This 2400 sq ft home sits on the 8th hole of the Almaden Country Club. Great views of the mountains, golf course and pond. Walking distance to nearby shopping center, Starbucks, restaurants and near walking - biking trails. Dog(s) allowed with deposit and prior written approval by rental owner. This property is great for a “Staycation” and is very relaxing and it is great for some family fun!!!!!

Lovely stay

We needed a little break from the city and wanted a pool and warm weather so we booked this house. We had such a lovely time! The house was great! Quiet neighborhood. A quick trip to Safeway. The pool was great! The house is right on the golf course and my daughter and I had fun heading out in the evening to do a little putting on the green! There’s lovely outside space to hang out. They were really responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Family getaway in San Jose

The house and grounds are spacious and comfortable and all on one level. The kitchen had every appliance, utensil, and cooking/storage item we could have hoped for. The coffee maker used (provided) Keurig pods, but there was a refillable pod we could use for our own coffee. The kitchen, dining room, living room, and family room all flow together, and have easy access to the outdoor areas. The video directions to heat the hot tub were clear and helpful. The pool and hot tub were a main reason we booked this location, and while the pool was too cold to use, the hot tub was a big success, as were all the outdoor seating areas that overlook the golf course and the hills beyond. The beds were comfortable, and the master suite with bath (dual shower heads!) was very roomy. The other two bedrooms (there was a 4th room that was locked) were snug but comfortable. The second shared bath was also small but functional, and there is a half-bath in the laundry room. The dining room table and chairs worked well for 6 of us eating and playing games, the living room seating was very comfortable for 6 adults, the entertainment center and TV were top-notch, wifi was reliable and fast. We paid the deposit for a small dog, and he was able to roam the back yard and hang out inside on the hard-surfaced floors throughout the house (only one of the bedrooms had wall-to-wall carpet). The rooms and bathrooms were clean and had paper towels for quick and sanitary hand drying, as well as a supply of bath towels -- all towels were in the master bath when we arrived. The only issue we had was that the owners left many of their own supplies behind -- every shelf and door space in both the fridge and freezer was filled with their food and condiments. We had to completely rearrange both fridge and freezer to accommodate our food for 6 adults for 3 days. Similar story with the owners' bath supplies in both baths, and their clothes in the closets. We made room for our own things, so it wasn't a problem, just unexepected. Also, the owners' SUV was parked in the driveway the whole time we were there. We loved staying here, we just felt like the owners had been living there right up to a day before we showed up! We would stay here again, it was a blessing to be with our adult children over Christmas during Covid times.

San Jose Stay

We had a fantastic stay in Almaden last weekend! The back yard was amazing and we spent most of the weekend by the pool! The house was great and the kitchen fully stocked! The owner Maggie was great and very responsive. None of us wanted to leave. Elyse
