We loved our stay at Top of the Pine! House was clean and had plenty of places to relax after exploring the area all day. The kids loved the pool area. We even had some wildlife come through the backyard. Kids loved to see the deer. Quick responses and great communication with host.

Close access to the community pool and we had plenty of room for our family. Within driving distance of deadwood and spearfish. Management was very responsive when we had issues with the hot tub. Would definitely stay at this location again.

Wonderful area

Everything at this rental lived up to our expectations. Nice quiet area. Only complaint we had was the hideabed was broken so the two kids had to sleep on the floor.

Great home and neighborhood for Family vacation.

The check-in process for the vacation rental was a breeze! Everything was incredibly clean and the instructions provided by the host were so clear and thorough that we didn't encounter any issues during our stay and didn't need to contact them at all. The only minor downside was the condition of the larger community pool. It seemed a little cloudy, which might have been due to needing to be cleaned or needing an adjustment to the pool chemicals. However, the area surrounding the house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very easy to access.

Just Perfect

This was the most well appointed VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Such a wonderful weekend. I also greatly appreciate the flexibility of the property manager to allow us to change dates last minute when COVID hit our group. Will definite return next time we are heading to Lead / Deadwood.

Incredible cabin stay for a family birthday / reunion!

What an amazing cabin!!! We could not have been more pleased with our stay for our dad's / grandpa's 70th birthday weekend. We were able to comfortably fit 8 adults and 6 children with everyone having a bed. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, in particular the hot tub which was a lovely treat after a day of skiing! Furthermore, the proximity of this place from Deadwood / Lead / Terry Peak was ideal. Our only suggestions would be to have a more accessible TV guide since it was a bit difficult to figure out the channels (we were trying to watch one of the football playoff games and ultimately were able to, but only after a few tries). That being said, once we had it up and running the downstairs theater room made for an amazing place to watch the game all together! 10/10 would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for hosting us!

The perfect family ski vacation

The house was beautiful and tastefully decorated. There were 12 people in our group and everyone had their own bed. The house was adequately stocked with towels and extra blankets. The kitchen was comfortable and fully equipped. We went skiing in Terry Peak just a few minutes away. In the evenings the teenagers watched movies and series in the Theater Room, while the adults enjoyed their own entertainment in the living room area or hot tub. There were many restaurants in nearby Deadwood. Could not have asked for a better property for this experience.

Really enjoyed the property. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Would love it more if it had some outdoor games like basketball hoop, or bean bag toss. Great location too!

Great getaway

We had a great time and really enjoyed this home! Perfect for my 12 immediate family members. The beds were very comfortable and the space was perfect for eating, relaxing and having entertainment! Only concern we would mention is the 2 pools at the community center need to be cleaned more often. Our family all experienced hair sticking to them while swimming. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
