The cottage was wonderfully newly remodeled, very comfortable and very clean! The poolside was peaceful for morning coffee, location to beach and restaurants within walking distance was a huge plus

Just what we needed!

We were looking for a very affordable, yet comfortable place to stay during our quick trip to Florida and that is just what we got! The house was cozy and comfortable for our 3-night stay. Our kids loved the pool and watching the geckos; the beach was a very short walk away. The owner was extremely responsive and very friendly. Overall, we were very pleased!

a charming retreat

This is a lovely small apartment on Madeira Beach, just across the street from the beach. Spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet, with a charming pool area. Possibly the best feature are the couple who manage the property, who live right next door. She maintains beautiful flowers all around the property, and he makes sure that all is done right. And they both are just a joy to chat with. This will be a place that we will return to!

Cottage 23 is very comfortable and private.

We liked the privacy since the sidewalk does not go by the door and it is far from the road. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. Dave the manager and Sue the cleaner were hospitable and accommodating. The beach is right across the street and there are places nearby to walk to for meals out. The room was equipped with lots of towels including pool towels. Having a coin washer and dryer on site was helpful. We loved our stay and plan on coming back again!

Great Florida Getaway

My children and I stayed in apt 2 and had a wonderful time, the location is perfect, the pool and surround grounds kept in pristine condition and the resident managers were lovely people. The beach is close as are restaurants and John's pass. The apartment was extremely well stocked and clean. We would definitely come back again. The only negative comment was from my son who was a bit disappointed that the wi-fi was a bit weak to play online games, but that's probably for the best anyway! Would highly recommend this complex. Thank you Imre and Maria!

Place was nice, had everything we needed. There was a dead cockroach under our bathroom sink. The pool was kind of dirty as well. The housekeeper thought we cancelled our stay when we got there, and stopped us from going in at first, and then was knocking on our door at 10am on our last day when checkout was at 11am. We loved the location, and it was perfect for a little girls trip! We also didn’t realize the washers and dryers weren’t in our house, and that we had to pay for them. But overall the stay was great!

Great place!

Nice and friendly. Met several nice people. Pool right outside and beach across the street. Close to everything we did. The property manager was great as well. Overall great experience!

It was great!

Clean quaint, fun. Short walk to beach and trolley stop. Great pool easy access to restaurants, stores, grocery etc. The staff was awesome!

Very accommodating

The property is just as the listing states. My husband and two young boys thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gulf Gardens! It is a great location, close to the beach and many excellent restaurants. John was quick to respond to emails and very accommodating. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future!

Short and sweet

Our stay was short and sweet. Perfect little pool for my daughter to enjoy. And perfect location right across from the beach. Loved the other guests staying there. Felt completely safe and would love to return. The only downside was the tv in the bedroom was a smart TV that required us to hook up to it to utilize the apps. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind. Overall though, we loved our stay

Spring Break Getaway

My family of four found this property to be perfect for a quick trip to the beach. We were pleasantly surprised at the the condition of the property as it appears to have had some upgrades that were not reflected in the online photos. Additionally, the unit was well stocked with soaps and paper products, we had a grocery delivery waiting for us upon our arrival and didn’t need some of the staples we had ordered. The atmosphere in the complex was very laid back, it seemed that most of the other guests were snowbirds from the north enjoying a long stay. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and there was a beach access almost directly across the street. The unit had a nice view of the pool area and we enjoyed most meals outside on the porch. We found the unit complex to be a hidden gem and the owner to be very responsive. We would definitely return.

Great location and amenities

Quaint little bungalo that is located near many restaurants and a across from the beach. Only confusion we had was the property mgr listed on VRBO was incorrect and wrong phone number. Real mgr number listed on office door and responded immediately on access to the unit. No hair-dryer or iron. Had a great week!

Fabulous Experience

We hopped down for labor day weekend with our 13-year old son for a quick beach getaway. This place exceeded expectations! The bed was so comfortable, the location was absolutely perfect. The pool was clean and inviting and the beach just across the street was uncrowded and just perfect. Everyone was so nice. Just loved it.

Couples perfect great location

Steps to pool and beach across street. Clean property . We left early for personal reasons and John (owner) was really helpful. Definitely I would be staying again
