What a lovely, charming home! And on the beach, cant ask for more than that! My only comment would be that the kitchen could be a bit better stocked. Other than that, will definitely book again!

Another wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying here & it was wonderful! We got hit with some super gusty winds while there, but besides that it was a good stay! Location is amazing - right on the beach (which is pretty quiet) and near grocery stores and restaurants.

We knew that the "cottage type" houses in the neighborhood had mostly been torn down and "mega mansions" had replaced them because the friend we brought with us had grown up in the area years ago. It was better than perfect for 3 of us and our dog. Our friend is a cook which makes it even better. We went to the farmers mkt & bought food to cook so we could stay home w/our dog. And my husband got to go fishing right in front of the house.

Great location

Loved the location right in the sand and close to grocery stores and local restaurants. Appreciate the binder with local information - the recommended sushi place was a favorite. We could hear the sea lions barking from the house and they’re a short walk away on the beach!

What a gem! This charming little beach bungalow is full of character and has everything you need for a perfect getaway. The patio opens directly onto the sand—such an incredible feature! And the large picture window in the living room offers an epic view you’ll never get tired of.If I had one minor suggestion, it would be to update the linens—fresh towels, sheets, and bedding would really elevate the experience. But overall, this place was absolutely perfect for our little family!

The location of this home was perfect — close to everything and in a great area for a relaxing stay. The property management team was wonderful and very responsive, which made things easy from start to finish.That said, the house itself could really use some updates. You can tell that when things were fixed or remodeled, shortcuts were taken and lower-end materials were used. There were several signs of wear and tear, some electrical issues, and overall the home felt a bit dated for the price we paid. The linens and furniture could also use some attention.With a proper remodel and better upkeep, this place could easily be amazing because of the location and great service. Our stay was still good overall, but for the price, I think we could’ve found something a little higher quality nearby.

Beautiful place on the beach

I had an amazing stay at this rental property. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen is perfect for cooking small meals. The best part of it all is the location, right on the beach, and superb for surfing. Would love to come back and visit again!

A beautiful bungalow!

Waking up each morning to the beach right outside our door was amazing! The bungalow was spotless, very well appointed and the perfect place to come back and relax in after a day in the sand/water. The outdoor seating area facing the beach was perfect for sunsets.....and the seating area in front was perfect for our nightly bbqs. We can't wait to come back!

The perfect little beach house

This is the perfect little beach house. The house is so comfortable and the beach decor is so cute. All of the furniture including beds and couches are super comfortable. The place was very clean and we'll maintained. The best part is that you are right on the sand. I literally can't wait to go again!

This was our second time staying at this location and it did not disappoint. The house is in a quite neighborhood and on the sand ! Overall the experience was great ! We will be returning again.

Charming cottage

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming beach cottage! It was just the right size for our family of 4, and we LOVED that it was right on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the beds were comfy. It was so convenient and close to the marina for us to do fun activities on the water. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Calm little cottage by the sea.

The location could not get better with this sweet little home. The home was perfect for our needs. It was an easy check in process. The home was clean and well thought out for guests. They left a handy information book that was impressive. The space felt like home. I would recommend this home.

Quaint home with majestic views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hollywood Beach in Oxford, California has the feel of childhood summer vacations at a beach home. The house is adorable. The beach is massive, empty with the most gorgeous sunsets. You feel like you’re at the end of the world but at the same time you have access to everything you could possibly want in a cosmopolitan city. The house is very clean, kitchen and bathroom spotless. The first night we got locked out. It was a little frustrating because we had to talk to four different people to get help. However, every single person was lovely and they came and replaced the lock within an hour. The microwave broke the next morning and they came and replaced that extremely quickly also. The kitchen and the bathroom are newly renovated and gorgeous. There were so many thick fluffy towels. It felt very luxurious if you go during the summer, I would ask if they have air conditioning. When we were there, it was cold so we didn’t need it. They do have heat, however. We would highly recommend this serene beach home.
