Glacier Lodge sits along a cobblestone pedestrian path in the heart of the Upper Village, making it easy to walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. Take a scenic ride aboard the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, the highest lift in the world at over 1,400 feet which runs between Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains. In warm weather, bring your clubs to play the 18 holes of Whistler Golf Club, take a zipline tour with Ziptrek Encounters, or hike one of the magnificent local trails. Be sure to visit the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre across the road as well, offering a fascinating look at the history of the area's Indigenous peoples.

Important Maintenance Information - Ongoing Glacier Lodge Property Projects
- Courtyard Pool & Hot Tub Closure
Starting Monday, June 9, 2025, the Courtyard, including the Pool and Hot Tubs, will be closed to begin the Courtyard Membrane Replacement Project. This closure is expected to continue until late fall 2026.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Over the Victoria Day long weekend (the weekend before the second-to-last Monday in May), all Vacasa properties in Whistler enforce a minimum booking age of 25.
This property is managed by ResortQuest Whistler Property Management, Inc., an affiliate of Vacasa.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.

Excellent value

While the property is not top of the line and the building shows its age, the pool, hot tubs, and location are superb. Overall a great value for it’s location.

The location can’t be beat, everything a family needs. Replacing the fluorescent lights would go a long way to improve the atmosphere.

Great location

Good location, big place, but no a/c and only one cheap fan so the place was hot and the mattresses in the pull out couches were horrible, thin and extremely lumpy. Had the worst sleep ever had. I emailed and complained but only got a generic msg in return.

Great location and loved the pool snd hot tubs

We love the location of this Accommodation. Very quiet and peaceful. The pool and hot tub’s were amazing and so much fun to swim in even at the end of October! The room was spacious. The bigger sofa bed mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, Everything was very clean and tidy.

Great location!

Everything was fine! The apt is very well located, the amenities were good, hut tube, fitness room, ski storage, etc There were some things in the apt like old fashion but not bad. The main bed was very comfortable, the sofa beds were ok. Thanks!

The property was bigger than expected. The price was good. Location was great. Only thing we noticed was a slight smell of old smoking. Best way to explain, smelled like they haven’t allowed smoking in a long time, but the carpets might still be holding onto it. The carpet also show a little wear near the entrance. With all that said, the price, location, friendly staff and ease of getting in and out made it a good place to stay, I really have no complaints, especially at the price. It will stay on my list for future stays.

Wouldn't stay for the second time

Stayed there for 4 nights for a conference at the Fairmont. I thought I was booking a hotel until I found out that there are no housekeeping services and you need to take out your own garbages. I think the communication is definitely an issue there. There seems to be an owner of the suite where guests stay so if you have an issue, staff at the desk cannot take it charge of the issue as they have to clear it with the manager at Glacier Lodge and the owner of the suite. A few issues occurred during my stay and there is a huge lag in communication until the programs get solved.

Spacious, great location, but lacks charm or personal touches

This unit has what we needed - great location at the base of blackcomb, spacious living area, and plenty of room for two young children to sleep in the living room. If it weren't for these features, I'd give it a much lower score as there was much room for improvement. - Kitchen is VERY poorly stocked. No potholders, minumum pans, few accessories (e.g., measuring cups). - Lighting was AWFUL. Bulbs were dim flourescents. Better bulbs would go a long way to brighten the place. The unit is quite dark since the only window is in the living room. No natural light flows into the kitchen or dining area, so better light bulbs would go a long way in warming the place up. - Very little decor on the walls. You can tell this unit is not owner occupied as it has little charm. - Cleaning was so so. The dining room fan was covered in layers of dust. - Vacasa was not generous with stocking necessities, like toilet paper and toiletries. We were only given two rolls of toilet paper for a 5 night stay with four people. I was told I needed to buy my own after that. When I pushed back they did bring more, but at least 3 rolls is what I would have expected for a stay of that length -- and I surely didn't expect to be told they only supply a "started supply" given the price of the place. - The bedroom could easily accommodate a king size bed. Vacasa was responsive to maintenance needs, but overall I was not impressed with their management of the property.

Tranquille pour une famille

Condo situé dans un quartier tranquille. Parfait pour une famille (espace, # chaises). La cuisine est bien équipée. L’appartement a une vue sur la piscine. Par contre, il aurait besoin d’un léger rafraîchissement (peinture, luminaires, déco, mobilier).

Excellent location and comfortable unit

The location is perfect. Less than 5 min walk on a darling path to get on the gondola. The village market and liquor stores made après-ski at home easy. The unit is simple but comfortable. My 3 teens had the fold out beds and said they weren’t the best but they managed to sleep for 11 hours so I think they were just fine. The living room is spacious and great for family games. Loved our stay despite the cold snap and we will be back.
