Great place, clean, quiet, great view, hot tub in our room, kitchenette. A lot of things you don't usually get at a normal hotel. One thing I would recommend adding is some reflectors along the driveway coming down the hill from the main road, it is kinda difficult to see when it is dark.

Gayle: Thank you for taking the time to share your review. I am glad you enjoyed being so close to the Park entrance. Hopefully you were able to eat at the Trailhead Restaurant which is right before the entrance to the Park at least a couple of times. You are correct that most other restaurants would be before you reach Fawn Valley. Your unit has a kitchenette so you can prepare quick items. In the future, we do have units that are located near downtown and we will gladly assist you with choosing a unit that works best for you. We hope you can visit again. Jamie

Fawn Valley Inn

Clean and easily accessible. The room was perfect for two people. I like that they don't do room service checks. I like my privacy so it was nice to be able to have that.

Weekend Stay

We arrived at the property after the front desk was closed. They had our check in information and keys conveniently located right outside the entrance. The staff were all very nice and accommodating with any needs we had. The property is in a great location minutes away from downtown Estes Park and the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Estes Park!

Comfortable room, close to RMNP entrance.

Room had every thing we needed. Front desk was able to keep us supplied with full caffeine for the Kureg. Lovely deck over looking creek, nice to sit and listen to the water. For safety, a step stool to help get into and out of jetted tub would be good as well as a good bath mat. The bath and hallway tiles were very slippery when wet.

It was peaceful

The whole stay was amazing but I did have an issue with our shower door not closing all the way. Also, the bed was smaller than advertised. It is cozy. Fireplace is amazing and the jacuzzi was nice. It does slowly drain thought when plugged

Great location for entry to Rocky Mountain National Park

Location was the best part of this place; only 0.5 miles to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The room itself seemed out out-dated and the jacuzzi tub took up a huge portion of the room. The fireplace was a nice addition. The kitchen section was extremely small with a very small refridgerator. Also it is on lower floor and all luggage needed to be carried up and down stairs. If you are planning to spend most of your day into evening in the park and not do meals in the room then it is an ok place to stay. In addition the laundry room was only open from 9-4:00 - the time when you will most likely be at the park. This place reminded me of a college dorm from the 70’s.

Michele: We are sorry that you had concerns with your stay. We are glad you enjoyed the location, and hopefully you had some time to sit out on the patio and listen to the sounds of Fall River. The photos accurately show the size of the unit, and the smaller kitchenette. The shortest way to the unit is to take the stairs, but there is a ramp leading to the lower level if you were hoping to avoid stairs. Please, in the future, if you are not satisfied with the layout of the unit, contact us and we can look for options. We have units that are one bedroom condos with full kitchens and more floor space. Feel free to contact us prior to your next stay and we will work with you to find the best unit for your needs. We value our guests and hope they enjoy their stay with us. Jamie

RMNP Gateway

Overall, this is a cost effective option with an excellent location to get to RMNP. The property is simple and plain. Nothing great, nothing bad. Our keys/entry packet was missing when we arrived, so we had to call the emergency property management number and they send a worker to give us our keys and info (about a 15 minute wait). The room is simple and basic accommodations are met. If you are looking for a basic place to have a place to lay your head after visiting RMNP this is perfect. If you are looking for a fancier place, this is not the place for you. It was good for what we were looking for, as we were barely in our room. Everything was clean and no issues.

Jordan: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy you could take advantage of being so close to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. We were glad that we had a staff on property that could quickly provide a key/welcome information to you right after you placed the call. We have done some additional training with staff on the mistake that was made. Please feel free to contact us and share more details about your thoughts on the unit being a basic accommodation. For future stays, please call us and share some amenities you are looking for, and we can direct you to a unit that would work best for you. We appreciate our guests' input and want to know how we can improve. Jamie
