Escape to Tatum Retreat, a fully remodeled 8-bedroom, 3-bath estate in the heart of Scottsdale. Designed for large groups, golf trips, bachelor/bachelorette parties, family vacations, and corporate retreats, this private estate sleeps up to 26 guests across 14+ beds and features a resort-style backyard, private theater, and full ScottsdaleStays support.

The Space

Step into a spacious, open-concept living area with comfortable seating and a large 2nd living room area. The fully stocked kitchen includes a Keurig and drip coffee maker, perfect for group meals. Every bedroom features memory foam mattresses and a TV, ensuring comfort for all guests. Washer/dryer, linens, and toiletries are provided for convenience.

Very hard hosting guests that are so young and with little if any travel experience. We let you stay in a 1.2 million dollar estate (ver few could ever afford) for the same nightly rate of a 200’ hotel room in this very coveted area (Westin / Hyatt). But you rate us on the sofa pillows? What a winner!! Please stay elsewhere the next time…life is too short to deal with people like you! Scottsdalestays

Bernadette Well aware this was your very first time renting a spacious 3000 foot million dollar home for less than a simple 200 foot hotel room at The Westin / Fairmont Princess in this area but all you had to do was advise customer service as noted on the wall and your check in letter as we have over a dozen staff members that could have helped you with the very small issues caused by your large group clogging the disposal or ripping the cabinet doors off the cabinets. All these items were fine when you checked in? so glad everyone had a good time! Scottsdalestays .

Perfect for our Men’s golf trip

Great location for a Golf Trip, all the best courses are close and easy to get too. The accommodations were excellent, with comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, ROKU TV, and nice outdoor space. We didn’t use the pool but the hot tub was great for sore muscles after golf. I would definitely recommend this rental for anyone looking to travel to Scottsdale.

Jim’s group was a perfect fit for our 6 bedroom spacious private house….12 adult golfers all getting their own beds for about the same rate as a 200’ hotel room enjoying the best area of Scottsdale for golf, dining and events. the house is more than accommodating for a larger group with 13 beds. Everyone was comfortable and the location is easily accessible to local golf courses, restaurants, and night time entertainment. 2nd year staying here and looking forward to future trips!

Boys Weekend

Location is excellent. 20minutes to most places.Spacious and kitchen amenities are plentiful (plates cups, 2nd beverage fridge). Lots of rooms and beds. And TV’s in every room! Lots of towels.Would be great if there was one more bathroom for larger groups. Otherwise a perfect place to hang out.

My sister's and I get away every year for a sisters week where we just hang out and play games, etc. this place fit the criteria that each sister put in as for choosing a place to stay. Clean, quiet neighborhood, near stores and plenty of room.

Truly amazing how stupid some people can be! Gets a million dollar home during the busiest week of the year due to the largest golf tournament in the world being ten minutes away. Pays $125/room nightly ($995/night) when every resort hotel room in this area he could never possible ever afford was $1000-$1500/night then craps on the owner that made his whole vacation even possible. Pure stupidity in its finest form.

The kitchen only had two bowls, no mixing bowls bowls, the sheet pans were cheap and old. The grill would not start, and was not clean. They ask you to leaveIt renter ready but only have a mop and a broom that is very small and does not sweep. On top of that they are trying to charge the insurance I bought for cracked granite behind the sink that had clearly been there for a while. Would not recommend renting with this company. Out of all the VRBO I have used across the country this was the worse. Other call outs, all beds were completely hard, towel rack was loose from the wall, kitchen cabinet was broken and barely attached, the only tub plug did not work and had to use a wash cloth to plug to bath small child, large amount of mildew around the tub was visible. Would recommend deep cleaning and fixing broken issues before renting.

Regarding the granite behind the sink, it was inspected prior to your stay and was in perfect condition. Our full-time ScottsdaleStays service team is always available to provide anything guests may need, from kitchen items to cleaning support, and could have addressed most of the concerns you mentioned if we had been notified during your stay. It’s also important to highlight the value: you stayed in a $1.2 million estate with resort-style amenities — pool, hot tub, billiards, and more — for roughly the same nightly rate as a single hotel room at the Westin just a mile away. That combination of space, privacy, and amenities is rarely available anywhere else. We take all maintenance and cleanliness feedback seriously and will continue to improve the property wherever possible. Fun weekend

House had all the basics and plenty of space. It’s not perfect but clean and functional.

Eight man golf group

House is perfect for our anual golf trip for 8 guys. Lots of room and lots of beds. Was clean and well kept. Only thing missing was a lockable closet for Mitch when he's had too many martinis.
