Just what we needed

Stayed here to Ski Sunday River. Was close enough to the mountain and town. Mark was very accommodating during our stay, even had the heat up upon our arrival in subzero weather.

Nice for our New Year’s visit

We had an issue with access instructions but once we heard back from the owner that was resolved. The property was a good size for our group, clean and well-equipped. The location was close enough to Sunday River for skiing and we watched the NYE fireworks there as well! The location was also good for access to restaurants in Bethel - and the bowling alley!

Winter get away to Sunday River

We stayed at Sunday River after Christmas through New Years. The house was wonderful - clean, plenty of room and everything you would need for a family get away. Mark was great to work with and we couldn't have been happier. Would highly recommend this home for your next Sunday river trip.

Good for hitting the slopes!

Nice place, just the basics but that is all you need! Don't forget an Aux plug for your iPhone to use the stereo.

House was perfect for skiing at Sunday River. The owner was super cool. He let us move dates to dodge the nasty weather, it turned what would have been a pretty lame vacation into a great time. Thanks!

An Enjoyable Week

Property was clean and comfortable. Use of the two car garage was a plus. Just a little weak in the kitchen utensils and cooking equipment options. I had to pick up a chefs knife at the Dollar store in town. I would book this property again.

Nice Home

The property was in a great location. The listing was accurate. Beautiful area and easy to get to the mountain. The only change I would offer to the owner would be to not put the keys for both units in one lockbox. Also, the garage was opened twice while we were there. We reached out to the owner about it but never received a callback.

Nice stay for 6 person ski weekend

The rental process and check-in were very smooth. The house was very clean and we enjoyed having the two car garage. Unloading our ski gear and bags was super easy with the garage and layout. The one downside to the rental is we didn’t read the number of beds closely enough. There are beds for six people, but the listing states they sleep 8. We did all have a place to sleep, but two people out of our 8 person group had to sleep on couches.

Easy access to Sunday River

Offered plenty of space for our family during a multi-day trip to Sunday River. Nice to have space to spread out vs. smaller on-mountain properties + still is close to restaurants, etc. in Bethel

Wow. Excellent base for outside play

This property has large mud room from the garage with closets space for guests. So fantastic having a spot to leave ski gear. Would be wonderful if there were also hooks on all the walls. But there is a closet. Bring more hangers. Mark leaves the garage remotes and it is just wonderful pulling in the garage to unload or load car. Spacious first floor. There were 6 of us. Loved that the coach had 4 recliners. It is also well stocked with spices and don’t worry if you forget extra paper towels. Mark is really quite thoughtful. Told us if there is no one checking before or after us we can arrive early/leave later. For sure we left late!! My nephew arrived early. The property is also super close to XC ski area which I would love to try again in better weather. Only 15 minutes from Sunday River. This is an excellent base. Large dining table not only nice for meals but games!! Plenty of stock of puzzles and fun things to do. Comfy beds. For sure would stay here again if are in the area

Awesome house

Super clean property, a lot of room for all 8 of us to stay and have our own space. Great location, far enough away from a lot but still close enough to the things you need incase you forgot something or wanted to go out to dinner. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for larger groups

This property was great for our group as there were plenty of sleeping arrangements and space! The house is remote enough to have privacy but still close to any destinations or stores if needed. Would highly recommend!!

Spacious, well located, easy

This 3 bedroom condo is very spacious, with a great garage space and large entry hall for storing equipment post-ski. The kitchen/dining is large, with a convenient half bath right there. We loved that the master bedroom has its own shower- very convenient. The other 2 bedrooms aren’t large but have all you need. The beds are comfortable. I would only like a little better lighting/ lamps in the house as the utilitarian overhead lack coziness, especially in bedrooms and dining/ kitchen. While there the Direct TV went on the blink, but Mark the owner was nearby and very responsive to our needs. Excellent value overall, we would stay here again

Cute ski getaway spot

location was very convenient for a week long ski trip to Sunday River. Stayed the week with 5 other people and fit comfortably. House is comfortable. Host is responsive and helpful.

Excellent Property

Great location for a weekend getaway especially for skiing Sunday River. The house is clean and cozy, we had two families in the house with no issue.

Enjoyed our stay!

Nice location and plenty of space to relax. The house was clean and well-maintained. Owner responsive and pleasant. I would have given the property 5 stars had the kitchen been better stocked and maintained (eg need for bowls/platters; knives too dull to really use for cooking/prep). Perhaps we are more cooks than others but for a modest cost, the kitchen could be much improved. (Also needs a mouse trap or two as we had some visitors eating our fruit overnight - understandable in a wooded area but some traps would be helpful).
