Spectacular Lake Front Retreat

I probably should have responded to this review sooner, but I initially thought I would let our 7-year record of 100% positive/impeccable reviews speak for itself. However, since this person left out some key facts, and is telling others “Don’t book this property,” after NOT ACTUALLY STAYING THERE, I decided I should respond. Yes, I made a mistake with the cleaning schedule (which has never happened before), and I immediately called her once I realized it. I apologized and told her I would DOUBLE THE LENGTH OF THEIR STAY AND REFUND THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF THE BOOKING! I also offered her multiple solutions for the first night WHICH INCLUDED ME PAYING FOR THE ENTIRE GROUP TO STAY AT THE LAKE ARROWHEAD RESORT & SPA FOR THE FIRST NIGHT. I also offered her solutions that would allow for clean bedding if they preferred to stay at our property the first night, prior to it being cleaned the next morning. But she was very upset and insisted on leaving Lake Arrowhead. I wish she would have given me a chance to make it up to her…they would have loved the property! As you can see, we will do whatever it takes to make our renters happy. EVERY group that’s stayed at our lake house would attest to that, and most of them are repeat renters to prove it!
