We organize large groups trips with friends and families a lot. This was definitely a unique and different experience in a good way. The house is great. I was worried it'd have a funky old smell, since it's very historical, but IT DIDN'T. It's kept very clean and fresh. The requirement of no noise outside didn't bother us, as we didn't do much outside; but we did get a noise complaint when a couple of guests gut too emotional during a political argument, when having a smock on the parking lot (we're Ukrainians, emotions fly high right now). But it's on us, we understand that it''s tough on the neighbors. So, know your group - will it work for you?
One thing I need to mention, is that, while understandably, not all guest-rooms are equal, 8 of them were comparable, but one (Charlie Chaplin) was obviously a maid's room in past life, located downstairs by the kitchen. Plan carefully who you put in there :)
