Ti Cabanon. Sea view apartment in the center of Deshaies

Ti Cabanon is a beautiful apartment located on the first floor, right in the center of the village of Deshaies, with its shops and the sea at your feet. The terrace offers incredible panoramic views with access to the sea.


There are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms (1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds), a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, a bathroom with a shower and sink, 2 toilets. Please note that one of the 2 bedrooms located in the middle of the apartment has just a window overlooking a corridor and not the outside.
The dining area is located on the terrace with a breathtaking view of Deshaies Bay.
Wi-Fi internet connection, television.
Please note that parking is chargeable in Deshaies (€8/day). There is a free parking lot 300m from the apartment, located at the top of a fairly steep hill.
Many activities on site: scuba diving (corals, multicolored fish, sea turtles), big game fishing, jet skiing, Grande Anse beach 1 km away, the Botanical Garden, former home of COLUCHE less than 1 km away. The COUSTEAU reserve, and its parks where you will discover the fauna and flora of the Antilles. Kayaking, horseback riding. River. Leisure park. Restaurants, Soufrière volcano, Carbet waterfalls, house of cocoa, coffee, vanilla.

Zentrale Lage im Paradies

Zentrale Lage mit direktem Strand-/Meerzugang und fußläufige Erreichbarkeit von Bäcker, Lebensmittelläden, „Death in Paradies“-Drehorten, dadurch aber sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts laut. Freundliche Ansprechpersonen und Eigentümer. Leider keine eindeutige geregelte Müllentsorgung: Man wurde darauf verwiesen, seinen Hausmüll entweder in den Privatmüllcontainer des nächstgelegenen Supermarktes oder in die Parkmülleimer am Hafen zu schmeißen. Parkplatzbeschreibung irreführend: Parken in direkter Nähe zur Unterkunft nur für 30 Euro pro Tag möglich, aber wie zu bezahlen ist, war völlig unklar, da Parkautomaten nur für maximal 8 Stunden ausgelegt. Es wurde auf eine kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit am Friedhof auf einem Berg (ca. 23 Höhenmeter) in 300 Meter Entfernung verwiesen.

Highly Recommend!

My partner and I stayed here in January of 2025 and had one of the best holidays we have ever had! The Good:-Location is amazing. Just under an hour to the airport, 45 minutes to a large Carrefour supermarket, easy to use as a base for exploring both sides of the island. -Property is a bit dated but with two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus the large ocean front deck (where we spent most of our time when at the property), it wasn't a problem.-Double bed was so comfortable!-Kitchen was small but well-equipped.-Close to restaurants, patisserie, small supermarkets, and for fans of Death in Paradise, you are centrally located between the police station (the real one is right next door) and both of the restaurants used as Catherine's bar.-Walking distance to a small beach in town but also direct beach access at the bottom of the stairs.-The flat was clean and tidy and very comfortable.What to know:-The AC in the living room doesn't work and it gets hot in there. -You cannot leave and lock the door without both keys which was a bit of a hindrance as I wanted to go out whilst my partner was napping but it was a choice between leaving the door unlocked or leaving my partner without AC.-It can get very loud in the morning when everyone in town wakes up, just close the storm doors.-TIP: make reservations at restaurants as soon as you get there or you won't get in anywhere to eat!We had an amazing time, thank you!

Vue incroyable

Une vue magnifique dont nous ne nous pas lassée durant nos 2 semaines. Appartement très bien équipé, spacieux. Plein centre ville avec ses avantages (commerces sur place) et ses inconvénients (du bruit le matin : circulation). Séjour merveilleux !

Location au top

Avons séjourné que 5 jours dans se super logement, beaucoup trop court à notre goût. Emplacement idéal, proche de tous les commerces mais surtout du centre ville et de la plage du magnifique village de deshaies Appartement très propre et fonctionnel avec tout le nécessaire pour y séjourner et une vue à couper le souffle. Un accueil sympathique et sans prise de tête comme on les aime. Nous y retourneront c'est certain 👍👌

Wonderful place

Very relaxing! Right in center of the small town. Parking is easy on the streets. Marie was easy to communicate with. Snorkeling right from the back of the building was great; go towards the rocks to the right. We would have preferred to have one more comfortable chair in the living room. Overall, it was lovely and I would come here again.

Super Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung befindet sich im 1. Stock über einen Andenkenladen mitten in der Stadt mit Blick auf die Kirche. Die Übergaben bei Ankunft und Abreise waren völlig problemlos. Marie hat sich super um alles gekümmert. Die Wohnung ist sehr praktisch und funktionell eingerichtet. In beiden Schlafzimmern und im Wohnbereich befinden sich neuwertige Klimaanlagen. Markise und Lüfter sorgen auf der Terrasse für ein erträgliches Klima. Alle Geräte sind mit Fernbedienungen ausgestattet. Auf der Terrasse befindet sich zusätzlich zur Kühl-/Gefrierkombi in der Küche noch ein Tiefkühlschrank. Und sehr angenehm war auch die Spülmaschine. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, es fehlte an nichts. Die Bademöglichkeit mit der eigenen Frischwasserdusche am eigenen Strand/Treppenaufgang ist genial. Wir waren jeden Tag aufs Neue fasziniert von der traumhaften Aussicht von der Terrasse. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Terrasse de rêve sur le port de Deshaies

Appartement idéalement situé en plein cœur de Deshaies, très fonctionnel, très calme, avec terrasse balcon donnant sur le port. Vue de rêve à toute heure de la journée et plongée possible dès la descente. Accueil adorable de Marie, punch à l'appui. Une pensée très affectueuse à José qui nous a régalés de sa musique et sa gentillesse... On y retournera, c'est évident !!!

