The cottage is cozy, welcoming, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. 20 minutes to Dreams Park in Cooperstown, 10 minutes to All Star Village in Oneonta, 7 minutes to Gilbert Lake State Park (currently open in the summer to all for beach use, kayaking, canoeing, and hiking). An established summer Baseball rental since 2013. A/C in bedrooms and livingroom


The best part is- Well behaved fur friends, 15lbs and under will be considered upon booking request for an additional fee

Duke's Cottage is one of two houses on the property, but you are far enough apart where each has the utmost privacy. From the deck, you have perfect views of the pond which has great fishing! (Fishing poles and life vests are provided). A few steps down brings you to the gas barbecue where you can grill for lunch or dinner.

Spacious and bright open living/dining/kitchen area. Well-equipped eat-in kitchen with attractive pine walls, including a microwave and a coffee maker. Living room with cable TV (Smart TV) and high speed WiFi. Bedroom 1 holds 1 queen bed, bedroom 2 hold 2 twin beds. Linens, towels, and basic soaps are provided. Washer and dryer on premises and available for guest use. Air-conditioners in each room keep the entire cottage cool and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, but what really stood out was the honesty and kindness of the homeowner and cleaning staff. After we checked out, we realized we had accidentally left behind an Apple Watch. To our relief, the cleaning staff found it right away and the homeowner quickly contacted us to arrange for its safe return. Their integrity and responsiveness went above and beyond our expectations, and it gave us so much peace of mind.The owner paid for the shipping and just thanked us for staying there! We’re so grateful for their honesty—it says so much about the kind of people you’re renting from. Not only is this a great place to stay, but you can also trust that you’re in good hands. We would absolutely book here again!

Worked perfext for our trip to CASV. JUST 13MINS away from CASV unless you have to stop and let the neighborhood cow back across the road. And if youre lucky enough to have to do that you will be asking why your kids/animals dont listen like a cow! Come on Girl is all it took!

We lived our stay here for Cooperstown baseball tournament. It’s a 10 minute drive from All-Star village and the opposite way from town so you get some well needed peace and quiet. Our son not playing in the tournament fished on the pond every day, which is right outside the back door. I also recommend fishing the beautiful nearby, they stock it with trout each year. It was perfect for a a family of four. Checkin/out and all communication was seamless. There is another house on the property about 100 yards away but we never saw anyone and it’s a really nice home. We would love to stay there again!

This property was very affordable for our trip to Dreams Park. Small but adequate, we had 2 adults/parents, big sis, and a small dog. Our son came back for a night as well. It was 20 min to Dreams Park, and closer for families at All Star Village. Be aware that you will need to bring some items with: coffee/tea (property has drip and k cup machines), laundry detergent, shampoo, body wash or soap. Only hand soap and dish soap provided. There were 4 bath towels and 1 hand towel which seemed kind of light for the week minimum stay. It was under 10 min to Dollar General to pick up what you didn't bring, so not too bad. I'm used to staying at properties that are better stocked, but seriously for the price, no regrets. Just plan ahead!

Dingers and Bluegill

The property is exactly as shown. When I was not watching my kid play baseball you could find me sitting by the Pond fishing...it was so quiet and peaceful. Also the bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. My only regrets were my daughter wasn't with us and I didn't have time to cook a steak and eat it on the deck.

Great place spend a week for baseball!!

Joe was great, check in/out process was the easiest we’ve ever had. Dukes Pond is just as described, clean and cozy getaway. Great place to go relax after watching baseball all day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, my daughter loved catching lizards at the pond as well!! I’d highly recommend Dukes Pond

Perfect Place to Stay for All Star Village

Nice small place to eat and sleep while going to All Star Village games. Very easy and short drive to All Star Village. We enjoyed catching fish in the pond during our spare time. The owner was very easy to contact and ask questions.

Good Spot

Joe's place was perfect for what we needed. Our son was playing at All Star Village and it was a short and easy drive. We spent most of our time at the Ball Park, but was nice to be able to come back to the cottage and relax in between games and at the end of the day. The pond is also great for fishing - and Gilbert Lake State park is a nice spot as well!

Convenient to ASV

Property was as advertised. Clean and convenient to ASV baseball. It was quiet at night, the window AC units cooled it down quickly after a few hot days. Has some character and was a great stay for the baseball tournament.

Good retreat spot quite,and peaceful. Nice pond for fishing and not far from Cooperstown Dream Park. Grandson love the freshwater fishing with his papa.House relatively clean .

Peaceful and beautiful area

The property manager was extremely responsive. The pond was fun to fish and the area is peaceful. There were a few subtle cleaning issues and the manager was open to correcting these.

Quiet Retreat

The property was clean, quiet and very enjoyable. The communications with the owners were prompt and proactive without any issues. This was well situated for Cooperstown baseball tournaments.

Fun relaxing retreat

We had a baseball tournament at Cooperstown. This was a great secluded location. The fishing pond was so much fun! Clean and perfect for a weekend trip. Appreciate the communication with the owner as well!

Nice hideaway

The property is a very quaint home that’s about 20 minutes from Dreamspark. 20 min is not bad but when you’re traveling the country side in the mountains at night it can be a bit much. Some nights going to and coming from the park were foggy and the deer were very plentiful so be careful. Also the phone service isn’t great but you do have access to Wi-Fi. The bedrooms don’t have televisions which were a bummer for us because my son did come back a few nights to stay with us and the only television available was in the living room which was taken over by the toddlers. There is another cabin on the property but we never saw the other family unless they were coming or going so no worries about neighbors. They also have a large 17 foot deep pond on the property and provide fishing gear. My son enjoyed that part the most and stayed out there for hours and caught plenty of fish. It’s also a plus to have washer and dryer on the premises. The owner is VERY responsive. Anytime I had a question he responded right away. If you book this property you’ll enjoy your stay and can relax between games.

Peaceful stay in a secluded area

The property is located 20 minutes from Cooperstown, nicely maintained with its own fishing pond. Highly recommended if you are participating in the Cooperstown tournaments or if you just want a quiet getaway.
