Welcome to Rising Tides Properties Condo 608, a spacious and beautifully decorated one-bedroom, two-bathroom oceanfront condo located on the 6th floor in scenic Garden City Beach, South Carolina. With direct beach access, room to sleep six, and stunning views from your private balcony, this condo is perfect for families or small groups seeking comfort and convenience.

VRBO did not inform us all the amenities weren't available. I had to find out when I arrived. Pool and deck and path to beach without having to walk around the building to public access should be noted.

Great time in Garden City

Condo was great and the beach was perfect. Only complaint is the mattress needs replaced on the king bed, other than that, we would stay there again. .

Disappointed

The condo was nice and the view of the balcony was beautiful but the master bedroom bed was terrible. My back ached for days after two nights and I left early to return home to my bed it was so bad. My partner said the same thing that it was hard to sleep on for her as well.

Things good and things needing improvement

Good: 1. The view from the deck was awesome 2. Beds were comfortable. 3. Kitchen utensils plentiful - well stocked. 4. Refrigerator nice and cold - ice maker worked great. 5. The luggage carts were necessary and appreciated. 6. Proximity to the Marsh Walk (about 3 miles) Needs Improving: 1. Two rolls of toilet paper for the week - come on. They're 54 cents a roll at Costco. 2. Would be nice to have a salt & pepper shaker and some coffee filters - or at least inform us ahead of time to bring those items. 3. The lights in the kitchen need to be cut by half - you can perform surgery under the current lights. 4. It would be nice to have a guide on how to work the TV in the LR and BR. 5. The handle on the outside sliding door on the deck was missing. 6. There was no dish soap of dish drainer for the kitchen sink. 7. The bath towels need to be replaced - the towels were about as rough as 80 grit sandpaper. 8. Finally, there is a rule on Horry County beaches that ONLY umbrellas can be used for shade. We have a Shibumi that we could not use and had to go out and by a beach umbrella to use for the week. We had better umbrellas at home that we didn't bring - so it would have been nice to have some warning about the Horry County Beach Rules on shading before we got there. Overall it was a good place and a great location for the price.

Great place to stay!

Check in was easy and we got in two hours early. Condo was neat and clean. Just right for our crew of four!! View could not be beat! Our vacation stay was perfect! Thanks again and we will be back!!!

Excellent Location

We had a wonderful time and the property was clean and in the perfect location to nearby restaurants and shops. We loved having the ocean front view! Will be back!
