Family summer vaca

Bedrooms have pocket doors essentially making them suites. Plenty of dishes, pots/pans, and utensils. Plenty of outlets and USB ports for charging things. All appliances in good working order. Loved the proximity to the beach. Property: Beach and water never felt crowded. Easy access to elevators. Decent Wi-Fi, enough to get remote work done. Property is very clean and well maintained. Fitness center compact but good selection of equipment. Bailey at beach service was awesome. Sand clean off options for beach shower or a small ankle pool in the pool area to walk-through. Very convenient. Overall excellent stay, would definitely come back!

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed another stay at the Gulfgate but probably won’t request this unit again. The mold in shower was concerning and intermittent WiFi was aggravating. Did not like looking at the HVAC units all along the roof outside of the walkway of 1st floor and rug under bed in front BR has many stains.The pool was great and beach was much enjoyed, except that husband was unable to enjoy a cigar while on the beach, even when there was no one near us.Looking forward to our next trip!Thank you!

I loved having enough towels for everyone without having to wash after every shower!!! The only thing I would suggest is to replace the wooded shutters (they are sooo nice) with a blackout curtain in the master. The shutters don’t keep light out so it was very bright really early each morning. This would deter me from staying again! We will be back!

Beautiful beach decor, giant TV, well stocked kitchen, functioning ice machine and fridge - it was all just perfect! Location can’t be beat, and it did not fee overcrowded on the beach, even on Memorial Day weekend. We will be back!

Kitchen has everything you would like to use for cooking. The showers in both bathrooms are up to date. I suppose one thing that could be improved would be the balcony furniture, as while new composite furniture, it could be more comfortable with some cushions. We spent a lot of time watching the sunrises & sunsets. We also dined on the roomy balcony. The staff at Gulfgate are extremely helpful and friendly. Parking was plentiful even with the few guests we hosted. The second bedroom was spacious enough and comfortable, same with the Master bedroom. Overall, we love the Gulfgate and hope to return for another month stay next February.

Absolutely beautiful condo! Just as advertised. Beach view from the balcony was spectacular!

The condo was just right for my family! We loved the beach view from the spacious balcony. The location of the condo is close to shopping, and many restaurants. Easy access to the beach and pool. The only con was the sofa sleeper.. terribly uncomfortable, hard to sleep on. Would love to book again, but will need a better sofa sleeper to accommodate my family.

Beach Getaway

Overall this property was great. Very clean and a great location with attractions right across the street if you need a break from the beach. The beach access was nice and not crowded at all. Be prepared to bring laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, hand soap, and any condiments/coffee/coffee filters you need. Only 2 laundry pods were provided and no coffee filters or anything other than dishes. Coffee pot also needs updating as we had to manuever it around to make it turn on.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for the month of Feb. After coming to Destin for over 30 years this was our first month long visit to Destin. Thanks to the people at Destin Gulfgate we had a very nice visit. Upon our arrival we found the condo to be very clean. We were surprised when we were invited to attend a Birthday party, where almost everyone in the complex attended. That was followed up with a coffee and donuts for all of the complex renters. The get togethers helped to form a feeling of community. Everything in the condo worked. The ice maker was a surprise! We made use of the heated pool. And we could never get enough of walking along the beautiful beach.
