Pisgah Ridge private cabin near Brevard. Dogs OK, fire pit, mountain views, free Biltmore Pass

Pisgah Ridge Country Cabin near Brevard is convenient to DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and all the hiking, biking, and all the other outdoor activities that make our area famous. We love our log cabin and its peaceful setting at the top of Pisgah Forest Drive. Relax and enjoy the view from the deck, and just unwind. We have a hiking trail on the property that leads down to a stream. FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

Everything in the house is accessible on the main level with the exception of the loft, which is up the spiral staircase. Lots of sunlight make this a cheerful space and the views make it relaxing and peaceful. We have a fire pit in the side yard as well as a gas grill, and the deck has a covered area so you can enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. The open floor plan connects the kitchen, dining area and the living area which makes the house great for entertaining. The kitchen has all the pots and pans and utensils you could want, and even features a dual Keurig and Regular coffee maker so bring your pods! We are from Texas and we love coming to Brevard every chance we get. We fell in love with this house and it is our mountain getaway. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Brevard is home to the renowned Brevard Music Center, and is host to annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all). Be sure to check out the event calendar for the Porter Center, which is the performing arts venue for Brevard College. You should check out Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest, both a short drive away, and it takes only about 20 minutes to get to the beautiful Gorges State Park. Asheville and Hendersonville are both nearby, and they feature lots of attractions if you want to take a day trip or two.

Perfect place to stay if you want to hike and explore the Pisgah Forest and Dupont Forest. The cabin is very well appointed in a quiet setting. Perfect for relaxing.

Great house and neighborhood

Wonderful house, very clean, located in a nice neighborhood and good scenery. It has everything you would need and is laid out perfectly for a family or two couples. Great hiking within 20-30 minutes.

Girls trip

Perfect cabin for a get away with friends. The cabin was very clean, with a comfortable cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was one of the best equipped kitchens at a vrbo that I’ve stayed at. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed this well-kept, nicely stocked, conveniently located cabin. The property was as advertised, and property management was pleasant to work with. I would recommend staying here to family and friends.

Restful paradise

So peaceful and quiet. Perfect cabin in the mountain/woods. Cabin was one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in. And quiet and so nice. The loudest thing we heard was a hummingbird that buzzed us on the back porch. Also, the internet was fantastic - for those that need to work a bit while on site.

Wonderful long weekend

Wonderful property located close to Pisgah National Forest and downtown Brevard but with privacy that made it feel private and secluded! Beautiful cabin with so much room and a huge back porch! The trail behind the house leads to a little creek. It was perfect for me and my dog. I will definitely book again !

Great little house!!

This cabin was exactly what we were expecting! Very clean, kitchen had what we needed to make family meals, clean bathrooms and bedding. We brought our dogs and the area was very safe for walking. The drive down the mountain took about 20 minutes to go to Brevard/restaurants etc. we highly recommend Oskar Blues Brewery for outdoor, heated, dog friendly fun!! We will definitely consider this spot for our next mountain trip.

Surprise Trip for Son's 18th Birthday

Everything was super easy! This was my first time arranging a rental and it was super easy and I received all of the info that I needed without asking for it. The lights were on for is when we arrived and it was so clean and such a cute home!

Wonderful fall getaway

Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with my family. It was very clean, cozy and quiet cabin that we enjoyed so much. We enjoyed Pisgah national forest and it was very close drive to the cabin. We watched old movies with fireplace turned on in the evenings, had steaks on the grill and smores at the fire pit, and morning coffee on the porch. So much needed relaxing time. Thank you so much!!!

Cleanest, cutest cabin!

Hands-down, this is the most immaculate VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The cabin itself is so well maintained and well appointed with everything you could need (thanks for the extra AAA battery we needed in a pinch!). It was a perfect 4 nights for our family if 4 (2 adults, 2 teens). We enjoyed movies, games, so much hiking in Pisgah and DuPont, exploring and eating out in Brevard, and even hiked up Looking Glass for sunset. Oh! And the white squirrel paid us many visits. Lovely place, lovely community. Thank you for sharing your home!

