This was the perfect spot for our family. Communication with the host pre visit was timely and helpful. The property was welcoming and we appreciated the amenities. Pricing was very reasonable. The downstairs activities were a welcome plus and enjoyed by our family. We would recommend this property.

The property's location was truly exceptional, and the house itself was beautiful. It was well-equipped to provide entertainment for all. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the garage, which served as a great social space. The kids loved playing ping pong. Moreover, the availability of beach supplies in the garage was a welcome surprise, given that our primary intention was to go on a cruise rather than engage in beach activities.

Galveston Trip

This property is amazing. Had infants, teens and adults staying and it was just like being at home! Kids loved the game room. Only thing I would mention is if you have a family member that can't climb stairs, this may not be the property for you. We loved this property and my 4 year old granddaughter cried when we left, saying, I love our house, I don't want to go home!

Wonderful

6 adults 4 kids 8-4 yrs, enough space and beds. Extra towels, kitchen needs, the basement is an awesome play area for all. The gas grill and outside shower is a nice touch. And about 2 blocks from the beach so no need to pay for parking slot access. Had kayak and kick boards and much more. Host answers immediately and for sweet. Will use again. Thanks!!!

Comfort and Ease

This was a quaint space that was great for our needs. A young family would enjoy this space, too. All the rooms are on the same floor-there was a retractable gate for the top of the stairs. We stayed as a home base for my son and girlfriend’s home base for prom. Our golden doodle stayed with us and she loved the space as well. Everything on the island (main attractions) are within minutes drive. Also, kids and husband loved using the game room space downstairs. I can totally see us visiting this house again in the future! Thank you!

Regret this Booking

Overall very poor experience with this booking. First I’ll start with the fact that this property smells very pungent with cigarette smoke. Like so much cigarette smell that my wife and 10 month old child had to cut our vacation short to avoid another night in this place. The listing says smoke free but the previous or current owner must chain smoke inside. Second we had a very weird experience when we arrived. The owner messaged us with about a 10 minute heads up that they were coming by to drop off some equipment in the garage. This was not enough heads up to communicate to our family who were bringing their bags in when they were met by a stranger who did not introduce themselves and proceeded to enter the property. Scary and unprofessional. Third, location is horrible. Unsafe area and my truck had a break in attempt at 3am the first night setting my security alarm off.Fourth, the WiFi didn’t work.Lastly we asked to potentially have an early check in to get our 10 month old settled but they were not able to accommodate. This is fine but their 4pm check in is certainly later than average and is not convenient.
