Palmetto Carriage House - open and airy studio apartment close to everything!

Palmetto Carriage House is a light filled studio apartment full of charming, eclectic details! With vaulted ceilings and reclaimed materials, the Carriage House is full of style and personality. A king size bed and full bathroom (with a tub) is perfect for two people. Generous seating in the living room offers plenty of places to nap or read. A charming, private back porch is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a cool drink at the end of the day. A small but well stocked efficiency kitchen meets your needs for a short day. There is no stove but a hot plate and toaster oven will cover all your cooking needs. There is a full sized washer and dryer in the attached laundry area. We provide an initial supply of coffee, creamer, sugar, toiletries and laundry detergent for few days. Folding beach chairs and beach towels are available for guest use.

The Carriage House is a short stroll (.5 miles) to the heart of downtown Fairhope full of great shopping and delicious restaurants. Located behind Palmetto Cottage, which is also available to rent, the detached Carriage House has it's own dedicated parking and private entrance and is located on the same property as the Cottage.

Driveway is tight so no trailers or campers are allowed.

Palmetto Carriage House

We stayed here for a wedding in Fairhope. It was so convenient and easy to walk to the downtown shops/food. We loved our experience at the Palmetto Carriage House.

Carriage house

A nice and quiet place that is perfect for 2 people. The property is charming and close to downtown Fairhope. The carriage house was nicely furnished and the king bed was comfortable.

Friend’s Wedding Weekend!

We had a great time staying in the carriage house for a long wedding weekend. The place was immaculate and had everything you might need and more! We enjoyed walking to Downtown and it was super convenient for all of the wedding festivities! Hope to be back soon!

Convenient and Relaxed

I just spent a month at the Carriage House. It is a lovely and peaceful spot. The location is great, easy to get to shops and restaurants or out to the highway. It would have been nice to have a bit more of a kitchen but that will not likely be an issue for shorter rentals. Have coffee with the squirrels and Cardinals in the morning!

This home MADE our Weekend Away the Best We've ever had!

I can't even begin to tell you how much we loved staying here! It was SO cute! Quaint, tastefully adorned, and so many thoughtful amenities throughout the space. We even had a handwritten note when we arrived! Summer was the best host we've ever dealt with! She was very informative of the area (book is inside) and instructions ahead of time to check in, parking, etc. It was also very clean! The location was ABSOLTUEY perfect. Literally a minute drive into downtown. We even snuck back out at 9:30pm one night just to get dessert from Tamaras! Ha! I swear that was the most comfortable bed and linens I've ever slept in. It was just the perfect, coziest place we've ever had the privilege of staying in. Thank you, Summer! We will absolutely try to sneak away to stay here again!

Just lovely

We loved this little house! It was so perfect for us and exactly what we needed for our trip. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was so homey, cozy and inviting. Very comfortable like home away from home. We hated to leave and can’t wait to return. Summer was great! When I had questions, I was blown away at the speed of her responses. She has created quite a special little gem that has etched a place in our hearts. The only thing I wish could be different is the driveway—which given the layout of the property and neighborhood probably can’t be changed. There were multiple vehicles at the other rental property during our stay, so it was very tight to come and go, even for my car. The front end of our car is very low so we also had to be careful not to drag coming and going. But if we would’ve driven one of our SUVs I’m not sure how that would’ve worked. So when it says the driveway is tight, it is tight. It’s absolutely doable—just be aware. Even so, there’s no way that it would keep us away. :)

Great little place near town

This was an easy walk to the restaurants and shops in town. Really cool design and some nice touches. Definitely recommend.

Sweet little cottage

The cottage was perfect, very clean, close to town with everything we needed. We had coffee and a light breakfast there every morning a perfect way to start the day. Thank you for the card and gift very thoughtful, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Adorable cottage close to downtown.

My husband and I stayed here for a short weekend get away to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean and decorated so tastefully. The owners even left us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate!! Great place! We would definitely stay here again.
