This 7/7 gorgeous lake house in Lake Placid, Florida is the prime space to get away, safely, with family and friends. Enjoy a large space for all and relax on the private lake beach. The water is crystal clear and waste-high all the way to the dock. Easy access to boat/ski rentals and can dock right to the property. There is a huge loft and beneath is a large game room including shuffle board, pool and foosball. Rokus in every room and WIFI throughout. Enough room for the family and more.

Another Great Group Experience

This is our second time staying at this house for the weekend and it is perfect for any large group. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, space in general. We love the games and the view right on the lake. Would definitely recommend and and we would stay here again as well

Nice family property and great host

After finding the last 3 bedrooms, we had a great time. Very nice family oriented place and a very responsible and responsive host. We even had 2 full propane takes for grilling! Enjoyed it and will return.

Family Ties Indeed

This is an amazing home that will truly satisfy the needs for any large, game-loving group. The number of bedrooms with private baths is amazing. The lake is beautiful and the region is fun and unique. Great rental!

Wonderful House for large family gatherings

We were a large family group and truly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for all. Bathroom in almost EVERY room was a huge perk. Conversing with owners was easy and enjoyable. Close enough to town and Publix to make life easy as well.

Great family vacation

Our big family had a great time at the lake house. Plenty of room for everyone to have their on rooms. Owners were very attentive if we had any questions. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for a large group everyday. Loved being able to walk right in the lake and jump on the boat or jet ski. We hope to come back again someday.

Amazing place.

We booked at last minute but comunication was great for the start. Home is everything they advertise and more. We had a large group and were able to accomodate everyone. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need. Great game room, plenty of board games. Place was perfect and next time we visit lake placid we will definitely be staying here.

Huge Property

This was a great house for a large group of people. There were many bedrooms to sleep a large number of kids and adults. Everyone loved the ping pong and billiards table. There did need to be additional silverware for such a large home (could only find 8 forks) and would suggest additional beach towels (4) since they are bulky to travel with but the home was great, beds comfortable, and the beach area very nice. Would rent again.

That’s what I call a Lake Trip!

We had so much fun at Family Ties. We are a group of 5 families with children, teenagers, and adults. The house has an ‘interesting’ set up but gives each family a private nook. The kitchen was perfect for feeding everyone…all day long! The game room was a huge hit and kept everyone entertained. The view is amazing and the screened in patio was relaxing. Loved the grassy area and the beach. The house provided everything you need for a idealistic lake trip. The owners we very responsive and helpful. Thank you Family Ties!

90th Birthday

The house overall is a great one. Loved the screened in porch, the game room and all the space. Thought all the roominess of the additional rooms were great. Didn't like the fact that it felt it hadn't been cleaned for months. Sandy floors - which I swept up, most of the remotes didn't work - I bought batteries and replaced them. Thought how they were tied to the boards was odd, but understandable. The "garage" was really hot and the middle bedroom air conditioner didn't seem to keep up. Didn't appear the sheets were all changed from the last stay - very dusty and musty. The lake area was gross. Not groomed and too much algae to get in the water so we did not utilize the lake at all. I would suggest you change cleaning crews or at least have them come in a refresh the place between guests. Could have been so much better for the price.

Fun Family Vacay

Such a wonderful home - perfect for the entire family! This was our second stay and hopefully will not be our last. House is lovely - clean, comfy and well-stocked and we had great communication with hosts. Really just a perfect place to relax and have fun with the family.

GFNY Sebring ride

Our stay was that we came to the area as we need a place to stay , we were participating in a Bicycle event on Sunday. WE are a group of Six couples older in age young at heart. The property is great , majestic view , I am sure it must be even nicer in the Summer. The lake water look wonderful however , not being a Floridian , I would be afraid of Crocodile. The House has wonderful amenities including numerous TV therefore able to see numerous games while we relaxed pre and post race. The owner had clear instruction which we followed and therefore did not have to bother him in the least bit. He was friendly and timely with his communication with us. Would stay there again. FYI : Medical facility readily available, wish we did not have to find that out but we did.

Phenonemal family vacation

All with the Family

Great for large families or a group of close friends. Indoor/Outdoor fun for all ages. Plenty of room to spread out and come together at the large dining table. The lake was wonderful and fishing was great! If you have big boy water toys, bring them. Long dock to tie up. Really enjoyed celebrating both our parents 80th birthday parties and their 56th Anniversary. Would do it again.