Just perfect

Nothing we can say here will do this place justice. For us, it was the perfect holiday home - right in the centre of town, with balcony views overlooking the hustle and bustle of daily life at one end and over the yachts bobbing in the bay at the other. A lot of the other properties we looked at were up in the hills around the bay and would have involved a steep hike to come in and out to shop or visit restaurants. Here, all we needed to do was pop out of the front door. The flat is chic and smarter than it looks in the photos. The bed was comfy and the kitchen exceptionally well equipped. The location of the main bedroom in the centre of the property means that it is quiet and not disturbed by the sounds of the town. The back balcony is the highlight though and we spent most of our time relaxing out here, listening to the waves lap on the beach, watching the dive boats and tenders arrive and depart from the jetty and being mesmerized by the amazing sunsets. The small staircase leads straight down to the sea so you can swim directly outside the property and the snorkeling is surprisingly good here too. On returning to the balcony, there is an outside tap/ hose to rinse off with - which saved us traipsing sand indoors! Deshaies itself is a lovely little town with friendly locals and good facilities. There's a couple of small supermarkets, a couple of veg stalls, a great bakery (the queue for which is a good place to catch up on the gossip in the morning!), and lots of good restaurants. There are a number of tourist shops, but not so much as to dominate - the place still has a local feel. Transport can be an issue, we wanted to use the buses as we had done on other islands but they were very infrequent and irregular and timetables were completely unreliable. If you want to get out and about, you'll need a car (or a boat!). The other point to note is that you'll need to speak at least basic french here - a few restaurant staff spoke a smattering of English, but this was the exception rather than the norm. Marie and Jean-Marc were incredible hosts - always there to help without being intrusive. They were quick to respond to questions via email, picked us up from the airport late at night and dropped us off again. They also helped us to collect/drop off our hire car when we gave up on buses but realized that we couldn't get to the hire car place and were giving up hope of being able to see the rest of the island. A real highlight of our holiday.

Très bon emplacement pour cet appartement traversant. Un côté rue commerçante et belle terrasse sur la mer de l'autre. Très bonne literie et tout le confort pour un séjour agréable. Merci à Marie pour son accueil et ses conseils. Nous reviendrons.

Vue exceptionnelle

Nous sommes une famille de 6 et nous avons séjourné 6 nuits dans cette maison. Une vue splendide sur la mer que l'on ne se lasse pas de regarder surtout lorsque le soleil se couche. Baignade avec des poissons dans une eau turquoise avec un accès direct depuis la terrasse. La maison est agréable toutes les pièces ont la climatisation. Toutes les commodités sont à proximité. Une belle semaine.

emplacement tres bien; belle vue, sur le port, mais une rénovation est a envisager absolument dans toutes les pieces hormis le coin cuisine qui a été refait.la partie salon manque de confort le canapé lit demande a étre remplacé et quelques fautueils seraient les bienvenus.les chambres a moderniser. attention aux blattes dans la cuisine ce n'est pas agréable.

Fantastic view

The apartment is very basic but functional. Once you open the door there are very steep steps to reach the appt, though they are manageable The main road is at the door to the appt and there is a church 50 metres away that chimes it's bells from 6am to late in the evening. Good thing was that after a couple of days we didn't notice the noise any more.. Jose, the neighbour, is such a wonderful, warm and friendly guy who gave us lots of advice. The view is sensational and we spent most evenings watching the sun go down, with a nice bottle of wine... Deshaises is a great place to stay

Nous avons passé 9 jours magnifiques dans ce petit paradis .( ideal pour 2 couples amis) Nous étions heureux tous les soirs de rentrer a l'appartement voir le coucher de soleil Deshaies est un petit bourg plein de charme et l'appartement idéalement placé près des commerces et restaurants . Si nous revenons en Guadeloupe , c'est Là !!! ( petit bémol : sol et mobilier de la terrasse vieillots )

Super séjour : endroit extraordinaire , pêche au gros (revenge ), à deux pas des plus belles plages

Super accueil, l’emplacement est idéal la terrasse surplombe la mer . Les voisins sont l’hotel De police et l’hotel De ville. Toutes les commodités sont à proximitées . Attention si vous avez un problème avec les escaliers car l’habitation est à l’etage Et bien entendu il faut redescendre pour acceder à la plage . Notre fille de 7 ans se débrouillait toute seule .

Un peu cher pour ces prestations

Prix élevé pour un appartement fonctionnel. Manque de fraîcheur. Notamment; salle de bain (bac douche, peinture, chambres en bref l'ensemble de l'habitation mérite un coup de jeune ). Encore des cafards (cuisine et 1ère chambre). Positif: la chambre agréable avec balcon. Climatisations (3) parfaites. le TOP LA VUE IMPRENABLE sur la baie et ses bateaux. Une nouvelle fois encore merciiiiiiii à Marie et Jean-Marc toujours à l'écoute pour nous. Restez comme vous êtes COOLLLLLLLLLL.
