This quaint house offers three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, custom kitchen, family and dining room all decorated à la castaway shabby chic. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, dish washer and is stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans. Coffee and tea are provided to start your day off perky while a bar cart with wine, Perrier and coconut water (or seasonal selection) will help you wind down. Relax al fresco under the pergola and sip a chilled glass of wine. Cuddle up to a cozy read from our extensive library, sure to please your inner bookworm. Shop, yes shop, an eclectic selection of home decor throughout the house, new items added weekly! Enjoy a peaceful nights rest in our clothesline crisp percale sheets, just like the sheets you loved when you spent the night at grandmother's house. The Pearl House makes the perfect getaway for families or a celebratory retreat. Let your sails direct you to our little gem and you will be happy as a clam!

We enjoyed our stay at the Pearl House. Home was spacious clean, and comfortable. Host Nicky was very accessible and answered questions right away. Neighborhood was quite and very easy access to the seawall or strand.

I really enjoyed the overall experience. The host was super friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions and offer suggestions for things to do in the area. The amenities were also top-notch, with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a clean bathroom. But what really stood out was the location. It was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay. Close to the seawall, moody gardens and Schlitterbaun water park. Everything we had planned on our trip. The property manager made sure we had everything we needed and even communicated throughout the trip to make sure things were going smoothly.

Birthday getaway

The house itself was in a great location for us. We checked in a little later than check in time and ran into the owners who were taking care of the plants in the yard. The lawn itself was overgrown and we’re informed that the lawn care service would be here the following day to take care of it. We had to plug in any lamps that we wanted to use throughout the house. The ice maker on the refrigerator constantly dripped so I had to place a towel in the door to catch the water. The cleanliness of the house needed work. We ended up with black feet after walking around the wood floors. The advertisement of an inviting back porch was misleading. It was very overgrown, dirty with a used tissue in the table and a grill that needed to be cleaned. We found a child’s wallet on the edge of the porch as well. After looking through the welcome book we found the owners of the wallet and sent them their items. I think the house was unprepared for visitors, even though we booked months in advance. I did appreciate the fact that the house was big enough for my family and that my daughter got to celebrate her 21st birthday on the island.

Softball tournament

Nice home and number of beds needed for our softball tournament weekend.Having a gas grill was nice on back porch but could have better lighting to cook in evening. Overall nice home and space needed.

It was perfect for family stay.

It was clean and plenty of room for six adults. Enjoyed the back porch and the full size kitchen. It was close to an event we were attending.

Amazing and beautiful house!

We didn’t realize how close to the beach we really were! Such a beautiful house and so spacious and gave us plenty of room especially with 4 different girls to get ready. Walmart is super close! So that was a plus. We loved it thank you for hosting us!

Cute house

This house was so cute! We went for my daughters 16th birthday. We had a good time, house is roomy. One thing with families with kids is I feel it was so fragile. Meaning I was afraid the kids would break or ruin things if they touched anything. Would definitely recommend for adults but maybe not for small kiddos that like to touch and pick up things. Luckily my children are older so it was fine for us. Lots of things to buy around the house which made it feel like a little store/museum with all the history attached.

Comfortable and convenient

We had a very enjoyable stay in this property. It is easy to find and very convenient for the sea wall and Moody Gardens. We would certainly return at some time if we are in the area again and it is available.

Excellent Home Away From Home

The Pearl is absolutely amazing. It’s one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. It was extremely clean and inviting and had all the necessary items to provide comfort and entertainment while in Galveston. Nicky was super easy to communicate with and messaged several time throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The location is in a perfect spot to be close to the sea wall, water park, and Moody Gardens. We will definitely be back!

The Pearl House

Beautiful house and very well decorated. The property owner is so sweet and made sure everything was in order prior to our arrival. We even had an issue with a defective propane tank and she had someone come out immediately to have it looked at and fixed so that we could grill dinner. You will not be disappointed with your stay at The Pearl House!

Fantastic stay at the Pearl House!

This was one of our best rentals we’ve stayed in! The house is decorated beautifully and it’s been very well cared for. Every room was comfortable and the deck was a nice space to hang out, too. There are books to read, kitchen well stocked and bikes to cruise around on. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and very close to the beach. Nicole is the loviest host, there were treats for us when we arrived! She communicated well ahead of our dates and during our stay, too. She checked on us to see if we needed anything, gave us tips on where to eat, what beach to go to and also answered various questions. If you need lodging in Galveston, consider the Pearl House! I highly recommend this rental!
