Beachfront Condo 500 Steps to the Ocean - Centrally Located! Pet Friendly!

One bedroom condo on Charleston's closest beach! 15 minutes from downtown Charleston and 500 steps to the ocean. The City of Folly Beach has many pet friendly restaurants, a dog park, and dogs are allowed on the beach from October through April. Your condo is one block to restaurants and shops. King size deluxe bed. Queen pullout sofa and love seat in living room. Expanded cable. 50" Flat screen TV in living room. Kitchenette with dishwasher. Access to washer/dryer on suite (shared with one neighbor). The building is elevated, and we are located on the second floor. There are two flights of stairs to the condo. All balconies facing the beach are shared. This condo is the one closest to the stairs, so you will be chatting up your neighbors as you watch the ocean.

*Pet friendly, no fee, well behaved, house trained, and flea treated. If your pup has separation anxiety, please keep him or her with you at all times.

*We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your stay, so your trip is protected. we appreciate your understanding and hope to host you soon.

 *We cannot offer early check-in or late check-out. Our cleaning team’s schedule is set in advance, and we never know exactly how long a clean will take.

The host was very accommodating. I would have preferred the hairdryer be furnished, but the amenities were excellent. Also, great location close to beach, pier, and Center St. Very comfortable and clean.

You can't beat this location! That's exactly why I booked it. Don't listen to the negative reviews about being in a fishbowl because of the stairs, just know that if you are a stickler about having a unobstructed view out of your window then this is not the location for you. If you are a stickler about getting a decent price for a location that is literally steps away from the beach with an ocean view, then this is the location for you. I wanted to spare no expense for my boyfriend's first real vacation, but be realistic and not get something extravagant for just the two of us. I knew by looking at the pictures the staircase was going to be in front of the picture window it was not an issue for us. The fact that we were so close to everything literally a row of houses away from the pier and Rita's was perfect.We were able to watch the Surfers, see dolphins, and if you take a helicopter tour to the lighthouse you will pass right in front of your condo! This was the best and most perfect location.The one comment I do have is that the bathroom could definitely be upgraded it was very hard to turn on the shower in the shower knob was old. There was also no air filter in the preexisting slots in the shared laundry room which could cause a little bit of privacy concern, but are neighbors next door while we were there did not use the laundry room. But it also caused some sound proofing issues as well.

Our second time to stay at these condos and they are perfect. Super close to the beach, clean, secure and the location to Center Street and Bert's is fantastic! We'll definitely be back!

Perfect Location!

The condo is exactly as pictured/described. The living room is cozy and our bed was comfy! The decor is very cute! We never needed to use it, but I love that there’s a washer and dryer right off the living room. We were able to bring our two dogs which was a huge plus for us. The best thing is that it’s right on the beach! We just had to walk down the stairs and take the boardwalk directly to the sand. Perfect!

Lovely beach escape

We very much enjoyed our week at this beachfront condo. The owner/manager was easy to communicate with and very accessible, which was helpful and appreciated. Walking straight onto the beach for walks along the surf, and into town, which was right there with many restaurant selections (and an excellent massage therapist.!), and bicycling through the wonderful neighborhoods were activities made easy with this great location. Highly recommended!

Fantastic winter getaway!

I stayed here with my dog for a break from the northeast winter. The proximity to the beach and center street could not be better. It’s a block or two from the bars and restaurants, so you don’t have noise from that, but you DO get the views and sounds of the ocean. I felt very safe walking by myself at night, though I would recommend buying a light up leash or collar for your dog if you have once, since the streets aren’t brightly lit at night. The location was also convenient to get on/off the island, if you’re planning to do any trips to Charleston (35 min drive to downtown).The condo was well furnished and clean. It had ample pots and pans for cooking, and it’s right around the corner from Bert’s market which has cooking essentials. The hosts were communicative, and when I had an issue with a bug (nothing to do with the condo, just the reality of South Carolina!) they were very understanding.

Little getaway

Lovely area despite restrictions on beach access

The property has been seriously upgraded since our stay a few years ago. It is freshly painted and refurbished. Owners were pet friendly to our 70 pound boxer. Unfortunately, the first two days of our stay were somewhat inconvenienced by the fact (undisclosed by the property owner) that beach access was closed to the public for a major dredging project to remediate surf erosion. We were able to access the beach a block away in early morning and evenings to walk our boxer and later in our stay, directly from the walkway serving the building.

Always a fantastic experience staying on Folly Beach. Excellent proximity to local restaurants and only steps to the beach. The house was spotless & cozy with plenty of amenities and fully stocked for any occasion.

Great rental. Loved the decor, the amenities, clean, great water pressure, clear and professional communication. Beautifully located and literally you open the door and bam….beautiful ocean and beach view. Great sunrises and sunsets. Just a great location!!! I want to stay here forever. I do hope to stay again.

Great little condo

My dog and I loved staying at this condo. There were a couple of minor issues, but the host was very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect and the condo is cozy. It's important to note that there is no elevator, and there are a total of 33 stairs to climb to get to this unit (4 sets of 8 plus an extra step at ground level). It seems like a lot, but it's only really an issue if you have a lot of heavy bags to tote up the stairs. My aunt was able to climb all the stairs with her oxygen tank. Definitely thinking about making this an annual stay.

Great stay!

Great stay at this property! It was clean and communication with the property manager was efficient. The condo is in a great location, right off the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants. Will definitely be back again next year!
