Este hermoso apartamento está situado en una casa de dos plantas situada en una gran propiedad, ubicada en la tranquila calle Hampshire, a sólo 3 minutos a pie de la playa en el borde de las aguas turquesas del mar de Bahamas azul en Cable Beach en Nassau, Bahamas. Los propietarios Armin y Vernice Wernli, viven en las instalaciones.

Usted puede alquilar el hermoso, espacioso, apartamento independiente de 2 dormitorios en una semana, a partir de las unidades de los sábados.
Está totalmente climatizado, cuenta con una moderna cocina con todos los electrodomésticos (con lavavajillas), comedor, sala de estar con TV grande. Servicio de cable, teléfono e Internet de banda ancha inalámbrica están a su disposición de forma gratuita.

Home Away From Home

My husband and I enjoyed the tranquilly of the cottage. The facilities were nice and homey, and our hosts were very congenial and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here.

Home away from home.

Vernece and Armin were fantastic hosts - very friendly and helpful. Backyard pool and patio were wonderful. Location was excellent - just a short walk to the beach, commercial area and bus stop. Highly recommend!

Great location, close to groceries, restaurants, and beach. Bus stops nearby were very helpful. Nice quiet well kept neighborhood. Loved the house and pool and friendly hosts. Items from their bakery were delicious. A great stay!!

Pleasant and comfortable accomadation

Very nice and comfortable accomodation in a quiet area. With supermarket and restaurans on walking distance. Vernice and Armin are very kind hosts and have a very good sense to ensure privacy but are available in case of any need for support.

Great location!

Vernice and Armin are lovely and welcoming. The location is great, walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants. Plenty of space in the apartment and the outdoor area is great. We loved the pool! And enjoyed the pastries from their store, the eclairs are fantastic. :)

The Right Place

Well maintained, comfortable apartment, and desired location. Cable Beach, restaurants, grocery shopping, and the Original Swiss Pastry shop are all within a few blocks from the apartment. Hosts Armin and Vernice were most helpful during our two week stay. I would definitely recommend staying there. Thanks for the wonderful pastries!!

Great staycation

We had a great time. Our hosts were practically invisible despite actually living next to the property. We hardly ever saw them, although that’s not surprising as they run the best cake shop and bakery on the island. The property is comfortable and needs for nothing. Enjoyed the privacy and pool. Would recommend this staycation for everyone,

Beautiful Bahamian Getaway

We stayed in this home for a week while on vacation with our college-age kids. There was plenty of room for our family of six and the location was perfect, with several restaurants within walking distance. The nearby beach was beautiful and there was also a grocery store close by. Having our own pool was the best! The property hosts made our stay comfortable and easy to check in and out. Armin even brought us some delicious treats from their bakery. We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful experience!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful, clean and very near many conveniences that enhanced our experience. Armin and Vernice are superb hosts who made us feel welcome and valued guests. Vernice shared many helpful tips with us on getting around and places to go. We enjoyed the treats from their bakery, that was a wonderful surprise! If we travel back to the Bahamas in the future this will be our first choice for accommodations. Thank you Vernice and Armin!

Perfect Home Away from Home

This location is perfect, just one block off Bay Street that runs most of the island length and gets you to the majority of attractions. The Cable Beach access is also nearby, a variety of restaurants (Starbucks), grocery store, liquor outlets, etc. The pool is terrific and a great way to cool off after a busy day of sight seeing. The condo itself is well equipped and beautifully decorated. Thank you Vernice and Armin you are the BEST hosts! We hope to return some day.

Lovely place in Cable Beach

We stayed a week at Armin and Vernice's place and really loved it! Our goal was to relax and just chill after a tough winter. We spent much time hanging out at the pool and I swam many mornings at dawn and watched the sun come up. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away as were grocery stores, restaurants and most important, the pastry shop owned by Armin and Vernice was a 4 minute walk from the house. Vernice treated us the first day to a sampling of their pastries and they were quite wonderful. They were wonderful hosts and we would go back there in a minute.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. My husband and I and 7 year old son. Home owners were incredible. Always a message away for anything we needed which wasn’t much at all. The house has everything you need as described. The pool was fantastic for late afternoons and evenings. Their pastry shop has some incredible desserts as well!! Thank you so much Vernice and Armin for welcoming us into your home!! We will be back!!!

Excellent property with nice hosts

We stayed one week with our family of five (children aged 9-14). The property was spotless, functional and secure. The outside pool area is beautiful, spacious and private and is a big bonus. Armin and Vernice are very nice and easy to reach for any questions. Although it is possible to reach Cable beach easily and restaurants and grocery store are nearby, we recommend renting a car to explore other beaches such as Cabbage beach on Paradise Island, or Jaw's beach. The property is centrally located on the island. Overall an excellent rental and very much recommended.

