Parfait, à recommander.

Vue imprenable sur la baie de Deshaies. Appartement très bien équipé (cuisine, lave linge, repassage, clims ...). Deux salles de bain et deux WC, ce qui procure un réel confort. Didier Rault, le propriétaire, est charmant, prévenant, nous a donné de bons conseils pour les différents sites à visiter. Une bouteille de planteur préparée "maison"nous attendait dans le frigo à notre arrivée. Merci Didier pour tout. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Super schönes Apartment in traumhafter Lage

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief hervorragend, Didier und seine Frau sprechen Englisch und sind ausgesprochen nett. Das Apartment ist wunderschön und neuwertig. Die Betten sind bequem, Klimaanlage vorhanden. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler vorhanden. Das absolute Highlight ist der wunderbare Blick auf die Bucht und den Hafen von Deshaies. Der Ort, der Grande Anse und der botanische Garten sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Jederzeit wieder!

Vue magnifique. Situation idéale. Très propre et en bon état. Avons adoré l'endroit et le village.

Tout était tel que nous nous attendions. Propriétaire accueillant. Emplacement idéal pour être dans l'action du village. Très bons restaurants aux alentours accessibles à pied pour la plupart. Grand appartement confortable et en bon état. Il manquerait seulement quelques draps et serviettes de rechanges ... toujours pratique 😉 mais nous avons beaucoup appréciées notre séjour et y retournerions avec le plus grand des plaisirs.

room with a view

This view of the harbor is possibly the best in all of Deshaies. A real treat to look out from the apartment. Very clean and peaceful. comfortable beds and nice big walk in showers. We could walk to town in just a few minutes. 6 or 7 excellent dinner restaurants. A very nice boulangerie, excellent pastries and fresh baguettes. easy, close drive the some of the best beaches and snorkeling. Didier, our host, was very pleasant and professional. easy to talk to. I highly recommend staying here

Spacious and comfortable property with wonderful view, convenient to Deshaies

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was exactly as we had hoped: spacious, comfortable, with an incredible picture window overlooking the harbour, and five minutes walk from the shops and restaurants in the centre of Deshaies, itself a fantastic base for a holiday of beaches, mountains, luscious rain forests and delicious food and drink. Didier was a most welcoming host - extremely responsive to emails, and generous in both his recommendations and attention to detail (like helping us secure a dinner reservation when we arrived late from the airport). We'll be back.

Nous avions loué cet appartement pour la vue et je peux vous assurer qu'elle est encore mieux que sur l'annonce, on ne s'en lasse pas...sinon l'appart est parfait, nous n'étions que 2 donc largement assez grand pour nous. accès très facile à Deshaies et bon point de départ pour la visite de toute cette côte qui est superbe. Excellent accueil du propriétaire et excellente bouteille de planteur de madame...

Just wonderful!

The apartment is just as pictured and the view is incredible. The location just on the edge of Deshaies is perfect and very convenient. The furnishings are complete and of good quality (kitchen fully functional and easy to use, bedrooms comfortable.)The landlord, Didier, is communicative and exceptionally caring and thoughtful. We will stay here again!

Great apartment in in Deshaies!

Me and my boyfriend and my mother stayed at this apartment January 18-27, 2017. It was perfect for our needs. It is just as described. My mom stayed in the bedroom on the bottom floor and we stayed upstairs. The kitchen was great, as I like to occasionally cook. It had everything you need (stove, pots/pans/etc). The view from the window was amazing, and on some days, you can see Montserrat in the distance! The owner Didier was very helpful and even helped up make a dinner reservation when we arrived. The location is great too and the town has lots of dining options. I don't have anything negative to say. Just make sure (on the last day) that you have extra cash to pay the electric bill and a fee for the local town. We didn't know that required until that last day, so just a reminder that you will have to pay that. I'm guessing this is standard. I would highly recommend this apartment if you need a place with 2 bedrooms in a convenient and beautiful location in Guadeloupe. I would love to return there soon!

A lovely apartment with character

The apartment is very comfortable and has character due to a combination of modern updated interior and bold island colors and natural wood furniture elements. The view is indeed outstanding and location can not be beat, walking distance to the village center ( two main streets with restaurants, Boulagerie for your morning pastries with coffee, pharmacy, small grocery store, fruit stands and so on). Didier is a very attentive host who promptly replied to my inquiries prior to our arrival, kindly met us in the center to guide us to the apartment at a rather late hour upon our arrival and answered all our questions. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children 9 and 12 years old. We were comfortable and had enough space. If you have small kids, open stairs to the loft upstairs might be a bit of an issue. For us it was worked great though. There are two spacious bathrooms which I think is great for a family. The air conditioning of bedrooms works well at night time. There is no moisture in the unit as you might often find in the islands. You will need to bring your own soaps and shampoos for the first day or so but everything is available at the store " Spar" in the village if your supply does not last. The owners provide: bedsheets, bathroom towels and kitchen towels. You will need your own beach towels. This vacation and simple living of Deshaeus leaft us feeling rested and relaxed. We are planning to come back and I recommended this place to several of our friends.