Expectations!

Everything was more than we could of expected! We were on top of a mountain and the pups loved it! We used the fire pit one night, the kids loved the space and the layout was beautiful! We travel every years to SC, we always stop in the area before heading to Surfside. We WILL rent this gorgeous home again soon! Thanks for making us feel right at home!

Great Mountain cabin

Wonderful mountain cabin. Very comfortable. Great location. We were surprised that the 2 guest bedrooms did not have air conditioning. If it was listed in the description, we missed it. There are ceiling fans in both guest rooms, but it was still a little warm. Otherwise absolutely lovely cabin.

Nice home. Needs more a/c units though.

Home was beautiful. Extremely clean. Perfect for our family. Our only recommendation is to install a/c units in the secondary bedrooms as our summer stay was hot and the existing two a/c units in the family room and master bedroom did not cool down the remaining three bedrooms.

Perfect location

This property was just perfect for our family of four. We had the best summer vacation visiting Brevard and the surrounding area and the location of this house made it so much easier to accomplish everything on our itinerary. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we experienced secluded mountain peace while at home, but could drive under 30 mins to visit breweries, hike trails, take on Sliding Rock, ride horses, go shopping, take the kids gem mining, eat Bojangles, visit the arcade, and get groceries. The house was also very clean which is huge for me. Thank you so much :)

Great Hiking Getaway

The property was clean and as advertised. The kitchen was well-stocked and the porch was terrific for relaxing. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room have a great view of the surroundings and mountaintops in the distance. The creek path is well-marked, and it was convenient to DuPont and Pisgah and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is up a mountain, away from town, which was what we wanted. We hiked 7 waterfalls, had great brews from local breweries, and found the property to be the lovely haven we needed, especially after this crazy last year.

Wonderful mountain home

The home was a great mountain getaway. The interior of the house was clean, well-stocked, comfortable and spacious. The management company was very responsive to our questions. Our only criticism would be the outside. We like sitting on the deck and enjoying the mountains, but the deck furniture was dirty and stained. The Adirondack chairs were cracked and dirty as well. We put down kitchen towels on the chairs but that shouldn’t have been necessary. All in all, I would recommend this home as a great mountain getaway.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is truly beautiful with all the windows! It was spacious and very clean. While we had problems figuring out how to turn on the heat, and was disappointed that the fireplace was out of order, we were able to get a glimpse of the white squirrel on a daily basis as his nest is just next to the back porch. The cabin is centrally located to Brevard, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Hendersonville and the Dupont National Forest. There’s lots to see and do in the area. Unfortunately during our stay there was a fire close by but we were notified by staff and kept abreast of the condition. We were very appreciative of that. We were unable to enjoy the fire pit due to a burn ban but the area is very nice. The cabin is secluded and the back porch offers some great opportunities for relaxing and communing with nature.

Lovely cabin

The property and house were exactly what we were looking for: plenty of outdoor space and great location near the things we like to do in Brevard. It was clean and well-stocked with towels, plates, glasses, etc. A storm as we arrived knocked out power for about 4 hours, which wasn’t anything that could be helped, but unfortunately it also turned off all water to the house. I was unable to get ahold of the property management that night or the next morning, and we were without water for sinks/toilets/etc for 18 hours. I know these things happen, however I would have appreciated a little more responsiveness and communication from the management company.

Enjoyed our stay

The property was in wonderful condition. Clean. Well stocked with utensils plates, cups, etc. Could use a few wine glasses but that's a small item. Pretty view out the back. Great rear porch. Comfortable beds. Nice showers. AC in master bedroom & living room but not in other bedrooms. Cools down at night so this was not really an issue. Cooked most meals on the grill. The road up to the home is paved but in places steep but it is two lanes wide albeit narrow in places. Just have to take your time going up and down. Close to Brevard and closer to Dupont State Forest for hiking & biking. Back way into Dupont at the bottom of the hill for a 5 mile mountain bike challenge.