Great place for family

We stayed at Armin and Vernice’s wonderful house between Christmas and New Year’s. It was my husband and I and our two teenagers. The house was very clean and has all the amenities you would need. It was walking distance to the beach, some good restaurants in the town, and the Baha Mar resort where we spent a day at the water park and ate in some of the restaurants. Pool is beautiful and although cold I still enjoyed. Vernice was extremely responsive to any questions and even took us on a little sightseeing tour of the island forts. Really went above and beyond for us. We had lots of travel woes trying to get there and a few days of rain but was a win-win in the end as we all had a great time!

Perfect escape

Armin’s home is a fantastic property. We (husband and daughter 7) came for American Thanksgiving. Armin was kind and friendly, the property spacious and clean, and walkable. We walked to the beach and used the private pool. It is also a quick walk to the jitney into Nassau where we spent a morning. Quick taxi ride to the Fish Fry is about $16. We also did two boat tours with Flying Cloud, which will pick up at Sandals which a 4 minute walk. We loved getting breakfast at Armin’s bakery and enjoyed several cakes that he brought us one evening. Local restaurants are mostly fast food but we had a great evening at Crusty’s Cable Beach location (only serves burgers and apps at this location, Fish Fry location has longer menu) and Tonino’s. We felt very much at home and really enjoyed our stay. If we come back to Nassau, we will definitely be staying here again.

Great Choice

Ditto to all the reviews ahead of this one: welcoming hosts (generous with bakery treats), nice location for walking or driving (we liked the convenience of doing both), unit is very nice (and is larger than photos make it appear) and pool/patio area (with gas grill) provides a nice option to lay low. Though we didn’t use it, the hosts brought a ping pong table out on a second covered patio area as well. We visited near the holiday and the holiday decorations added to the ambience. We also recommend the same restaurants as others (Social House for sushi, Meze Grill for Greek, Wok n Roll for Chinese and, of course, the Original Swiss Pastry Shop for sweets and lunch patties. The value of this rental balanced nicely with options for resort day passes (which made the college kids happy) or excursions (we passed on as the weather wasn’t the best) and local beaches/exploration (made me happy). If you aren’t into a big resort, stay here!

Amazing vacation in the Bahamas!!

We spent 8 days in the beautiful apartment of Armin and Vernice. This place is just perfect. First there was a driver waiting for us at the airport. Isn't it amazing? Armin arranged everything! We were looking for a clean, spacious and quiet rental. We got exactly what we wanted. Every morning we had breakfast on the terrace in the backyard and then we would go to the beach (most beautiful beach I've ever seen!) or do activities. The place is close to 2 groceries, many liquor stores ;) and restaurants. It was also very easy to go downtown Nassau as the bus stop is just on the corner of the street. We definitely recommend this place. The owner and his wife are lovery and very nice people. We also got engaged in the apartment!!! So we might go back for our honeymoon!

Lovely home in Cable Beach

We spent a week at Armin and Vernice’s lovely unit. They were very thoughtful and considerate. Our kids (ages 13, 10, 8) enjoyed the swimming pool and used it almost daily. Their bakery is within walking distance and we enjoyed their delicious baked goods. Their unit is conveniently located to the grocery store, restaurants, cable beach, Baha Bay at Baha Mar and the jitney stop. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable and the unit comes with beach chairs, towels and some pool toys. We did rent a car for convenience, and used it to explore other parts of the island. But opted to take the jitney when we needed to go into downtown Nassau. Overall I highly recommend staying at Armin and Vernice’s home. We enjoyed being away from the crowds in downtown Nassau and Paradise Island because of the cruise ships docking on a regular basis. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood with all the convenience needed.

Had an amazing stay at Armin and Vernice’s home. Perfect location across the street from Cable Beach

Our family was looking for a nice home near Cable Beach in a safe area and found this gem. Armin and Vernice’s home was beyond our expectations. Armin was always quick to answer any questions or give any suggestions. Got to spend some time with Armin and talk to him and even gave us a ride back to airport at the end our stay. House is very secure, clean, and convenient. Nice updated home within a 5 min walk to Cable Beach. You can access Cable Beach near Sandals resort where the Cable Manor apartments are or in the other direction right next to papa johns and menchies yogurt. We enjoyed having our own pool, which our son enjoyed very much. Their house is a quick walk to the grocery store, Starbucks, and some restaurants. You can catch the Jitney bus right across the street on Bay Street. Make sure you take Bus 10 which will take you along Bay Street all the way downtown. Goodman Bay is a short bus ride that has a nice public beach we enjoyed. I highly recommend staying with Armin and Vernice and hope we can come back to visit with them again. Great vacation!!

