Relaxing getaway near the largest lake in NJ

Private cottage in Lake Hopatcong Nj. Cottage is NOT on the lake and there is no direct access from the property. Enjoy fishing, boating and swimming in the largest lake in NJ. Cottage is in a quiet Neighborhood less then 1/4 mile from the lake. Enjoy outside lake view dining at the many restaurants the lake has to offer. Located 30 miles from PA and 40 miles from NYC. Private 2 bedroom, 1 bath Home. New kitchen and bathroom. Washer and dryer. Private driveway. In a quiet Neighborhood. There is WiFi a smart TV and Alexa. You must use your Amazon prime or other streaming IE netflix, sling etc. to watch tv. Besides all of the activities on the largest lake in NJ you are less then 1 hour from Pocono Pennsylvania and less then 1 hour from NewYork City. PA has shopping Outlets and a casino right over the bridge. There is a ring doorbell camera on the front of the cottage. Strict 4 person maximum and no pet policy.

The location was very convenient for us while visiting family nearby. This appears to be completely updated house. It was very clean and comfortable. Annmarie was very responsive when we had minor questions. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Will stay again!

My step daughter lives in NJ and this is our new go to place to stay! SO CLEAN, well appointed with everything you need and more. We found everything the owner says is available on the property to be true and of nice quality. She's very responsive and it's obvious she wants her guests to have a nice time at her property. Nice quiet neighborhood close to the lake and stores. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic stay

Annmarie was an exceptional host. Easiest stay my family has ever had. The house was clean, comfortable and very conveniently located to shops, food and the lake! 10/10 would most certainly stay again!

Perfect place with perfect location

When I booked this months ago, I needed a place accessible to the NYC metro area and Northwest New Jersey locations. Perfect location minutes to I-80, shopping, and restaurants. The house was perfect. Fantastic host who stayed in communication to make sure everything was perfect. Great kitchen, living room, and bedrooms.

Cozy Little House

We enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and perfect for our toddler and preschooler to play inside and out. Our children really loved the nature in the front yard and spent some time exploring the acorns and sticks. Everything was comfortable during our stay. Clean up was a bit chaotic at the end since we have two little ones but we did the best we could while chasing our youngest around the house. Overall, a really great stay! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Cozy cottage

Annmarie was great just awesome to work with. Home was perfect size for just the three of us. Home away from home. Quiet neighborhood close to all kinds of great places to visit. Perfect little spot! Will definitely use again if when we return for another stay.

Nice and cute house

Thank you Annmarie, for a wonderful house where we had a good rest with the whole family. The house is very cozy; there is a grill and a patio. Seven minutes walk to the beach and a five-minute drive to the shops. We will definitely visit this place again.

Peaceful Property

This was one of the best places ive ever stayed. It was a quiet neighborhood near the lake. It was just what my wife and I needed to spend a peaceful anniversary. The owner was extremely accommodating when my plans changed at the last minute. There are great restaurants within 5 minutes of the location. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to relax and just be.

We had a great visit and enjoyed our stay! The home is lovely, the area is beautiful, the closeness to the lake and restaurants is perfect. The host was wonderful and super responsive and helpful. All our needs were met.
