Awesome location, great property

Awesome location and house for our needs. The house was our vacation destination, and it provided easy access to the beach and dunes. Awesome nearby pizza restaurant and coffee shops were frequent stops for us. Would stay again!

Beautiful lake view

Great property beautiful views. Had a great time with friends for a long weekend. We really enjoyed the pool. Listing says sleeps 12 people but really 11 adults comfortably. Would definitely rent again!

Family Gathering

Our extended family (ages 2-76) try to get together every year. This by far has been our favorite house! The cleanliness, accommodations, location, and communication with the property manager were all amazing!

Excellent!

The place is amazing overall and perfect for a family getaway. Lots of room, Very clean, very well taken care of, steps away from the beach access path, well stocked and the owner was very nice and very accommodating. The indoor pool was great and the kids loved it. 5 stars!!!

Ladies retreat

My friends and I take a girls weekend away once a year. This house was absolutely perfect to relax and enjoy the views. We only left once to go out for dinner and the rest of the time we enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and sauna! We'd highly recommend renting this home!

A wonderful new year!

As a large group of friends at this property we were able to enjoy the pool, the sauna, and the hot tub. We got to relax and explore the huge wonderful home. It was a fun relaxing way to bring in the new year!

Hanna was kind and responsive. The house gave our family plenty of space to be together and opportunities to retreat for quiet time. It's also great for hide-and-seek in the dark!

Amazing beach and large house

The beach is beautiful and only a 4-5 minute walk away. You can see and hear the ATVs nearby throughout the day, but it’s only a minor inconvenience. The house is large and has a unique layout. There was ample space for 6 adults and 5 children under the age of 6. Would definitely stay again!

Must visit property

We were first guest to stay at the property. We had good experience. Location of the property is the perfect (view of the sand dunes , beach at walking distance and view of the Lake Michigan from every window). Property manager was helpful and co-operative. Manager took care of the sanitation and cleanliness. I strongly recommend to stay at this property for a staycation or if you are around Mears MI.

Beautiful location

I would be happy to vacation here again! The house was plenty big enough for our 3 families with enough amenities to keep the kids and adults entertained. The kids loved playing in the pool and it was nice that puddle jumpers were there for us to use! The hot tub and sauna were a great way to wind down at night. The kitchen is very large and great for cooking! We enjoyed eating dinner each night on the huge deck overlooking Lake Michigan. The private beach on Lake Michigan was absolutely gorgeous. I was sad when it was time to leave and would love to stay here again!

Amazing gem tucked in the sand dunes of Lake Michigan!

This property is beyond amazing. Seven of us spent a weekend at the property for a girls cousin getaway. The house is situated in the amazing sand dunes of Lake Michigan! I’m not sure what was our favorite...the dunes, the views, the lake, the hot tub, the pool or the sauna!!!!! We all want to go back in the summer to enjoy even more! The property was immaculate and gorgeous! I HIGHLY recommend! You won’t be disappointed!!! I can’t wait to go back!!!!

I only gave an overall of 4 stars due to hot tub being dirty and having cigarette butts in it,so we couldn't use it There was also an issue with the downstairs toilet, but property owner may not of been aware until I told her. Otherwise, beautiful home and location. We very much enjoyed ourselves.

Apologies for any inconvenience you encountered, however, Pool Maintenance did check on the hot tub after your check-out and it was completely clean! It is unfortunate this was not mentioned until after your check out. I always offer guests to contact me at any time during their stay if they encounter any issues and it can remedied immediately. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your stay otherwise!

Overall fun time, nice house, has just about everything you could ask for. Close to town, can see the sand dunes from the house and lake. Food and main town not far from home. Plenty of space to sit, nice deck, large neat and unique home. Issues: 1. We had ants and fruit flies all throughout the home, specifically the kitchen area. They have ant traps out everywhere, nothing for the fruit flies but it was a pretty big issue in the kitchen. 2. Pool and hot tub had a decent amount of sand in it as well upon arrival.

Beautiful home and great location!

Our family had an amazing time with the sand dunes and Lake Michigan beach. The house is beautiful, especially the master suite. Our family enjoyed the indoor pool. The large kitchen was adequately furnished. We had a plumbing issue that was addressed quickly. We were unable to lock the patio door, apparently due to a problem from the previous renters, and this was not repaired during our stay. The pool room doors also had lock issues. The outside property needs some TLC. Overall, the owner was responding to our concerns and we would stay here again.

Stunning views

Great house! 3 flights of stairs of you have anyone in your group with issues walking stairs. Overall really good!! Also, a bit of a walk to the beach and a steep walk down to get on it. (Can you tell we had a few seniors with us😊). The pool, hot tub, and sauna were great amenities to have! We had a couple issues at check in and Hannah was right on top of it. Only suggestion i would make, label light switches! So many and hard to figure out what goes to where🤪. Everyone in our group of 10 loved this property, and we would return❤

Needs Maintenance

Clean, 4 level home with a beautiful master suite, 2 small queen rooms and 1 small twin room, 4 single pull out futons and 4 double pull out futons. It worked for 8 adults and 8 kids with room for 4 more. One double futon had very worn mattress that needed to be replaced. There are 5 bathrooms which was great with our big group. However, one toilet had to be flushed twice. The grill flame regulator didn't work well, so we finished grilling on our own Blackstone grill we had brought. The fridge/freezer was a good size, in addition to a small fridge/freezer in the garage was helpful with our big group. The hot tub turned green and needed maintenance. The a/c quit working one hot night, but started again the next day. The sauna was not working. The small indoor pool, about 6x12 and 31/2 ft deep was a hit with the kids. There are many weeds and overgrown brush, not like the maintained grounds in picure. It needs to be sprayed for mosquitos and weeds. It has a grumpy neighbor who watches and waits to see if you will break any rules like parking past the driveway posts or backing a trailer up the driveway and will come remind you about them. The space and view are lovely with just a 5 minute walk to the beach however, the property needs maintenance and has a grumpy neighbor to be aware of.

Girls getaway

We enjoyed our time. Maybe I didn’t realize there were no bedrooms on the main floor. House could use more glasses, cups plates etc We had a group of 8 and were washing them frequently.. no bar ware. Beautiful location Beds very comfortable..

End of Summer Family Vacation

The property checked all of our boxes. It gave us plenty of rooms with the kids, was clean, and had plenty of activities/space at the house to keep everyone entertained. The short walk to the beach and short drive into town made it a great location for a variety of things to do. The owner was super responsive and supportive. Very appreciative of Hanna's caring and prompt attention when needed.

Would not recommend

We did not have a positive experience. Ant infestation was not corrected by property manager. The very small indoor pool was green so much that we couldn’t see bottom which not corrected until day before we left. Listing pictures don’t show the abandoned construction project that blocks views of the dunes and lake. As you sit on the deck you look at ripped Tyvek blowing in the wind. Landscaping was overgrown and unkept. Property is on the edge of the sand dunes where people off-road so be prepared to listen to the 9am-9pm noise from hundreds of dune buggies. Beach access is difficult from the property as it is a very steep climb up and down the hill to get there. Property is down a very long single lane dirt road in the woods so an SUV is recommended/necessary as part of the driveway washed away during a heavy rain while we were there. You also are responsible for removing your trash by putting it in your car and emptying it into the dumpster at the end of the dirt road. We feel we grossly overpaid and will not stay there again.
