This was one of the best places we’ve stayed using Vrbo. We enjoyed the serene morning and evening views/kayaking on Hutchins Lake. Short drive to Lake Michigan beaches, Saugatuck and Douglas. You can see the peach orchard from the patio. The house was fully stocked with everything you need; kitchen, board games, kids books, movies etc. All around great place to stay. S’mores around the fire pit were a bonus each night.

Everything we could have hoped for and more! Great fishing and clear, clean water for swimming. Loved the kayaks, canoe, and stand-up paddle board. Beautiful and cozy home with everything we needed to be happy and comfortable. Loved the nearby winery and bakery. We could not have been happier!

Brower Cottage

We have stayed at Brower Cottage several times and always enjoy the time there. Fun in the lake, comfortable accommodations in the cottage, and lots of things to do in the area. Owners always make sure the stay is the best it can be.

Comfortable, clean and quiet getaway. From checkin to checkout each detail was thoughtfully planned and communicated. The cottage was clean with comfortable beds, a well appointed kitchen, relaxing living room, and a beautiful view of the lake. This was the perfect place to relax and unwind and we enjoyed coffee on the deck as well as sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the dock and kayaking in the lake. Fun antique malls nearby, as well as U pick farms, wineries, a donut and pie bakery and the quaint town of Fennville. Saugatuck, Holland and Lake Michigan were an easy 15-18 minute drive from the cottage which gave us a variety of things to do and places to eat out. Such a lovely stay!

Great Time at Brower Cottage

We had a great time at Brower Cottage. It is a wonderful cottage with a lot of fun activities on Hutchins Lake. We enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding. It was a fun experience that we hope to have again! Great communication with owners.

Quiet, clean get a away

Very quiet and clean. The cottage is in a secluded area with neighbors yet close enough to several towns making it easy to grab a meal, shop, hang out or if you needed something. Indoor amenities were modern and there were several outdoor spots to relax or enjoy nature, including the beautiful lake.

Another wonderful visit

This was our second time staying at Brower Cottage. We were happy to have perfect weather and be able to use the canoe and kayaks…perfect for our kids to learn and practice some independence on the water in a safe space. It was great! The cottage itself is so nice and cozy. The area is charming. We hope to return in the future!

Relaxing

We have stayed at Brower Cottage seven times. It's our dream get away. We also bring our dog, who loves swimming in the lake. Good food is near by and of course, Crane's pies. The owner is very easy to work with and very dependable. We will be back!

Our One and Only for a Great Michigan Getaway

Fall Getaway

My wife and I stayed at Brower Cottage for a week. The cottage is spotless and very updated. The wall of windows looking out on the lake is beautiful. Loved that were were able to bring our dog. Great location - easy to explore nearby Saugatuck/Douglas and Macatawa/Holland. Communication with hosts was great. Would highly recommend!

We love Brower Cottage

Brower Cottage is a great place to stay in the area. Very peaceful, lakefront with a pier. We caught some big fish, including a pike, right off the pier. The home is very well cared for and clean. The hosts are the best. Have come here 4 times now and will keep coming back. Just perfect for a get away, very close to many things but still removed from the Saugatuck crowds.

From the breathtaking view of the Lake through the large living room windows to the many amenities available, we could not have asked for a more perfect vacation cottage. Dog friendly, waterfront, plenty of room for the whole family, full kitchen, large windows and natural light, firepit, grill, close proximity to downtown Saugatuck. THANK YOU!

Brower Cottage - an excellent week

Brower Cottage on Hutchins Lake was perfect for our extended family we had three couples, 2 infants and 2 dogs for the week. The property was well maintained and beautiful. The house was very clean with a lot of updates. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, spices, oils - making our stay welcome and very comfortable. The hosts, Joe and Jamie, were easy to communicate with - the whole week was just a great family memory..

Great View, Great Location, Great Cottage

Enjoyed our time at Brower Cottage. The description and photos are spot on except in person the property is much better. Very clean and the kitchen has everything you need and more.... Our favorite activity was sitting above the lake and enjoying the quiet during the week except for the birds and chipmunks talking to each other. A plus was "Salt of the Earth" restaurant in Fennville where we ended up eating several times. Plenty to do in the area and close to many activities...thanks to Joe for being a great host and hope to see you in the future.

Relaxing girls weekend on the lake!

We had an amazing time at the Brower Cottage!! The owners were incredibly easy to work with, super responsive, and very kind! They made certain every question we had was answered and that everything was as expected on our arrival. The cottage was beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and even better than the pictures! We enjoyed the use of the canoe and kayak, had a bonfire out back, and spent many hours relaxing and talking on the deck by the lake...all of the makings for a wonderful girls weekend! Thank you so much, Joe & Jamie, for a wonderful getaway...we will definitely be back!!!
