Enjoy a relaxing getaway in Wine Country!

Hummingbird House is located within a private vineyard estate nestled in the scenic hills between Templeton and Paso Robles, in the heart of California's Central Coast wine country. A uniquely beautiful private setting with expansive lawn, a beautifully landscaped pond, lined with sycamore, and redwood trees, and our two resident swans.

This listing is for the main house with exclusive use of the gated pool and game room. There are two other units on the property, the upstairs guest studio (Vrbo 2078927) and downstairs guest unit (not a vacation rental).

The property does have several security cameras - one at the main gate, one in the parking area behind the house, one above the barn and one inside the barn. They are not 24/7 monitored devices.

Amazing property!

We had a great stay at this gorgeous home. The property is beautiful, with a lake just outside your front door where the resident swans live. The house has everything you could possibly need or want and it is thoughtfully organized and labeled. The game room provides endless fun with something for everyone. Christine (the host) is helpful and quick to respond to questions. We will definitely be back, our family made some wonderful memories during our stay. The only thing that would have made it better was more time.

2nd stay at the Hummingbird Estate

For the second year in a row myself and four friends from high school stayed at this great property. Everything was exactly as we remembered. Either relaxing by the pool or playing games in the barn. This property has lots of options. Throughly enjoyed our stay.

Guys weekend

We picked this house primarily for the well-equipped game room and are very pleased. There's enough to keep ten guys entertained and could accommodate more. We played disc golf at a nearby winery but otherwise spent most of our two days at the house. I'm not aware of any needs or items we wished we had. Our group was all men so we were pleased to find fold-out cushions that allowed us to set up camp on floors, rather than sharing beds. We found 2 bathrooms in the house to be adequate. It was nice to have the pool but it was surprisingly cool; too cold for me but not for all. It's a nice location and served us well. It's easy for me to rate this VRBO highly.

Awesome stay at the hummingbird house

Our stay at the hummingbird house was awesome, it's a very peaceful and spacious home. My family and I had a great time during our stay, I would definitely stay there again. My brother and I are in wheelchairs, we were able to get around the property without any issues. Although I would make some suggestions for disabled people the first would be to make sure a Hoyer lift can fit under the bed and the second would be to get beds that can recline because some disabled people can't sleep on their backs. Other than that I give this rental a 10/10. If you're thinking of staying here I'd say go for it it's worth it. I would also like to thank Christine Mulholland for the great experience.

Beautiful home!

This home was perfect for our family visit to Paso Robles. The pictures don't do this home justice, it has an amazing yard and game room. The owners live on property, super friendly and keep to themselves.

Beautiful and relaxing stay!

This is a gorgeous property complete with a pond with swans and a game barn with everything to keep a group entertained. My friends and I were wanting to have a fun and relaxing getaway and this place was perfect!! Easy checkin and checkout process, kitchen has a lot to use for cooking, very clean house and loved the pool too!! Will definitely stay again in the future!

I Can't Wait to Book Again!

From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect! The house was just as describes and everything was in working order. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. The grounds are charming and lovely--there are even two swans in the pond! We took portraits and the backdrop was scenic and wonderful. There is a great game room with all of the amenities--we had a great time there! We have plans to return--our host was SUPERB!

Beautiful property!

The grounds of this property was beautiful and everyone loved the game room. It could use some lighting along the way since the game room is away from the house lol. Also the kitchen is totally stocked with pots and really good frying pans. First time I didn’t need to bring mine. The grounds are perfect for a wedding if anyone is interested in that.

Friends getaway

Myself and four friends stayed at the hummingbird house in Templeton and it was amazing. The main house was just as advertised. We had exclusive use of the pool and the barn/game room. Which we enjoyed throughly. The grounds are beautiful, spacious and very peaceful. We wanted an out of the way place that we could catch up with each other and not be bothered. This property was exactly what we hoped for. We plan to book this again. Wonderful experience!

Pool and amazing barn game room.

This is a beautiful property and home. Very welcoming with signs wishing my friend a Happy Birthday when we arrived. Clean and comfortable beds, well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and game room. We had young adults in our group and they loved it. the property is well cared for and so peaceful. Lakes, fountains, and swans. Many out door areas to enjoy. Loved it and cant wait to go back!

Better than expected!

We had a great weekend at this property and were pleasantly surprised by the vast, beautiful grounds and even the spacious, well-laid out living space. We enjoyed the views of the pond, the relaxing pool, and the game barn was a unique bonus. Christine was very responsive to any inquiries and left personalized touches in the home. The kitchen was well-stocked for those who like to cook, but the grill is charcoal, so plan accordingly! Overall we had a wonderful stay and almost didn't want to leave during the day to visit the nearby wineries!

Nice and relaxing

Amazing Family Reunion Spot!

This property is an absolute gem! The home is so beautiful and has every comfort you could need. Completely stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and linens, and even toys and games for kids and families. What makes this property so special and unique are the beautiful grounds (lawn, garden, pond, fountain), the exceptional game barn, and the wonderful pool (which has great outdoor seating not shown in the pictures). Our family had an absolute blast enjoying these amenities! The property is quiet and peaceful, a gorgeous spot to enjoy the sunset and stars, and conveniently placed to enjoy other sites in the area. Christine is very responsive and kind with communicating and answering questions. We couldn’t have had a better experience, thank you!

Perfect getaway house

This house was great - even better than the pictures. We made use of the large open grassy area outside, the game room, and the pool. Kitchen was super well stocked with appliances, spices, etc. Both the adults and kids all loved the house and Christine was very easy to communicate with. Only complaint was the beds were a little hard for my liking but would definitely stay here again!

Pics don’t do it justice!

This was a perfect location for our family’s celebration of our dad’s 80th birthday. 7 of us stayed comfortably in the main house and my sister rented the studio on the property. Both the main house and studio are spacious, comfy and well equipped. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful, and the “barn” (game room) was perfect for the kids. Christine was a great host and very communicative. Definitely hoping to stay there again!

Perfect getaway in wine country

Lovely home with plenty of space to relax outdoors. Had great communication with the owner. Close to Paso Robles, but feels like a retreat. Would absolutely recommend!
