Nestled within the unique Shell Island Beach Club, you're just a few feet away from Sanibel`s famous Lighthouse beach.
The Space: Fantastic ocean facing condo residence in the sought after Shell Island Beach Club development of Sanibel`s East End. For those familiar with the East End of Sanibel, Shell Island Beach Club faithfully represents its laid back nature and sublime beauty. Featuring picturesque landscapes of beach reeds, Seagrapes, and Buttonwood trees, foreshadowing the lush 14 acres of tropical beachfront this property sits on, one can easily understand why so many have adopted this community as their vacation spot of choice year after year. Shell Island Beach Club consists of 15 buildings in totality, many of which are available only on a timeshare basis and some, such as this residence, that are privately owned and available for rental year round.

As such the pool, tennis courts, and other amenities will very likely not be available for use during your stay. The Neighborhood: This unit is located on sunny Sanibel island, specifically on the East End. Shell Island Beach Club faithfully represents its laid back nature and sublime beauty. Featuring picturesque landscapes of beach reeds, Seagrapes, and Buttonwood trees, foreshadowing the lush 14 acres of tropical beachfront this property sits on, one can easily understand why so many have adopted this community as their vacation spot of choice year after year. Shell Island Beach Club consists of 15 buildings in totality, many of which are available only on a timeshare basis and some, such as this residence, that are privately owned and available for rental year round. These residences all feature the Gold Crown distinction, as well.
Getting Around: The unit is located 45 min from RSW Fort Myers. Rental cars, Ubers or taxis are the best means to get here. Upon arrival to Sanibel, we recommend bikes to get around.
Other Things to Note: We require guests to complete a construction/amenity access acknowledgement and liability waiver prior to their check in date A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.
Interaction with Guests: We provide guests with as much privacy as they would like, yet are available in an instant as needed to address any issues, large or small. We are available through phone, text, e-mail, and in person any time assistance is needed and are equipped to handle any guest request.

Wonderful getaway!
We loved the location! We enjoyed sitting on the patio for breakfast and viewing the ocean! Our children having their own beds added to the comfort. We cooked two meals a day and had all the supplies we needed! We loved having access to bikes to ride the island! I plan to come back!!!

Pros: if this place were not under construction, the location to the beach, the pool and tennis courts would be convenient. The place was clean and the kitchen had all necessary utensils. Came with one load of laundry detergent, 2 dishwashing loads and some dish soap. Bathrooms had some small toiletries.
Cons: the listing said it came w bikes, but never did as those were considered part of the “amenities” that were not available during this time period of repair…which was not specifically indicated as the title of the listing was condo with bikes. If I had known, i would not have booked this property as the only things we could do was go to the beach or bike around…The extra towel in the drawer had some dead bugs inside, possibly since the condo had not been used for a span of time. There is no iron, and the property manager had stated they were going to get one, but never came with it. The bed was stiff and the sheets were itchy. The decor and furniture were brand new and still had tags on it. There were a lot of ants on the porch (and we did not eat out there). Beach supplies: 4. Beach towels and 2 chairs. Would def recommend bringing a large beach blanket and some sort of umbrella or covering. The toilet paper holder in the master bath was not present and needs to be reinstalled
Suggestions for the property: include an iron, also a box of tissues in the bathroom would be helpful. And possibly clear out the clutter and spare parts to things from the drawers,

Great Condo
We had a nice stay. Condo has great views. We had an issue with the type coffeemaker that was pictured that wasn’t there and a brand new Keurig was delivered the next morning! It was off season when we visited so a lot of restaurants were closed, but enough were still open. The beach was steps away and it was beautiful. One morning I watched the sunset on beach in front of condo and saw a school of dolphins go by!

Great girls getaway
This unit was perfect for our week on Sanibel. It was stocked with everything we needed from beach chairs and umbrella to stemware for our champagne. The ocean view soothed these stressed-out moms cares away!

Great stay!!
We had a wonderful stay on this property in Sanibel. The condo was perfect for our family (2 young boys) and they loved the heated pool, hot tub & shuffleboard. Loved how accessible the beach was. The condo was very well stocked with kitchen gear BUT there was no salt/pepper or other spices to be found, which would’ve been a nice staple to have. Also very minimally stocked toilet paper & garbage bags so you will need to buy some (we were only there 5 days and quickly ran out) but overall we loved everything & Would definitely recommend this property!

This condo was perfect in location size and beach proximity. This condo was in the front with the pool to the left and the beach walkway right in the front. These condos are raised, so you park your car underneath out of the late afternoon rains or sun. The porch is screened in so you feel safe from bugs, however enjoy amazing views of the ocean. The complex is clean and has beautiful landscaping. The condo kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig as well as a multi cup coffee maker. King sized bed was so comfortable. Beach chairs are included with the condo. We did find the beach umbrella somewhat small. You can rent umbrellas from a local place. Loved the tasteful decorating. Relaxing and welcoming. Would rent this place again if we ever get down this way again!
