We stayed at this house while my daughter had a ski race at McCauley Mountain. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone.

Great place

We were 100% satisfied with our stay at this beautiful property. Great view of the lake and the owners thought of everything with the accommodations. Minutes away from town and plenty of hiking spots close by.

Wonderful stay

We headed up to the Adirondacks to watch the eclipse and meet up with my Son's school group. We had a great time staying at Chuck's cabin. Super cozy and very well appointed. Lake view is awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

Fun winter weekend

Very clean & comfortable accommodations for a winter getaway to the Adirondacks. Convenient location to outings in the area, lots to do from skating to skiing and staying cozy at the house, we loved it! Thanks so much, what a great camp- might have to come back in the summer!!

Beautiful place to stay, kind owners

Our family spent the weekend in Old Forge and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. I reached out to the owner with a question and he was very responsive and helpful. The home is beautifully updated and has absolutely everything you need for a great stay. Rent and enjoy :)

Adirondack Getaway

Early summer getaway. Cozy lake house on the channel. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The home was lovely and so close to everything. We will be back.

Excellent stay

Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful property, everything we could possibly need to feel at home. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the boats go by. So peaceful and relaxing. Fall Weekend Getaway !!

Superior Spot with spectacular sunrise

We really loved this property. Has so much to offer! Outside Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, deck and dock to enjoy the views —plus the impeccable inside with much larger feeling in the kitchen/family room than you would guess! Thank you!

Adorable place in perfect waterfront location

The house is fully renovated with upgraded appliances, comfortable furniture, etc. The setting on the waterfront is gorgeous and also offers plenty of ways to enjoy and access the water - from the deck off the house to the dock and the firepit area. With 2 small bedrooms and 1 bath, it is on the cozy side but if you are spending a lot of time outdoors, there is plenty of space to enjoy. And the access to town & hiking and biking trails is excellent.

Amazing property

Who would’ve known that January in the Adirondacks could be so relaxing. The property itself is great. Never didn’t have a fire. Chuck, the owner, is very communicative which I appreciate. If I could buy it I would!! Highly suggest since I’m picky. Go book!!!

Everything you need in a great location!

My husband & I and our adult kids stayed here. It was a great location, only a 5 min drive to OF, and on the beautiful channel. The house was clean and had everything you could think of stocked in the kitchen. Great kitchen for cooking meals at home. The host generously provided paper goods, beach towels, linens and more! We had fun watching the boats go by while sitting on the deck which has gorgeous views of the morning sunrise. Quiet neighborhood with neighbors close by. Wonderful host w/excellent communication.

Lovely cottage on the Channel

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. All one floor living made it easy for my elderly mom. The kitchen is fully equipped for whatever you will need. (Didn’t need to bring so much with us). It rained a little everyday at some point, but it was very relaxing watching all the boats go by. The fire pit area was beautiful and they provided the wood. The owners have paid great attention to all details and use of space. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We will look into another stay.

A perfect idyllic getaway!

This was the perfect place for my wife and me to unwind and connect with nature.. I have been coming to Old Forge during the summer for 35 years, but have never been during the Fall leaf season. It was less crowded and even more beautiful, and this cabin on the water was perfect. The location was ideal, A few minutes from town, on the channel and only a few houses away from First Lake. The place was immaculate, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, and made a fantastic use of the space. The owners had a great welcome video to guide you through the nuances of the cabin, and were very attentive and willing to answer any questions befor or during our stay. We will definitely be back again to stay here!
