Entire Beach Cottage- 5 min walk to the beach!

This beautiful beach cottage is ideal for 4-6 guests. Stroll to the beach from an Oceanside Getaway.

There is private parking to fit 2 large cars- especially for the comfort of our guests. There are entertaining areas in front of the house- a large garden and also a back garden - the back garden includes amenities including a washer and dryer and a small vegetable garden (with fresh tomatoes and lemons).

Of course fast Wifi is available along with TV (including entertainment through fire tv).

Breathe in the ocean air at this beach cottage in Oceanside. Surrounded by Californian greenery this bungalow blends coastal and boho design elements.

There is outdoor seating in the back garden with a shed to fit bikes and surfboards. Perfect getaway or location to stay for long periods of time as all amenities are available and replenish able by the host. Any guest who checks out late will be deducted for $50/hour - out of the refundable damage deductible

Listing stated 5 minute walk to beach, total walk time was 12-15 minutes and it was to a rocky area that was more of a lookout point than "beach". Closer to 20 minutes to a usable beach. Different furniture than was shown in picture, as well as no AC in master when there was one shown in the listing pictures. Did upgrade living room TV better than the picture. Also used selling point of the usable garden in backyard and showed in pictures, however this was taken out. Communication and cleanliness was great.

It was a cozy property with a great fenced front and back yard just a 10 minute walk to the ocean. The neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was small but had most things that you needed to cook.Things that would make it 5 stars would be having 6 sets of dishes (bowls, plates, cups), and bedding ready for the two twin bed, the queen bed and the sofa bed.

Get away with grand girls

The closest beach is walkable if you’re not carrying much, but not doable for enjoying. There is a big slope going down and it’s very rocky. We ended up driving to Carlsbad to enjoy their beach. Beds were comfortable, but kitchen needs some TLC. You literally have to open the door to the outside to open one of the kitchen drawers. The bedroom door was literally falling off the hinges when we arrived, and I notified the manager. The bedroom door will not open all the way because the bed is too long and blocks it. The area is also a bit sketchy. Other than that, the place was OK.

Amazing Deal

Great house with 2 parking spots. The property is on a big lot, house is modest, clean with plenty of space for my family of 4. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and supplies. I loved the ring safety feature outside the house, always felt safe. Great indoor and outdoor space!

Beach vacation

The neighborhood was a little run down, but the house is very cute and clean. We didn't walk to the beach from the house, but it was a very short drive to a parking lot closer to the part of the beach we wanted to use.

The place is great, clean and the location was good. The only thing is that we did have a couple cockroach in the kitchen that we got rid of. The walk to the beach is about 5 mins but there's not really beach access. Other than that, would recommend and stay again.

Nice small place, needs more seating

It was a little further from the beach than I realized. In the older southern part of Oceanside. But the neighborhood was safe to walk. The house was clean with new linens, the washer/dryer were in good shape. Also a small charcoal grill available to use. A couple items could be changed, the outdoor chair cushions were in rough shape, and you couldn’t open a drawer in the kitchen unless you had the back door open. Looked like the door knob and dead bold needed swapped. The fridge has a bunch of old condiments and the spice cabinet had old spices that need thrown out. Wish there would have been a love seat or two more chairs instead of a desk in the living room. We moved the kitchen table chairs into the living room for our stay. It sleeps 5 but it really only seated 2-3 people in the common areas.

Very amenable

It was very clean and amenable. It could use a few more kitchen items. Hosts were very quick to bring extra towels and kitchen items. It was very cold for California and the heat didn’t cover very well but we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay in Oceanside!

This was such a cozy spot, just the right size for our family of 4 (kids 10 and 7). The important parts were clean, the bedding was soft and cozy, and it had all the amenities we needed. We really appreciated the beach chairs located in the laundry room. Parking was easy and we had good access to stores and the beach!

Too little for too much

No dishwasher or dish drying rack. No toaster. Neighborhood sketchy- homeless. Very expensive for what we got. Would not go back even if cheaper.

Short getaway

We had a couple days of spring break we wanted to enjoy in the area before we headed to Legoland and this little cottage was a great option! Great front yard for our kids to enjoy with a fence so we could let them enjoy both inside and outside. It was cozy and just enough!

Vacation Beach Time

My husband and I travelled down to Southern California with a 3 of our older children to enjoy the sunshine and beach! The house was in a good location in proximity to a variety of places to eat and shop. Personally, we loved having the convenience store so close by! The house was small but quaint exactly what we expected and we enjoyed having the privacy of our own dwelling. We spent every late evening sitting outside in the backyard enjoying the evening weather and the company of our family. The host was extremely responsive to any communication and always friendly and courteous. We were even notified when the rental happened to be ready earlier than the 3 PM. check in time to give us the opportunity to arrive early, if we wanted. If we were in the area again, we would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time staying here, check-in was easy and communication was great about everything we needed to know about the property. Very convenient location as well, close to the beach, San Diego and Los Angeles. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Confidentiality book this beautiful home

We came here for our ten year anniversary trip for four nights. Some of the other reviews don't do it justice at all. This home was pristinely clean, private, safe, beautifully decorated, and in a convenient location. It is on a completely independent lot which was hard to find in this price range. Make sure to ask other rentals if you share the lot at all, they might not disclose it/make it clear until you ask. You are not sharing any space with any other rental units.... and you have a huge front yard with ample street parking and space for two cars in the driveway. There was also an adorable private back yard with romantic lights and a table. The living room had a large awesome new TV not pictured in the current photos with Netflix and streaming/ample wifi. It also had a comfy pull out bed if you have extra guests. It was just us (a couple in our 30's) and the amount of space was luxurious and perfect. The bed and pillows were comfy and it was stocked with all of the amenities you would need and more. The location is awesome. You can see the beach when you turn onto the street. It's closer to the Safari Park than San Diego is (30 min drive) and we were able to Door Dash/quick Uber to amazing restaurants that blew us away (Mangia e Bevi for Italian and Blue Ocean Robata for sushi were our favorites). 7-11 is right behind the back yard and we found that so convenient to grab orange juice in the morning or a beer and snack at night with a ridiculously short walk. They had AC, and heaters that worked great for our rare Southern California cold nights. Easy modern check in. Quiet chill neighborhood. As someone who spends way too much time at work researching a vacation I would definitely book this amazing home again, and the owner was a sweetheart and very responsive.

Nice small home

House was cute and in a convenient location near many shops and restaurants. Our check in was any time after 3pm and we arrived a bit early but the place still being cleaned for another 20 minutes after 3pm. The place was clean for the most part but it smelled a lot like cigarettes which was an incovenience while we did have a toddler with us. We had to make a run to buy candles and air freshner to neutralize the bad odor. If you travel with kids or dont want to experince a smoking environment this is not the place for you.
