Paradise at the Lake! Private Road, Tall Mature Trees, Waterfront with Dock!

We are a fifth generation family who call this place our summer home and are solely looking for a select few respectful guests to help offset the costs of owning this little slice of heaven. If you're interested in staying at our beautiful cottage in Three Mile Bay then kindly inquire within. We'd love to get in touch and help provide a fun, relaxing, and wonderful experience for your and yours in our cozy cottage. This place is truly one of a kind and very well appointed.

Quick fishing trip

Great place in a great location for a three day fishing trip on Lake Ontario. Everything went well and we will plan to be back again.

We had a great stay and hope to return again. The cottage is the perfect spot for a get away...so relaxing and peaceful. Kyle was fantastic about communication.

Very nice, clean house with plenty to offer inside. Fit five adults and one dog perfectly. Big driveway, decent yard, right on the water. The owner was great to work with. A couple recommendations, little round up on the patio and step area, weeds all over The wooden dock needs some minor TLC and the biggest recommendation would be to make easy access to get into the water. Had fun fishing off the dock, daughter caught a 4lb bass.

Fabulous stay

Wonderful place with peaceful surroundings, beautiful sunsets, and full lake inlet views. I have really enjoyed the different water fowl with their new hatchlings. Kyle, the host, is always available to help with questions. Perfect for thoses who fish or bird watch. The home is laid out well to allow you relax.

The best place we could've ever asked for!

Staying in this beautiful home has been nothing but amazing, the veiw you get to enjoy every day is breathtaking and being in such a cozy and inviting home makes you feel a happiness you cant put into words! My family and I moved to this area and we've stayed here while house hunting, Kyle has been an amazing host going above and beyond to help us every way he can and to make our move as easy as possible. He truly puts alot of love into this beautiful home to make sure you have the stay of your life! If you want a true northern lakeside getaway there's no other place you should pick than this lovely lake house!

This lake house is so nice and it's been in the family for a long time and has been well loved. Love the view from the porch, especially the Canadian Geese in the mornings and the sunsets at night. We didn't use the upstairs part of the house, because there was only the two of us and a dog. Very comfortable King size bed downstairs that has access to two bathrooms. Lots of supplies for laundry as well. The yard was fenced and there was a doggie dog so it was easy for my dog to get out. The one thing I feel needs to be address is there are too many things on the countertop and the cabins are so full of supplies. There is a small shelves for food, but if you are planning on staying a week you would need a little more room. I can't say enough about our host Kyle!! We kept in touch and answered all my questions before we got there as well as anything we needed to know after we arrived. I left a sticker on the refrigerator about a doggie daycare and boarding which is amazing!! Also if you are in town and want to eat out you need to go to Wise Guys Italian Restaurant! Some of the best Italian we have had. Thanks, Kyle, for allowing us to stay at your family home..

A beautiful, peaceful, pet-friendly place

Our family (my husband, me, our two daughters in their early 20s, and our two golden doodles) very much enjoyed our stay at this perfectly-sized and perfectly-appointed getaway house. We really liked the food at Jack’s Diner and Wise Guys as well. We will definitely be back, although next time we’ll stock up a little better at Wegmans on our way out of Rochester, as the local grocery options aren’t abundant. Cannot recommend the place more highly, though, and the fenced-in yard made it super-easy for us to not have to worry about our dogs wandering. Stress-free!

Beautiful, Comfortable, Welcoming

Honestly nothing but positive experience from the ease of booking, coordinating with Kyle, check in/out and the entire stay itself. Perfectly outfitted home with all the comforts. Very thoughtfully set up to make us feel like the space was for us. Even a fresh ground bag of local coffee! The waterfront is gorgeous. The access off the dock was perfect for water sports, swimming and paddle boarding and the sunsets were out of this world. We enjoyed the proximity to Clayton, 1000 Island tours, mini golf and great restaurants. Thanks to Kyle and his family for sharing their piece of heaven with our family. It’s seemed like every day of our stay, we were planning when we could come back to “True North” again!!

Lovely cottage on the water

I rented this cottage for my family to stay for the week. The cottage is exactly as pictured & described. The host had everything ready & he answered my questions quickly that I had about the area. This cottage was lovely in every way. We loved the view of the water from the living room & deck. We enjoyed being right on Lake Ontario but also close to 1000 Islands. The cottage had all the amenities & was beautiful. It was truly relaxing.

Fantastic Cottage on the Water!

From start to finish, we enjoyed our vacation at 3 Mile Bay. House was well-appointed. Furniture and beds were comfortable. We fished, we rented a boat on the St. Lawrence. We shopped in the cute little town of Clayton. We read books, played games. kayaked across the bay. All of it was amazing, and the host was always available quickly by text. Thanks, Kyle!

Beautiful waterfront cottage in very tranquil community

Our family had a very nice vacation at this wonderful waterfront cottage. The cottage slept 5 comfortably; very quaint clean cottage; unbelievable sunsets from living room or patio; good fishing right off dock; able to swim in nice clear water right off dock; owner was fantastic and very attentive addressing questions from start to finish; short drive to several nice restaurants & fantastic walking area throughout lakefront community. Definitely recommend this property and Kyle (owner) exceeded our expectations as an owner!

Quiet, clean getaway

We enjoyed our stay at true north cottage. Kyle was easy to reach with questions, etc. Property is tucked away in cove; peaceful setting. Cottage was decorated neutrally and had plenty of cabinet and dresser space for us to use.
