Bethany Beach Sea Colony Resort Condo w/Lake Views.

This first floor 2 bedroom condo has beautiful lake views and a private deck. Located just outside the quaint town of Bethany Beach. The condo is part of the Sea Colony (SC) Resort complex and is perfectly situated to take advantage of the SC amenities. The condo is 0.4 miles from the fitness center, 0.3 miles from the tennis center, 1 mile to the SC private beach and 1.5 miles to the town of Bethany Beach.

West lake (the lake behind the condo) also allows catch and release fishing as well as recreational use with canoes/kayaks.

SC amenities include a PRIVATE beach for SC owners and guests only. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent. 2 gyms each with an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and locker rooms on location. Multiple outdoor pools. World class tennis and pickle ball facilities. Basketball courts. Free shuttle between Sea Colony East (Oceanside) and Sea Colony West (Inland) locations.

…or perhaps you prefer to park the car and forget it while you are here. Bring or rent a bike and enjoy the bike paths into town. You can also ride the shuttle to SC East and from there it is a 0.5 mile walk into town where youll find a variety of stores, restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops.

No matter what you decide to do or when you decide to come there is something for everyone!

Please note we no longer offer linen and towel rentals. We recommend Gale Force Rentals. They will offer all of our guests a 10% discount on their order and they offer drop off and pick up. (Soap, paper towels and toilet paper are provided).

This is a lovely property with a beautiful view! It was very clean, nicely furnished and very peaceful! Having access to the Sea Colony beach and parking is very convenient! Would definitely stay here again!!!

We rented this condo to attend a two day wedding in the area. The rental was very clean, filled our needs, and close to where we needed to be. In addition to the rental fee, there is an additional fee paid to the condo association for the use of their amenities and parking.

Very well located property within the second phase of sea colony. Down the street from the tennis courts, the indoor pool and the spray bay for the kids. Property owner was easily accessible and everything went great. Would definitely recommend!

Great location

This 2 bedroom was perfect for us. Close to tennis , the tram stop & the beach. It’s accurately described in the listing; comfortable with everything you need. We really loved having the porch overlooking the pond. Our weather was a little rainy so it was especially nice to have access to the indoor pool. The host quickly responded when I had a question.

We loved our stay at Sea Colony. We had our choices of pools and the private beach was great and easy to get to. The condo was the perfect size for 4 adults and the owners were reachable and helpful with recommendations. Looking forward to staying again.

My wife and I love the Sea Colony neighborhood, its where we go every summer. his home had a great view of the lake, had plenty of amenities and was very clean. I highly recommend this home and the Sea Colony!

Beautiful location in a nice community and right on the lake. Close to beaches and downtown Bethany. Incredibly communicative and helpful host who even responded late at night to resolve an issue promptly.

Relaxing location

First time here. Very nice. Used to go to Ocean City, but we enjoyed this much more. Grand kids like riding the tram. liked this much more than staying on the beach.

I really like Brighton Lake. The unit was fine and was quiet which I was concerned about being on the first floor. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed.

2 bedroom condo at West Lake

Very nice, small condo with view of lake, a deck and a swan! Has all amenities needed and great communication with owner. You can walk to Sea Colony gym, tennis courts and village. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Perfect

The property is awesome! Right on the lake and everything is so clean and well managed. Not to mention how great the owners of the property are! They are there to answer anything! Will definitely stay again ! PS, we won the championship of the Ocean City softball tournament. I give credit to the good sleep I got in this place.

Great Stay!

My husband, myself and our 2 year old daughter stayed for a week. Accommodations were perfect for a toddler with everything on one floor and clear sightlines from kitchen to living room and porch. Each TV had access to all the streaming services and cable. Three trolleys pass right by the condo which serves as easy access to all the amenities Sea Colony has to offer. With great playgrounds, pools, beach and splashpad all right there I would highly recommend this property! If you have older children, there are even more activities for your kids to enjoy!

We had fun

Overall, the property was a good value and we enjoyed our stay. As noted in the ratings above, the property was clean and consistent with online listing. We had 2 issues that came up: 1) ants in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom & 2) smoke alarm went off in the middle of our last night. However, for both issues the property manager was very responsive. For the ants, we were given liquid ant traps that worked great!

The apartment was clean but dated. The terrace door could only be opened with lots of force and the terrace furniture was cheap and old. Communication with the owner was speedy and efficient

Thanks for your review Stephanie! Unfortunately the rollers on the terrace door and the salt air dont agree with each other but we try to keep the tracks clean and have WD40 under the sink. We have been busy making upgrades on our interior and plan to tackle the terrace next. Hope to have you back in the future!

beautiful spot

our stay was lovely except for the TV not working in one of the bedrooms. When we contacted property manager - she suggested it was probably due to need for new batteries in remote. We did not want to have to deal with finding appropriate batteries and replacing them - had hoped the TV would have been in working order when we arrived. Other than that our stay was wonderful

The kitchen was well stocked. We liked that there wasn’t much decor that kids could damage. We specifically wanted a unit with no stairs or bunk beds. Negatives-Floors/carpet quite dirty. Excellent for a family of 4!!!

This was my family’s first time staying in Delaware. We would come back in a heartbeat and stay at the same place. The owner was great to deal with. Very responsive and informative for a family like mine that didn’t know the area. That view of the lake from the back porch is my new happy place. They did not skimp on the beds. I slept better there then I did in years in my own home! At first we were overwhelmed with being away from the beach but there is an overflow parking lot JUST for Sea Colony residents right across from the beach and there was ALWAYS spots. Definitely hit up Bethany blues for good bbq! Since the Bethany Boardwalk was so small we ventured to Rehobeth boardwalk which was only 20-25 minutes away. Much better for kids! I loved this place!!!

Great location surrounded with family activities

The condo was in a great location. My grandkids had a wonderful time. Don’t know if it’s possible for owner to sweep off degree of pollen on patio and front. It was thick. Not having towels and sheets provided was cumbersome. When I booked, I didn’t see that bit of information beforehand. I probably would not have rented because that made packing much harder, longer and limited the space in cars - not enough room. However, the location was a hit with the family. Last note, the queen bed was so hard, difficult to sleep. Owner quickly responded to concerns! Unit was so hard to find, even with our gps. Had to get security help. Providing a clear map on condo location would help. Found out gps doesn’t work well in area.

adequate rental

The rental unit was ok... not great,and not bad. It was a basic rental. There were a few things not working during our stay, - the kitchen clock, the electrical outlets in each bathroom. Not deal breakers, but reflects on the preparation to have things working even in an off season rental period. The kitchen is furnished with basic items. The deck was covered in leaves, so again, not really inviting to be out there in the lovely weather we had during our stay. The view from the unit is lovely, looking directly onto the West Lake... lovely. It could use a fresh coat of paint. I didn't seen any games or books for kids or adults during rainy periods. Property manager was very responsive.
