Fantastic home close to the tennis courts & 2 tram stops

My husband & I really enjoyed our stay in this home. Very clean & recently updated by appearances. Everything worked & it was a quiet location. The master bed is very soft which was fine for us. The other bedroom had a firm mattress as did the twin beds in the loft.

We enjoyed this second floor unit with its lofted bedroom and spacious common area. It is in a quiet area of Sea Colony that has its own pool and plenty of shade from old growth trees. Would definitely rent here again.

Enjoyed our stay

Home was very comfortable and a short walking distance to Sea Colony amenities. Garbage disposal did not work properly. The counter area in the kitchen seemed to have an ant infestation. Other than that we enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay! Location was great and the home was perfect for our group. One thing, the outside patio needed to be cleaned having gathered outdoor debris. It didn’t affect our stay, but wasn’t pretty. The rest of the home was clan and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely, convenient beach stay

This was just the right size for our group of five. Comfortable beds in two bedrooms, two full baths, a spacious loft for up to 3 people (our young son and an adult stayed there). The kitchen is well stocked with flatware and silverware and cooking utensils. Good closet and drawer space. The location is great: right near the tennis center and less than a mile from the beach and Edgewood (beachside) pool, .5 mile from the Sea Colony office and restaurants. We loved the second story privacy, just note it's 2 flights of stairs to walk up. Check in and check out were easy and we had all the info we needed. Lots of towels and blankets! September was GREAT timing to visit: lovely weather and almost empty. Always look forward to Sea Colony each summer! One small thing to note: the living room could use track lighting or something--it's lit only by 2 lamps (and the adjacent kitchen fluorescent light) so is quite dim morning/evening/when rainy.

Great vacation!

Very nicely decorated inside, and a great seating area on the screened in porch (loved the lights!). New washer & dryer, and appropriate amount of small appliances in the kitchen. Dining table was perfect for lunch AND for playing games on in the evenings. Proximity to pool and to beach tram pick up was great. Plenty of room for all 6 of us (4 adults and 2 young teens).

Another great Bethany Beach vacation at Sea Colony

We’ve been vacationing at Sea Colony for about 15 years. This year was yet again another wonderfully relaxing family trip. Since we know what to expect with the condos we rent, this met all of our expectations and needs. I particularly liked the seating on the porch, enjoyed early morning coffees and rainy afternoon reading.

Sea Colongy West is a great place to vacation

We had a very nice vacation week at Sea Colony. It was a beautiful place and we enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, the cleaning job prior to our arrival was very poor. It seemed little had been done other than change the sheets and discard trash. The outside deck and screened porch had obviously not been cleaned in many weeks. There was grime all over the furniture and floor was quite dirty. The inside floor in the dining/living area was very unclean, and the throw rug was full of sand. Also, the carpet in the loft area was dirty. Since we had two toddlers with us, we basically spent the first day cleaning the place (after buying some cleaning materials). As indicated, we did have a great time for the week, but the pre-cleaning service was very sub-standard, and that was quite disappointing.

Good Location

The condo was comfortable & clean. It was well-supplied with towels & linens, though $125 charge for our 4 night stay seemed steep. For short stays this needs to be included in the total cost or have the option of supplying your own. The kitchen was well-equipped. There is only a Keurig coffeemaker, so don’t bring regular coffee. The beds & furniture were comfortable. Nice screened porch with comfortable furniture. Bathrooms were a nice size. The loft with 2 twin beds & a futon would be great for bigger groups. The big plus is good beach access & several pools. Some pools were not open during our stay. Great bike paths & tram service around the resort.

Very nice unit, no hassles, well equipped with kitchen pans, casserole dishes, Keurig coffee maker. Only wish they supplied better cooking knives(for sharper chopping, slicing) that's just constructive criticism, not a complaint. Walk across the street or drive to ocean, thank you Jose for bringing fantastic waves.