Fantastic Vacation Home

This home is the perfect vacation rental. Everything was clean and the owners, Vernice and Armin, thought of everything! It was even better than the pictures! There were four of us (two couples) and we had the best time in the Bahamas. The private pool was our favorite part, it was so nice to jump in whenever you wanted and relax on the patio. The neighborhood is in a great location, safe, minutes from the beach and an easy bus ride to practically anywhere. Armin is a fantastic pastry chef and we had a lovely “last night” on the patio with wine and good friends. The next day was our flight home. We had our return flight get canceled late in the evening, around 9:30pm. We got no help from the Airlines (American), but we called Vernice and she and Armin not only came and picked us and our luggage up from the airport, but they helped us located a last minute place to stay for the next two days until we could get a flight out. They went so above and beyond on so many things, I am so happy we chose their rental. We could not have asked for a better place to stay or better people to rent from. The morning we were headed back to the airport Vernice again helped us out, drove us to the airport and made sure we got out ok. Thank you Vernice and Armin, you guys are the best!

Just an all around awesome experience!

Wow, where to begin? It was about 2 years ago, right prior to COVID that I had booked my kids and I a week at Armin's property. Unfortunately I had to cancel shortly before and Armin was gracious enough to fully refund my stay, he never had to do this! Right then, I knew that once things started to settle that I would eventually book another stay here and I am so glad that I did. My two kids, ages 15 and 18 stayed here for just under a week and the entire experience was better than I could have imagined. First, Armin is just a great host, super helpful, attentive and responsive. When you are out of your country, this sort of friendship is important, and I really appreciated that about our stay. The property is really nice, we had our own pool for the week which was so nice to start my morning with a cup of coffee. Even more, within just a few minute walk of the house is access to his great bakery, coffee, a market for groceries, restaurants and the most beautiful white sand, turquoise water beach. All around, our trip was just perfect. Armin, the house and amenities are just wonderful. And only a 10 minute taxi to/from the airport(which Armin helped me to schedule). Armin, we will be back, and to all reading this, you wont be disappointed!

Awesome stay for a family of 4!

We had an amazing stay at Vernice and Armin's place. The location is GREAT - 10 min walk to Cable beach, 10 min walk to Baha Bay water park, and lots of restaurants and grocery store nearby. Our favorite restaurant was Social house - we went twice! Meze Grill is also delicious. The apartment was perfect for a family of four (kids ages 9 and 12)- it was quiet, secure and we had the pool to ourselves. The kitchen was great for having breakfast before our daily adventures. The apartment is clean and the listing is accurate on what is provided. FYI, there is laundry and washer that needs $1.50 each in quarters to operate (we got change at Armin's bakery - Original Swiss bakery). I'd like thank Armin and Vernice for their hospitality and kindness - they really go above and beyond. Vernice moved our wet clothes to a covered area when it looked like it was about to rain. My little one had a cold and Vernice checked it to make sure she was comfortable. And Armin surprised us with a box of DELICIOUS pastries from his bakery - such a nice gesture and again, so delicious (we went to the bakery almost every morning as well). They also gave us great recommendations - we loved Oh Andros at the Fish Fry. We also highly recommend Mr. Anthony (nickname, "JP") as a taxi driver - Vernice shared his contact information and we used his taxi services almost everyday he was there. His pricing was always lower than other taxi drivers, he is prompt and great with WhatsApp communication. In summary, you can't beat this place - we looked at hotel rooms at the Baha Mar and Atlantis and this is literally a fraction of the cost. We did day passes at both waterparks, as well as an excursion to Rose Island to see the swimming pigs, and I think that this apartment + those day excursions made for a perfect trip. Thank you Vernice and Armin!!

Perfect home away from home!!!

What an amazing stay!! This property is a perfect home away from home. Armin and Vernice were so welcoming and the bests hosts we have encountered in all our vrbo stays. Truly wonderful people. The property is beautiful, super clean, and in a great location. Our family of 4 which includes a 15 and 17 year old loved our stay. The private pool was relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed spending time outside laying out and in our own private oasis. The house is gated which is nice because it felt very secure. The two rooms worked perfect for us. The kids had their own beds and we had our own bedroom. The house is really pretty and has everything you need. It's also very very clean. We like to cook so my husband enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. And the location doesn't get much better. You can walk to Cable Beach which we did at sunrise and sunsets since its a quick 5 min walk. We enjoyed one of our days on the beach as well. Beautiful water and beach with a cute pier. The Sandals resort is right there so you also have options for excursions they offer on the beach. There are many dining options including Starbucks and a grocery store, all walkable which were very handy. We also walked to the Baha-Mar resort one of the days. We got day passes to the waterpark. It was about a 10-12 min easy walk. I noticed a bus very close to the property but didn't look into where it went. Armin and Vernice were there if you needed anything and were super kind, good people. It's great to have them especially in another country you are not familiar with. Vernice helped us get a last min taxi to the airport after ours didn't show up. Mr Cunningham showed up quickly and was equally as kind and helpful. Armin was kind enough to bring us delicious treats from his bakery (Original Swiss Sweet Shop) which is a few mins away. They were so good!! A must have!! All and all a wonderful stay. We hope to be back and enjoy this property again!! It was absolutely perfect!!
