Westwinds, paradise and heaven all rolled into one

3/17/2025: Treasure Island is recovering from the devastation caused by hurricanes Helene and Milton last year, but we are still the perfect destination. AS OF THIS DATE< THERE IS NO WORKING ELEVATOR.Our gorgeous luxury non-smoking condo is a one bedroom/one bath with 1 King bed. Westwinds condominiums are conveniently located across the street from the beach and the intracoastal waterway in our backyard, restaurants and shopping. Publix Grocery and Walgreens are 2 blocks away. Our unit is on the second floor. The complex consists of 36 units and three floors.
Everything in the unit is up to date and in great condition, appliances, furniture, dishes, linens, everything. Free washer and dryer available in the unit. You will also have one free assigned/reserved under cover parking space. A fully equipped kitchen offers you name brand stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge/freezer and stove with oven. Granite counter tops and solid wood cabinets.
the bedroom includes 1 king size bed, large spacious closets, ample dresser drawers and a flat screen TV. One in bedroom and one in living room.
The bathroom offers a full size single sink, full size mirror, plenty of drawers and counter space. Full size bathtub with shower.
Living room has a full size couch and a 55" flat screen TV with free cable. Walk across the street at the dedicated crossing with your complimentary beach chairs, cooler and towels and enjoy the white sands on our pristine beach. Take in one of a kind sunsets.
Relax and enjoy your own cooking in the backyard on the intra-coastal on one of the 2 grills nestled in a spacious area of tables and chairs. Enjoy a spectacular sunrise while watching the dolphins playing or catch fish off one of the 3 docks on the water, just bring your pole. Chaise lounges for relaxation and sunbathing are also in the backyard. Cool off with a swim in our heated pool.

Graduation trip

We took our oldest granddaughter to Florida as a graduation present. Enjoyed the property both inside and out.Most places we ate were within walking distance.Probably the most spacious beach on Treasure Island.

Relaxing

The location was great, we did not have a car and everything was within a 10 min walking distance. The unit was just as pictured and super clean. The back patio/pool area was nice place to enjoy morning coffee and my husband enjoyed the docks to fish from! We will definitely be back!

5 star location!!

Wonderful stay. Perfect location just across the street from the beach with convenient cross walk in front of property to beach. Close to Publix grocery store as well as several restaurants. There was a draining issue in the tub, but immediately after reaching out to owner they responded and had someone over very quickly to fix the issue. We loved our stay and want to make an annual tradition for our family.

The property was exactly as advertised. Short walk to the beach and the Publix, really lots to do around there. Watching the sun rise in the mornings and then the sunsets on the beach were an added plus.

Our Treasure Island Getaway

My husband and I spent 6 days at Westwinds and it was absolutely wonderful. The condo is very warm and inviting and decorated so beautifully - you definitely know you are at the beach. We enjoyed the pool and common area in the back. It was very peaceful and thoroughly enjoyed watching the dolphins swim in the waterway both morning and early evening. The owners are very accommodating and responsive. We definitely recommend this property and we plan to come back for another visit!

Sparkling clean and perfect location

This is a fantastic property perfectly situated between the beach and the waterway, close to shopping and restaurants as well as public transportation. The condo was spotless, with thoughtful touches like beach chairs and coffee, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Don't miss the morning sunrise on the patio, where you'll often see dolphins at play. Communication with Linda was outstanding and immediate. Highly recommend this property - and we'll be booking again.

Great location!

This property was in a great location, the beach was across the street, lots of things nearby, and was very clean. The only thing I would change was the bed. It was very uncomfortable and I ended up sleeping on the couch. My husband also had a difficult time sleeping on it. The rest of our stay was great and we enjoyed the time spent here.

Home Away from Home

Several others have written in the property log that this was a place that feels comfortable from the moment you arrive. So true. We traveled from Minnesota to visit my Mom after a year of COVID quarantine. We needed a place to bring her because we still are not allowed at her complex. We had a lovely picnic out back on the inter coastal. Lots of comfy private niches to gather for food, fun and conversation. Other times we retreated to the beautifully appointed family living area in our unit. Loved our stay. Will stay here next time we are in the area. (Great covered parking is another great plus)

Great Apartment and Location

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location was great, on the intercoastal, across the street from the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Condo was clean and convenient. We plan to visit again next year!

Awesome stay

My partner and I stayed here on a short business/work trip. The place exceeded our expectations! It is very cute, clean and has everything you need for your stay. Dave and Linda were very easy to connect with for our concerns as needed. We would definitely come here again, and recommend this place to others!

Wonderful Beach Getaway

It was a wonderful trip. The location is a nice proximity to the beaches, the nightlife of Tampa/St. Pete, and stores nearby. The condo was clean with the needed amenities plus having beach chairs and other extras made it a home away from home. We would definitely love to come back!
