Cross the street to the sand with this darling beach rental!
Decorated with personal touches, this is your home away from home to take in the ocean breeze and take long walks along the sand.
Enjoy the direct views of the beach and Channel Islands from the open floor plan. living space with vaulted ceilings.
Internet with smart TVs in the rooms, kitchen supplies, and board games means you can enjoy all the creature comforts if you want to relax indoors.

Two bedrooms and one bath accompany the living area upstairs.
Downstairs, a one bedroom suit with kitchenette and convertible futon offers privacy and space for part of your travelers.

There are also plenty of outdoor private areas to take in the ocean breeze. A roof deck allows you to lounge out in the sun or take in the panoramic views of the sunset. Great Girls Trip

Excellent place for our girls weekend. Great views and location. House was stocked with everything we needed (beach chairs, umbrella, sand mat, beach towels). Loved that it was walking distance to the local café and a few restaurants/hotels. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay

The home is beautiful with great ocean view views. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the games and had a good supply of kids toys. Communication with property manager was very quick. I hope to stay there again. Highly recommended.

Great Spot for the Family

Wonderful property right across from the beach, even a view of the beach from the balcony and rooftop deck. Plenty of toys for the kids. Plastic plates, glasses for the kids. This is a great place to bring the family.

Great stay!

If you’re looking for a beachhouse close to Oxnard, Malibu and Santa Barbara this is you’re place. Beach and sea view and situated on a slow traffic road. Lots of beach necessities, toys for the kids, and great central location.The kitchen is fully equipped. We don’t have any recommendations and would highly recommend this property for next travelers.

Amazing beach stay

The Kid is the perfect beach get away. From the location and direct access to the beach to the roof top deck to watch the sunsets. My family and I had an amazing time and can’t wait to book again next summer!

Perfect spring break vacation

This is third year we stayed in Hollywood beach and first time renting from The Kid. Can't say enough good things about the Kid, the location, the thoughtfulness of the host, the toys for the kids, the tasteful decor, we can go on and on with this list. We really enjoyed our stay!

Tranquility at the Beach

We had a great time at this property, and the updates are beautiful! Enjoyed being so close to the beach, and visited the Channel Islands State Park and Ventura Harbor nearby! The house had everything we needed and more!

Great Family Beach Trip

This place was great for our family of 4. Sandy, the owner, was fantastic. The location was great being right across the street from the beach. There is a vacant lot on the sand across the street so you can see the ocean from the unit, which is a nice perk. Easy 5 star review.

Great Beach house in quiet neighborhood.

It is a beautiful house right across the atreet from the beach. It had a beautiful view from the up stairs dining room. I stayed here with eight people teenagers to adult and their was plenty of room.

Great family friend location in Oxnard

THE KID was the perfect family friendly getaway in Oxnard right across the street from the beach. The house was stocked with activities for kids (books, toys, games) which was perfect for the rainy New Years weekend. And you can't beat the location right across the street from the beach. Sandy is a fantastic host. 5 stars!

The kid

This is second stay at The Kid. This place is even more than advertised. The communication with the host is outstanding. The house is beyond clean, has every amenity you could imagine. The location is very quiet and safe. I will definitely be back for year three!!