The Perfect Location for our Excellent Adventure

The apartment is close to the center of Deshaises and the best beaches on the island. It is also near to the beautiful botanical garden and the trails in the national park. Everything in the apartment is true to the pictures--a modern kitchen and bathrooms, attractive furniture, comfortable beds, a beautiful view of the town and harbor! Many thanks to Didier, our gracious host who supplied us with a wealth of information about the restaurants and local attractions....also a lovely bottle of planter's punch!! Merci! Herrliche Aussicht

Die Wohnung bietet ein tolles Panorama auf den Hafen von Deshaies, sowie auf den Ort selbst. Sie ist funktionell und liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts und wenn doch, bringt es der sehr sympathische Vermieter garantiert. In dieser Umgebung gibt es auch die schönsten Strände der Insel, deshalb ist dieses nette kleine Fischerdorf unser Favorit. Wir waren schon drei Mal auf der Insel und kommen sicher wieder. Wouah ! Quel appartement !!!

Très beau duplex, très bien équipé, idéal pour 2 couples, avec une vue imprenable sur Deshaies. Proche des commerces et restaurants. Great view and convenient to town.

Although the owner provides extremely detailed instructions on how to find the apartment from the PTP airport, it's really quite simple: just follow the large green signs from the airport to Deshaies, and when you reach the Port Royal Hotel near there, pull over and give him a call. He'll come down and take you directly to the apartment. Dedier was very helpful to us, and the apartment is everything it is advertised to be. The dishwasher and washing machine were a big help to us, and most of the time there was no need to use the air conditioners. It has plenty of utensils, plates, cookware, and glasses, and there are nice beaches and good restaurants a short drive away. We recommend Hemingway restaurant, just south of the apartments, as the best restaurant in the area. Downtown, you would be wise to make reservations if you want a restaurant table near the water, and in some cases, if you want to have a meal at all you have to have a reservation, at least during the high season. We were very pleased with this accommodation.

Fabulous view, terrific apartment

First of all, the view was magnificent. We never got tired of looking out the window, or sitting at the table in the kitchen and watching the harbor of Deshaies. That alone made the apartment a must-visit. But the apartment itself was charming, with modern, cool furnishings. The kitchen was very well equipped, with excellent stove, refrigerator, dish washer, etc. The living room or salon had an attractive sofa and two armchairs. Upstairs was a lovely loft bedroom with its own bath (where there was also laundry). Downstairs in its own alcove was another bedroom. We appreciated the air conditioning (la clime) and also the standing fan, since this was June. The location was also perfect for walking into town for morning croissants and the paper. There is even a tennis court nearby! Didier was very helpful, and I can recommend this apartment to a friend without reservation. We hope to stay again soon! The photographs were entirely accurate.

3 copains apprécions énormément DESHAIES,tranquille authentique,plages multiples et sympas à proximité,l'appartement en duplex super de chez super...à 5 mns à pied du bord de mer ,des commerces et cafés,la vue superbe de la baie n'est pas truquée dans l'annonce,l'équipement est complet et de bonne qualité,clims et ventilos.La déco est de bon goût (à notre avis) les sanitaires impeccables,le couchage super large et confort,les proprios: Didier et Nadia très sympas pas avares de conseils et propositions pour agrémenter notre séjour... Magnifique duplex très bien agencé et idéalement situé , face au port et à deux pas du centre du bourg . Location impeccable . Propriétaire sympathique , bien accueillant et de bons conseils . Idéal pour 2 couples ou un couple avec enfants. La vue sur la baie est incomparable .

Une location à conseiller !

Appartement très spacieux (duplex avec grands volumes), très agréable, extrèmement bien équipé, et proposant une vue superbe sur la baie de Deshaies ... Propriétaire (qui réside à quelques km) plus que sympathique, pas avare de bonnes adresses de lieux à visiter, restos ou activités, servible et disponible, soucieux de votre bien-être ... Deshaies, superbe petite bourgade animée, avec commerces et restaurants, un front de mer parmis les plus beaux de la Guadeloupe, avec une vrai vie hors du tourisme ... Situation géographique pratique pour visiter Basse Terre ... Bref, nous (couple avec 2 ados) avons particulièrement apprécié notre séjour dans cet appartement et vous le recommandons vivement !

tres bel endroit

venant d italie nous avons beaucoup aime l appartement et aussi que l on puisse aller au village a pied,nous avons aussi aime la climatisation et le peu de moustiques.nous etions trois et notre fille etait contente d avoir sa salle d eau personelle.l appartement est grand et confortable ,nous avons passe un tres bon sejour.et le planteur etait tres bon marcello,samia et martha
