As soon as you walk in the front door you will feel like you are in your own private retreat center. Walking trails are close by for the adventurer to discover. You will be close enough to the amenities of the Kansas City area to enjoy all the city has to offer.

Bring your pianist to twinkle the keys of your very own grand piano and relax in the vaulted family room as your favorite chef cooks an amazing meal in this newly renovated kitchen.

Top off your evenings in the backyard around a fire making s'mores with the family. If you are looking for a quiet get away this is the place!

Beautiful setting

Spacious, comfortable home in a tranquil, wooded setting. We loved the direct access to the trail system, the campfire and porch seats- all allowing for outdoor relaxation and recreation. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well appointed, and neighborhood was very quiet. Highly recommend this location.

Wonderful place to stay in Blue Springs

We spent a few days at the Treehouse Retreat around the 4th of July while visiting family in the area. The house was wonderful - just as described. So roomy, comfortable, and very clean. We loved sitting on the back decks, watching the birds during the day and fireflies at night. We highly recommend you book this lovely home. We hope to do so again soon.

Great place for family!

House was in great condition. Back of property is wooded area w/ plenty of opportunity for kids to play. Nice decks in quiet, private setting.

Beautiful neighborhood and spacious, well maintained house. Gorgeous outdoors and hiking trails with various wildlife. Comfortable interior. Hosts always readily accessible. Great den downstairs for kids. Peaceful environment right in the heart of Blue Springs.

Spacious beautiful, relaxing and incredibly comfortable home. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Clean, well stocked kitchen perfect for our food prepping for Welcome event at the church. Owners were responsive to our questions and needs.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is very nice and the outside space is a great added bonus. The neighborhood is quiet and there are a lot of little perks like bottled water, kcups, any kitchen appliance you could possibly want, board games, toiletries, etc. We come to the area every year for a family reunion at Fourth of July and we will definitely be looking to reserve this property again!

Perfect for Us

Great location! Close to lots of dining and shopping, yet secluded from noise and traffic. Very neat and clean. Newer dishwasher made quick work of so many baby bottles! Super easy stay. We all loved it.

Great stay for the Curling Tournament

We were in town for a tournament at the local Curling Club. This house was great for 4 adult dudes .... three nice large rooms, the master is HUGE, and we let the little guy sleep on a couch. This place was well appointed (bottles of water and lots of coffee), and has a really neat out door fire place area. Fantastic stay, no complaints!

Family and Friends Treated to Nature

Family is the main theme here. Such a warm welcoming peaceful retreat space with all the comforts of an inviting home. Our family was most comfortable in this scenic tranquil setting. Nightly deer, fox, and owls all added to this lovely getaway in the woods. Family and friends gathered to reminisce, and all were treated to splendid moments of relaxation and forest views. The hosts were so accommodating to ensure our stay was quite memorable. We hope to visit again in the future. Thanks, Jodie and Dan for sharing your beautiful family home.

So glad we chose the Treehouse Retreat!

Our group really loved our stay at The Treehouse Retreat! After a busy day in the hot sun, it was so nice to come back to that house and relax. The backyard is just lovely! The location is great and convenient to several grocery stores. We were all very comfortable in the rooms, and we enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and grilling out on the deck. Our group also happened to be all musicians, so the baby grand piano was an added bonus. We would highly recommend this house!

Like Staying at A Friend's

I've stayed in a lot of VRBO properties, and rarely do I see so clearly the priorities of the owners. This home is filled with family photos, artifacts of their faith, and their love of music. The kitchen is well appointed, plenty of linens, and a little welcome basket my kids flipped over. The kids also enjoyed the well-stocked game cabinet downstairs, and spent time "hiking" in the backyard. Seven of us slept comfortably, with the benefit of the provided full size air mattress. This property is very warm and inviting; not stripped down to the bare minimum and sterile like many properties...almost like you're staying with family or a friend. It's such a great location for us to visit our family back in Eastern Jack. I hope we can be regulars.

A great home away from home!

This was our first vrbo experience. With 3 young adults/teenagers, it was fantastic to have all the amenities and bedrooms! The home was welcoming and the hosts were very helpful. Loved the fire pit and decks! Would love to come back in the summer or fall ❤️

Excellent!!

Fantastic home and beautiful neighborhood for our family while visiting KC. The fire pit in the back was used to create priceless memories and amazing s’mores! The hosts were super responsive and thoughtful during our stay. Definitely recommend for families. Would stay again without hesitation.

A nice suburban house with bucolic charm

The house is very nice, modern, and well maintained. The owners were a pleasure to rent from. It's a bedroom community for KC with a suburban feel that is nothing special, but it has its own little nearby town with restaurants and a good brewery. The big plus was the back of the house, which faces a beautiful wooded area. From the back porch we saw a fox and deer. When you exit the back on ground-level, there is a nice fire-pit and hammock. Even in the July heat, it was pleasant to sit outside on the porch amidst the treetops. Compared to other VRBOs, this house was well provisioned. There was nothing we missed. Highly recommended.

Sparkling Treehouse

House was very nice and we enjoyed our entire stay. Everything we needed was provided for us to use. We even found out our daughter in-law plays the piano. We enjoy a few walks on the many walking trails nearby.

Beautiful setting

It’s the best of both worlds. Part of a neighborhood and not far from all amenities and restaurants. Step into the backyard and you feel like you’re in a national park. Stunning backyard and setting. We spent every evening there. One suggestion to the owners - maybe install a modern thermostat that can switch between cooling and heating automatically since daytime and nighttime temperatures can vary a lot during late fall. Our daughter and her nanny, who is also her piano teacher, loved playing on the grand piano. No complaints!

Right place for right time

We were looking for a place that we as a family could gather together as we waited for an adoption to finalize. The Treehouse gave us easy access to amenities and plenty of space to simply be together, laugh a lot and share in the moment across four generations. What a great time — worry free. Thank you!

We love our home because of the privacy in the back. When people come to our home they can't believe how beautiful the back yard is and how quiet it is in our little culdesac. It is a perfect suburb of Kansas City so close to everything that is fun to do!
