Charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath close to beach

Welcome to the Turtles Nest! This charming two bedroom, 2 bath 1st floor apartment has a full kitchen, living room and a fenced in private deck. Both bedrooms are quite spacious with large walk-in closets. The ensuite bedroom has a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a King size bed. There are smart TV's in each bedroom and living room. Tile floors, washer and dryer located in the unit and free parking provided for 2 cars in private lot. We are 2.6 miles to the beautiful beaches of Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach. There are beach chairs, a beach umbrella and towels provided for your use. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Quiet Beach Getaway

Great stay in St.Pete. The place is tucked back off the road and provided a nice quiet stay. The private deck area was perfect to take in the sun and hear the birds. All while being so close to the beach and just 20 minuets from the beautiful downtown.

Nice quiet little apartment

The place worked perfect for me and my cousin. 2 comfortable beds, 2 clean full bathrooms, TVs in every room. It was exactly what we were looking for. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great space for a great price

Great location, with short drive to the beach and restaurants. Easy check in. Cozy quarters, but adequate for our needs. Missed having a table, but for a couple, it would be good with the counter space. Beds were very squeeky, but super comfy! Overall a great space for the price!

Everything we needed

We wanted a clean quiet place close to the beach and restaurants…a plus for us was it was also close to our relative’s house. We were less than 15 minutes from St. Pete’s Beach parking lot and also John’s Pass for fishing, shopping, and great restaurants at Medeira Beach. We felt safe at this location and if you need anything the owner Angie will take care of you with just a text/call.

Perfect little 2bdrm apartment

This place was absolutely perfect for us. It was close to everything we needed… 3 miles from the beach, grocery store, restaurants, ice cream shops, walking/biking path, you name it!! It was only a matter of minutes away. The owner was super friendly and the apartment was exactly as it said in the listing. Looking to book again for next year already! Thank you Chris for a wonderful place to stay!

Perfect for girls get away!

I traveled to St. Pete for a girls get away with my mom and sisters. The Turtle’s Nest was the perfect place for our long weekend away from the frozen tundra of Michigan in February! Lots of personal touches made the place especially homey! The response time for communications with Angela were quick and friendly with awesome recommendations for places to dine while in the area. Would recommend this property to anyone traveling to St. Pete and needing a comfortable place to stay.

Property was as represented. Good property for the value.

Unit was clean , well equipped, and very suitable for our needs. TV set up was frustrating to try and use as it is not traditional cable. Owner and agent were both very pleasant to deal with and were very responsive to any questions we had. Would consider staying there again.

Refreshing and Peaceful lodging

Before we arrived, Angie was in communication with me about our arrival and places we could site see! When we arrived, we found a clean, adorable little apartment that was so refreshing for my family! Both Chris and Angie were easy to communicate with and answered any needs/questions we had! Very easy access to the beach and shops, grocery shopping and entertainment. The house had all necessary dishes/misc items we needed! We will definitely return to this property if we visit again!

Jackpot!

This was my first experience with VRBO and it felt like I’d hit the Jackpot! I found this cozy apartment to be everything the listing promised. From check-in to check-out, Chris and Angie were helpful and informative in their communications. It was perfect for my mostly-solo stay and I enjoyed the quiet, cottage-like atmosphere. With the beach and plenty of shopping and restaurants close by, there was more than enough to do. If I am ever in need of a place to stay in this area again, I will definitely return!

Father/son birdwatching trip

My husband and son stayed here for birdwatching at Fort De Soto and other areas nearby. They had a great time and said the apartment was very nice, spacious and clean. The only thing that would have been better would be to have been given the apartment number prior to check-in, as even with the detailed description of the location they had a hard time finding the right one when they arrived after dark. But the location was great and everything else about the apartment itself was perfect for them.

Great value

Excellent value for St Pete’s area. Proximity to Pinellas bike trail appealed to me. FYI there’s a bike rental place about 3 blocks away off the trail northbound. Only complaint is there were only 2 barchairs at kitchen counter. So one of us had to stand up while eating. Easily can add another chair or two. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay.

Perfect Location - close to beaches, downtown, and interstate access.

We had a family wedding to attend and thought we would get our own place. This location was perfect for us. Our family in St Petersburg was able to come by and visit and we had easy access to the interstate for the wedding in Tampa. The VRBO was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. The grocery store was very nearby. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio. Coming from upstate New York, we enjoyed the Florida weather as much as we could. Angie was our contact person and she was very helpful and attentive. We will most certainly recommend this VRBO to our friends and family. We plan on using it again in the future!

10 out of 5 Stars!! - Perfect Property Within Minutes of the Beach

This was a second stay for us at this property. We were here for Spring Break 2021 and after looking at beach front condos, decided to return again for our summer family beach trip. First, Treasure Island Beach is Clearwater/St. Pete’s best kept secret. This beach is super family friendly and NOT crowded. But, this review is about the property and I was again so thankful to stay with such an accommodating host. Angie is the best with communicating and she always ensures this property is on tip too shape. From the beach towels to the beach chairs and even the cooler and umbrella, this property has what you need (and even the little extras you forgot) when you are ready to go have some fun in the sun (or ominous windy cloudy thunderous with sun in between weather as we had :/ ). I cannot recommend this property highly enough. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
