Just minutes from the Village of Eastsound, this west-facing high bank waterfront home enjoys sunsets year-round. Recently completed, Eagle Bluff Retreat offers a King bed master suite with ensuite bathroom providing a large stall shower and double vanity. The second bedroom also features a queen bed and has a nearby second bathroom with tub/shower combination for convenience. Additional bedroom provides a full bed all adding up to comfortable sleeping accommodation for 6 guests.

The outdoor covered porch with gas BBQ will provide a wonderful space to watch the bald eagles, and marine activity. any season of the year. The well-appointed kitchen will provide the chef with everything necessary to create great meals. This new home's open floor plan combines the living and dining areas, along with vaulted ceilings, to provide light and bright spaces for comfortable for everyone who will enjoy Eagle Bluff.

A real feature of this home is Crescent Beach, one of the Island’s largest public beaches which is just a short distance away. Located just two miles from Eastsound Village and only 5 miles from Moran State Park and Rosario Resort, this home provides a great location for enjoying everything Orcas Island has to offer.

The view was amazing! The house was very clean and well stocked. Everything was in good condition and the beds and living room furniture were comfortable. Outdoor seating was a great for enjoying the view. It was very peaceful and quiet, while also a quick easy drive into Eastsound. It was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again.

THE VIEW! The yard was perfect, my three year old could run around to her heart's content, we ate out on the porch and just stared at the water and the sunset. The house is great, functional and comfortable and worked great for us. The location was an easy jaunt into Eastsound. I would absolutely stay here again.

Eagle’s Nest Family Retreat

Fantastic location on the water and just a few minutes to Eastsound. Eagles, young & adults patrolling the cliffs and coves, ducks in formation, random Orcas, not to mention starfish, crabs and other wildlife kept kids and adults entertained. The house was comfortable, accommodating, and equipped for our family. An amazing time was had by all!

A Bit of Heaven

Eagle Bluff’s location could not have been better. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities you would need. The view was amazing! Sitting on the covered porch looking out onto the water, with the mountains and islands in the distance was breathtaking

Orcas Island Thanksgiving

The home was wonderful and the location was phenomenal. The view was spectacular and the property peaceful and relaxing. Everything was as described and worked perfectly. Both adult kids had their own room and a nice bathroom. The main bedroom/bath suite was roomy and well planned. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal without issue. The location to Eastsound was great too. I would highly recommend this home and Orcas Island.

We enjoyed 6 days at Eagle Bluff. It's a very nice newer 3 bedroom house. Large Kitchen with all the amenities needed. The King bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. Only complaint was there were no lounge chairs to put in the yard to sit/lay and enjoy the wonderful view of the water. They did had a large dining table and chairs on the porch and two porch chairs to use.

Nice and quiet location

This house was perfect for our trip to Orcas Island. The view was beautiful from the back deck overlooking the water. The kitchen was well stocked with various items that you need for cooking meals. The travel size toiletries was a great touch. The only negative that I have isn't for the property but the Island itself. The house is about 1.5 miles from Eastsound and it is a nice walk, which we did many times during our week stay. However, it would be nice if there was a trail or sidewalk outside of town so you don't end up walking on the side of the road which could get busy with the only gas station located on that road. But overall a great house!

Loved It

In addition to all the fun things to do on and around Orcas Island, we enjoyed playing games on the covered deck with a beautiful ocean view and frequent visits from eagles. Clean, comfortable house, communication from property manager was timely and easy.

Owner issues

The property and location were great. The owner lives next door and made several visits to our vrbo to do landscaping and repairs during our stay. At one point he came over to retrieve tools and told us he thought we would be gone all day so he could work on the home. No respect for our privacy. beware if you book this property in the future.

Orcas relaxation

Beautiful place with everything you need including games and puzzles. Close to Moran State Park and Eastsound. Had a great time in spite of the weather.

As good as it gets -- seriously!

This place is superb: a well-designed 3-bedroom private home on a sizeable property, with a stunning view. Orcas is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, but no matter how great the scenery was on each of our day trips, we were delighted to come home to this extremely comfortable rental, and dine on our porch looking at 180 degrees of aaaah! A wonderful week--hard to leave.

Wonderful place to stay!

This is a lovely place to stay. Well laid out, plenty of room, great kitchen, and a view not to be missed. Coming in the winter as we did, we missed the first day as there was no power due to a storm. But we had such a lovely time, and the property manager was in contact repeatedly to let us know what was going on. I can't wait to return in the summer.

Great time on Orcas Island!

House was safe, clean, and comfortable with an amazing view. The grill was great and the fire pit was even better! There was wood available onsite but some of it was wet. No bother. We figured it out. Compared to other places I have rented, kitchen essentials were average. No oils or condiments.( I read another review prior to my visit so I was prepared.) I would plan a few meals out in town. Support the locals. There is a small gas station/ market walking distance from the house and a bigger grocery 5 minutes away if needed. The restaurants were also great and minutes away.

Had all we needed

We had an amazing time at this property and exploring the island. We wanted a restful retreat and that’s just what we got. The home had everything we needed and was VERY clean. Our days out on the deck were tranquil. We honeymooned on this island 33 years ago and enjoyed doing some of the things we did then. We will stay here again the next time we come.

Quiet getaway

We rented this property a short distance from Eastsound. It is very clean and the kitchen is only stocked with utensils, glassware, dishes, pots and pans. Be sure to bring condiments if you plan on cooking. Very peaceful and private.

Peaceful getaway

We had a great time spending the week exploring Moran state park and the communities on Orcas Island. This home is near to activities, provided amazing sunsets over the water and hills, and completely met our expectations of a clean home to relax and read in for a week long retreat.

Beautiful view and a quiet neighborhood

The owner was gracious enough to let us move our rental period from May to July (with the typical price increase for the higher demand time period). The house was spotless and the spot beautiful and private. If we return to Orcas island, we would he happy to stay here again!

Fantastic home and location

This is a lovely home, with an amazing view. We were so excited when we arrived to actually see that what the pictures showed was accurate! The house was very comfortable for the 4 of us and we felt the kitchen was well equipped with dishes, glassware, etc…however, a larger serving platter and salad bowl might be a nice addition. The beds were really comfy, the linens were a very nice quality and we loved the open floor plan!We also loved how close the house was to Eastsound and how easy it was to access all parts of the island. The owners did an outstanding job with this place and it’s location. We will all miss looking out and seeing the “sound”, the village and the surrounding hills every day… it’s a truly magical view.
