Welcome to Bay Haven! This home is the perfect place for your ice fishing or winter getaways. Bring your snowmobiles or ATVs because the NYS boat launch is a short 30 second walk, where you’ll find world class fishing. After a long day of catching Walleye, come home to warm up by the floor to ceiling fireplace. Perfect for a family or a small group looking to spend time in the area and enjoy Lake Ontario during the fall and winter seasons.

wanted to take a moment to say how much we truly enjoyed our stay this weekend. She has done an absolutely fantastic job with every detail—from the clear labeling and easy-to-find essentials, to the cutest décor that instantly made us feel at home.I especially loved the personality in the notes throughout the binder—it made me smile and added such a warm, personal touch. The guest experience notebook was also one of my favorite things—so sweet to read everyone’s stories and adventures.We’re all completely obsessed with the whole vibe she created here. Our time was short, but it was so special for our family, and I honestly wish we had more reasons to come back. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with us—it’s truly a gem.

Our stay here was amazing! Katie was a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions we had. The beds slept awesome and that is coming from someone that has chronic back issues. We were a group of four small mouth anglers up from SC and the house was perfectly placed to fish the bay or river with ease. The driveway perfectly fit two large trucks with 21 ft boats in tow. Power hookups to charge our equipment were in the utility building out back. If you are an angler looking for a place to accommodate your needs, look no farther.

Good location

Katie was very responsive. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Having the bathroom on the first floor and bedrooms on the second was a challenge for us as we have old bladders. Younger families shouldn’t have a problem.

Quiet, nice neighborhood and a well maintained, clean house.

We only stayed one night, and everything was ready, clean and prepared for us. My wife and I do dog shows (not this time) and stay at many Air-B-B's and this was cleaner than most. Nothing was a problem, except at 79, those stairs were difficult for my bad knee. Easy trip to Watertown for dinner, and the next day back on 81.

Cute and Cozy

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in July to attend the French Festival and visit Alexandria Bay. The house was convenient to both locations, was in a safe neighborhood, and had off street parking. The hosts/property owners have gone the extra mile with details like providing nightlights, labeled light switches, thick toilet paper, and a binder with useful house rules/information/tourist information. Communication with the host was quick and easy and the check in/check out process was the same (keyless entry). Three things of note for future travelers: the only bathroom is on the first floor while the two bedrooms are on the second floor; the house is older so the stairs are steep and narrow; the first floor has central A/C while the second floor has window units. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to come back again if we are in the area. Thanks again for hosting us!

Older small home in a quaint village

The house is neat and clean, convenient to locations we visited in the area and pretty much met our expectations. Two things that should be made clear in the listing: 1) the one bathroom is on the first floor, and 2) there is only a k-cup coffee maker.

Lovely clean and spacious home

Beautiful home, spacious, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, laundry and fireplace were all wonderful. Only issue is not the host's fault. We were looking forward to fishing and swimming and the water was disgusting with algae and slime across the street. The house was wonderful.

Excellent communication with owner

Comfortable, extremely convenient to everything and especially the boat dock and fishing. Katie was SO easy to work with and made the process perfect! We will stay here again when we come back this way!

Great ice fishing location

Great place to stay for a quick ice fishing get away. Plenty of parking and close to the boat launches. Chaumont bay boat launch is only a short drive down the road.

Peaceful and clean!

Owners were always helpful if you needed anything and always responded quickly if you have any questions. Clean and peaceful! Beds were so comfortable. And the fishing was amazing! Would love to go back for another visit!
