Our second stay was as great as the first. Beautiful house and yard, great for our dog, and very close to Hamilton College so we can visit our daughter. Communication was also great; the hosts are very accommodating.

Hamilton College Family Weekend

We had a lovely stay at this farmhouse. Lots of room for our family of 4 and our dog, who loved the fenced in area to run around in. Beautiful area for a great home base for visiting our daughter at Hamilton College. Will definitely stay again.

Colgate Graduation

We had a wonderful three night stay at Bella Cuccina with another couple. We were in town for our daughters' graduation at Colgate University. The lovely property is about 15 minutes from Hamilton and we found it to be convenient for the back and forths during the weekend. Tony was available and always quick to respond to any of our questions and eager to make our stay comfortable and relaxed. We hope to be back to visit and would stay at Bella Cuccina again.

Beautiful, peaceful stay

My family enjoyed the peaceful and spacious home set on a large property with a beautiful barn. It was the perfect retreat while attending a college graduation. We appreciated the coffee and creamers for our mornings. We were able to spread out in the home and each have our own space to work.

We were two families with dogs visiting our Hamilton College daughters for a double-header lacrosse weekend. Bella Cucina and Tony Lupino made it an easy in/out and the house accommodated us nicely. Thank you Tony!

Taste of farm life…

We spent two nights with our dogs. It was a beautiful property very picturesque. Our dogs loved the yard and kennel. After a couple days of hiking and a lot of leash walking they enjoyed being able to run free in the fenced yard. The house had a great layout with lots of space.

Perfect rental

This is our 2nd time staying here and again had a great experience! House was immaculately clean, beautiful, pristine. Big first floor master bed and bath, nice dining room, clean kitchen with stocked amenities. Yard and views are amazing too. Hosts are responsive and lovely. Truly memorable Colgate grad weekend! Recommend this house 100%!

Clean, well-stocked, spacious home on beautiful property

Everything was great, exactly as advertised. Central A/C and cold drinks waiting for us in the fridge were very appreciated as we were there during 90+ degree heat! Home was clean, kitchen was well-stocked and the setting is beautiful. Great place for our family during our daughter’s graduation weekend at Colgate. Thanks!

Overall, Bella Cucina is a nice place and met our needs for the long weekend. Plenty of room, quiet and away from it all, easy communication with owner, very clean. It’s also in a good location to nearby colleges and very cute towns. I found the space lacking personality, blank walls, no outdoor or porch furniture (there’s great outside space!) and a whole room that has zero furniture. This didn’t get in the way of our stay but I was thinking there could be more to the house.

Excellent, spacious, privately-set property

This is a large house, nice and nearly new in appearance, on a secluded acreage relatively convenient to Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. Happened to meet owner when we pulled up, and he's a great guy, very friendly, even gifted us some of his nice Italian white wine and a few bottles of his small company's excellent marinara sauce. Place was well equipped and nicely stocked with essentials, no problems at all. Only small suggestions would be bedside lamps in bedrooms, and a couple of inexpensive nightstand lit clocks/alarms. A lovely time was had by all.

Good rental propery

Nice property. Would have been better with more than dead basic rental furnishings (needs more bath towels, bed blankets/quilts, tissues, anything at all on the walls) but the kitchen is stocked and the beds are comfortable. I wish there was another queen bed - upgrade one of the doubles or furnish the completely empty upstairs room - but we knew what we were getting into. Place is big and bright even in the rain and had great views despite bad weather. We enjoyed our stay, thanks

Beautiful Property

Beautiful setting, spacious home, great for dogs

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to the Lupinos and their super place. The home is spacious and full of light, the kitchen is enormous and well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the location is convenient (we used it as a home base for spending time at Hamilton College -- a 13-minute drive away), and the hosts are responsive, kind, and generous. But the star here is the incredible setting. The photos do not do it justice. The views across the valley are spectacular; the farmstead grounds are gorgeous and fun to explore (so many interesting fruit trees and a hidden little pond) ; and the fenced-in dog yard is much bigger than it would appear in these photos -- our dog was so happy she could run around in a big, clean, grassy space. And please check out Tony's Bella Cucina restaurant, a traditional Italian place that brought back memories of childhood. We'll be back!

This was the perfect place to stay when visiting our son at Hamilton College. It's in a lovely setting. It's an easy house to use. Everything was clean and accessible. We brought our 11 pound dog with us and he was happy as well.

We can make recommendations for places to dine at or if available I would prepare a meal for you at the house. We are both still working in the hospitality industry. I teach culinary at SUNY Morrisville and my wife works at Hamilton College in dining services.
