Amenities: Central Heating & A/C, W/D, Microwave, Dishwasher, Streaming TV Only , DVD, WiFi, Jacuzzi Tub, Waterfront Decks, Private Pier on Shallow Water, Outside Shower, Charcoal Grill. Linens and towels are provided.

From the first moment you step into this custom-built waterfront home you'll never want to leave! Offers sweeping views of Little Oyster Bay, large, covered veranda and private sundeck off upstairs main suite with Jacuzzi Tub. Downstairs offers 1st level owner suite with bathroom, nicely appointed living area and large kitchen leads out to waterfront deck. Upstairs you will find a lovely owner suite with full bathroom and jacuzzi tub. Office/BR (semi private) and 3rd level bedroom. Private dock for crabbing and fishing and don't forget your kayak! Linens and towels are provided.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund  of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

A "Sunrise" Experience Well Remembered

In our 20+ years visiting Chincoteague every summer, "Sunrise" is by far the best place to stay--the views by themselves are highly worthwhile. Overall, a great experience at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Million dollar views of the bay!! We had a great time crabbing off the dock. All supplies were in the garage for that. We're 2 couples. Both Master suites suited us very well. Me and Mom have a high standard of clean. Not everyone does?

Deep hole

The property is not how it’s advertised. To say there is four bedroom is a lie. There are two bedrooms, a sitting area with a bed and a wet basement with a stained smelly futon.

Beautiful location close to everything. House was well appointed. It was not the cleanest but tolerable. Attic room carpet was filthy. Privacy with 7 people an issue as 5 adults shared 1 bathroom. Otherwise great experience. Sheets and towels not provided which for the price is ridiculous. And at the price I paid expecting me to vacuum and take the trash to the curb was a bit much.

There was no remote for the ceiling fan on the upper level so unable to use it at all. There was a bag of trash left in the kitchen when we arrived. There were no wine glasses. We bought 6 and left them for the next person to use. The futon in the basement was not a good sleeping option at all. One of the chairs on the deck was broken. One suggestion to increase functionality of the pier would be to add a ladder so you can climb out of the water safely after paddleboarding.

Best large home on the island

The fishing and crabbing was so good we shut down operations early because we caught our fill . The facilities are clean and the rental staff is easy to deal with .

There was mold in the top floor ceiling air vents, and mold in the cabinets where pots and pans were stored. The shower upstairs leaked like crazy and the top floor bed frame and mattress were broken and in terrible shape and needing to be replaced.

When I think of a Chincoteague vacation this house has it all. Rooms were very spacious especially the open kitchen and dining area. Balconies were nice and the morning sunrises were gorgeous. We enjoyed eating our dinners out on the balcony also. I would definitely rent this house again.

We have stayed many places on the Island, and this home was by far one of the best ones yet. I would highly recommend this home. The views are breath taking! The home was clean, large, and easily accommodated our family. The boys loved fishing, and crabbing off of the private pier. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Very Nice 3 Bedroom house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this property in August 2022-our 18th summer on the island. We loved the view over Little Oyster Bay and some of the comfort of this home including the open floor plan, the two master bedrooms and the attic bedroom. This is really a 3 bedroom house that comfortably sleeps 6. The basement bed is not in a bedroom and has a concrete floor adjacent to the garage and is not clean or comfortable. Do not plan to use that bed or room. The outside porch is lovely although it is not screened in and the mosquitos were plentiful until the town sprayed. Could use more porch furniture and a larger indoor kitchen table. Kitchen was pretty well stocked for a rental and we cooked all of our meals there. The dock was too high for our kayaks to launch so we went through the tall grass and had lovely bird sightings in the larger bay. The Assateague beach was as wonderful as always and we could see a NASA rocket launch from the porch! All in all a lovely stay but we had stress as we could not use the 4th bedroom. We are grateful that Harbour Rentals put one of our party up in another house which provided us with a very happy stay!

Great Location

Beautiful sunrises every morning and great views across Oyster Bay. Very close to anything you need in Chincoteague. Enjoyed both decks. Property is well appointed and comfortable though some things are starting to show their age. Look forward to returning.

Nice house, could use some repairs to things and touch up work

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed with my family for the week. Overall the house is nice. Though I don't consider it a 4 bedroom house. The bedroom that was created in the basement is just creepy and the bedroom all the way upstairs in the attic area is too hot. The house could use some paint on the outside and a power wash. All of the wood on the dock should be replaced. Also, the picnic table on the front right outside should be discarded. The internet doesn't always work that well. The television in the master bedroom upstairs doesn't work. Also, the surround sound for the tv downstairs doesn't work. Overall, all of these things need to be fixed before renting. Also, the house could use a new roof.

The house was well appointed and the layout fantastic with lots of space for our family (4 adults and 3 boys) to spread out and enjoy. There are two outside decks and the lower deck is shaded most of the day and usually has a nice breeze. A great place to relax with a book, enjoy meals, and do a bit of birding. It was hard to leave the view and peacefulness to enjoy the rest of the island. There is no walk-in access from the shore and no swimming but the dock extends over tidal marsh vegetation and we had so much fun crabbing off of the dock and kayaking. Crabbing kept he boys entertained for hours. We launched the kayak from the dock which was easy for the younger folks. Most of the docks nearby had ladders to facilitate water access and it is the one addition I would have liked to see but we did OK without. When we weren’t at the house, we were enjoying Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and the Assateague National Seashore which has a great sandy beach and waves for body-surfing and wonderful visitor centers. The kids spent a day at the water park and one rainy day we visited the NASA Wallops Island Visitor Center that features some hands on exhibits for kids. There is something for everyone on Chincoteague Island. We are birders so love the refuge but the kids loved activities. There are all kinds of restaurants but the house was fully equipped so we enjoyed many dinners on the back deck. We have visited Chincoteague many times for birding but this was our first weekly rental our adult children and grandchildren and we couldn’t have been happier with the house and our stay on Chincoteague.

Peaceful

Wonderful home, very peaceful overlooking water. Family enjoyed crabbing off of the pier . We will continue to rent this home in the future. Very cool that my mothers artwork is hanging in the living room window! She and my father retired to Chincoteague years ago and seeing her artwork in the window was a little “Godwink” letting us know she is around. (She was friends with the owners) Highly recommend this rental.
