Beautiful Chalet to Enjoy All Four Seasons

Enjoy your "DRIVE-CATION" in Bethel Maine. See everything Maine and the White Mountains have to offer. Great hikes await at all three Notches (Evans Notch 16 miles, Grafton Notch 21 miles and Pinkham Notch 30 miles). Plenty of trails for those looking to mountain bike (beginner to advanced). Check out Mt. Abram's new mountain bike park. Visit the local watering holes for swimming. Kayak or canoe the the Androscoggin River. We welcome family gatherings. Enjoy the great outdoors but return in the evening to all the comforts of home.

Ask about discounts for extended stays. This is a non-smoking property.

The Chalet has 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. It will comfortably sleep up to 10-12people. Two family rooms allow plenty of room for everyone. Enjoy the surround sound, and quick access to your Netflix account. Take in the magnificent views of the mountains from the deck. After a long day of activities, come back and relax in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped and included in your rental are towels and linen. Laundry faculties are also available on site.

Additional fee if there is a late check out.

Pet Friendly: We welcome well-trained, friendly dogs and have plenty of room for them to run off leash. A pet fee of $75 per stay is required,Additional fee may apply for multiple dogs.

The house is absolutely beautiful! The views are stunning, and the home is tastefully decorated with all the essentials provided. The owner was very responsive and attentive throughout our stay. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning!

Ski House in Bethel

Overall a very good stay. The house is beautiful, situated way up a hill with a view of the mountains from huge windows.Pros: size of house, kids hung out downstairs watching movies, the adults upstairs. Plenty of beds. The mud room going in is perfect for taking off ski gear or dirty boots. hot tub fully functional and set properly. Kitchen fully equipped, all able to sit around the table for family meals.Cons: Driveway wasn't salted, my car slid down by itself after parking. It took hours to get a hold of owner/property Mgr to inform them of propane smell in house. Had to call VRBO to get help. Turned out it was empty propane tank. Propane tanker couldn't get up the hill, then the driveway got sanded. Property Mgt/Owner should've taken care of these things before people arrived. Due to propane issue fireplace wouldn't relight, was two days before anyone came to fix it. Third floor shower unusable as it only trickled water. Response back was there are two other showers. We made it work, but that was a lame response. Drive to Sunday River is closer to 30 minutes not 15 but okay.Overall the house is great, just needs someone to watch over the place better. Maybe setup direct access to property mgt company instead of having to get VRBO to help.

Ski Trip For The Books!

Our group has a fantastic stay at the Bethel Chalet for skiing and time with friends. This property is located just a short drive to Sunday River and offered easy access many times back and forth. When not enjoying the slopes the hot tub was a treat while watching fresh snow fall. The house was well stocked with everything needed for cooking for a large group. We will surely be back next season or sooner!

The cabin was perfect for our blended families. The three full bathrooms was incredibly helpful. The huge great room was perfect for hanging out on a cold winter day.

Visiting Maine

The home was very nice with spacious rooms and a fantastic view. Bedrooms were good. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub was great. Some of the deck boards were rotting and soft and should be replaced… toilet handle in master bathroom is broken and the refrigerator had broken shelf.. May want to have a pickup truck to get up the driveway. Overall tho it was very good! We had a great time!

Loved this home

My friends and I loved this place the moment we saw it. There were some few minor issues that we saw and immediately brought it to their attention. The toilet handle wasn’t working in the master bedroom but my boyfriend fixed it, the fridge had a lot of drawers that were cracked/ broken. The deck had rotted boards, some had holes, and some were sticking up so we had to be careful. Other than that we truly loved this house. The location was perfect, it was secluded, there were plenty of spaces to sleep for my 9 friends, and the hot tub was so nice. It was a beautiful, spacious home! I would definitely recommend this place, it was super clean inside. They even welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine <3

This home was more beautiful than advertised. It was clean and well equipped. We loved every moment. I would highly recommend the property. It's not far from Sunday River and close to Bethel. We spent the weekend skiing and this was very convenient to everything.

Beautiful ski chalet

Our family stayed at the house for a snowboarding trip. We loved the private location surrounded by woods but only a short drive to the town of Bethel or Sunday River. The house was very clean and spacious with a large open kitchen and living area where we could all hang out together after a day on the slopes. Jose, the property manager is great! Very accommodating and easy to get a hold of.

Family Stay

This was our second time at the house with family for Thanksgiving. The house is wonderful and location is great for us as we're close to family that live in Bethel. We enjoyed games at the dining room table and long walks. Looking forward to next year!

I can’t say enough good things about this home. Beautiful lot, beautiful interior, very clean, and the beds were all very comfortable. Every bathroom was clean and easily accessible from every floor of the home. Will definitely be back!

Amazing House

My friends and I stayed here for a week for our senior trip. The house was perfect for what we were looking for. The front deck with grill was great for the summer nights. The hot tub and fire pit were great for hanging out. Everything we could of asked for in a rental.

Wonderful house for multiple families skiing at Sunday River!

The house was perfect for our two families skiing at nearby Sunday River. All of the appliances were good quality and worked well. Beds were comfortable & we had more than we needed for the group. House is 20 mins away from Sunday River and is lit up with stars at night. Host had great check in & local info & even left us a bottle of wine 😊Hot tub was great for post ski relaxing. Perfect house for our trip!

Lovely ski getaway

We just left this beautiful home that we enjoyed for the past few days while we were in the area to ski Sunday River. The property was clean and kitchen well stocked in terms of pots, pans, dishware and glasses. The layout is great for families and friends. Our girls loved the bunk beds which were sturdier than some I’ve met in rentals. We loved the rain shower in the primary, though apparently water pressure is a challenge in the other bathrooms. Because of weather we were only able to use the hot tub twice but would have been in every day of it weren’t for the frigid temps. We did lose power in a wind storm with far sub zero temps, but the owner was responsive and did everything they could to help, even sending someone to the house to problem solve a generator. Ultimately power was restored and we continued to enjoy our stay. The privacy of this home worn close proximity to Sunday River can’t be beat. We would love to return someday.

Fantastic Ski Vacation Chalet

This home is beautiful, comfortable and easy to get to. Very peaceful area with beautiful views of the mountains. The star-lit nights were amazing as viewed from the beautiful large deck or screened-in porch. I have never stayed in a rental with such a well stocked kitchen which was perfect for making family meals after a full day of skiing at Sunday River. The owner was very prompt at responding when we reached out. We would surely stay at this property again. It was a perfect vacation.

Great spot! Things to note;

First and foremost, we would a absolutely stay here again. Beautiful spot, very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, great views. Would def recommend. But a few things we think should be spelled out more clearly in listing. 1) The house is 20 minutes from Sunday River ski area. 2) on a winter stay, a four wheel drive car is necessary to get up driveway. Was very icy and we only received a small amount of sand dropped on the driveway the first night. My 18yo son took a BIG spill we were grateful didn’t hurt his activity for the rest of the weekend. 3) listing mentions cable tv and Netflix. Important to note it does not include ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox. So keep this in mind if looking to watch any football games, local news, etc. 4) Decor includes a number of Christian items like crosses, references to prayers, etc. Some visitors may not appreciate. Again, a great stay and we would recommend! But there are property “quirks” that renters should be aware of.
