Fully remodeled 2B/2B condo with stunning canyon, desert, and mountain views!

The condo is magnificently appointed with top-quality furniture and art throughout. The dining room, living room, and master bedroom have excellent mountain and desert views. The living room features a large flat-screen television and a sophisticated sound system. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a new king-size bed, which can be converted into two single beds.

The condo is located in the Greens community in Ventana Canyon which is well-known and highly respected in Tucson. It is close to excellent biking, hiking, shops, and restaurants. The Greens community has 3 pools, a fitness center, a barbecue, and a variety of social clubs. The complex is adjacent to the Ventana Golf Club.

A nice condo that has a beautiful view of the desert plants and mountains beyond. Comfortable for our party of 4. We didn’t have opportunity to utilize the pool. Patio was quiet and took advantage of the view. We found everything very clean and well cared for. Property manager was helpful in getting us some missing paper products. Location was perfect for our stay.

The place was lovely and as described (except the hummingbird feeder in the picture wasn't there) .... the patio is so lovely and was a great place for morning yoga. Access to so many great places and the pool was perfect after a long hot day of adventuring. Very well-equipped kitchen and the house had everything we needed.

A lovely month in Tucson!

We had a really nice month staying at this lovely condo! It is well appointed from kitchen items to comfy beds and furniture! We love the location, close to Sabino canyon, shopping, restaurants, and other attractions! The patio is very special with beautiful views of the mountains and desert ! Loved it!

We vacationed at Helena's lovely condo for just over a week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The property had everything we needed and we LOVED watching the hummingbirds in the early mornings and late afternoons...even the bobcat sighting was fun! Would love to book this condo in the future!

Location is convenient to northeast Tucson trails and amenities. Property is well designed with abundant pots/pans and cooking options. Area is well-kept and quiet. Highlight is the main floor patio that provides unobstructed view of Ventana Wash.

We really enjoyed our week long stay at the condo. It is exactly as photographed; beautiful and extremely well appointed. The views from the back deck are breathtaking! Explored Tucson from this great place!

We are a family of four and this condo was absolutely perfect for us to use as a home base and a place to relax in the evenings. Newly renovated and very comfortable - beds were great, living room was the perfect spot to watch some tv at the end of the day and we used the kitchen/dining room for a few meals and it worked great. Helena was extremely responsive and easy to work with, even offering some of her local suggestions which I’m always a huge fan of :) Thanks!

Relaxing

This property was exactly as seen on the VRBO site so we had no surprises. Beautiful scenery from the back patio, comfortable rooms inside, kitchen well stocked, and the location was so convenient for all of our excursions. We walked every day along N. Kolb for an early morning exercise. Close by restaurants, grocery and parks to hike. We hope to come back in the future!

Great location & view

The photos are completely accurate - quality furnishings, bathrooms, towels, dishes, etc. Everything worked perfectly - from self check-in to all appliances. The view of the mountain from the back patio is lovely. Because this apartment is on the ground floor we felt is was a bit dark inside - but Tucson usually offers brilliant sunshine outside so it isn’t a major issue. The complex is quiet and well maintained. We enjoyed our 8 night stay.

Has it all - Lovely Condo, Gorgeous View and Perfect Location!

We loved our stay here! The condo is beautiful, super clean and perfect for 4 people. Helena was so helpful and accommodating. She set up the second room with two twin beds for us, but it can also be setup as a King instead. The view is amazing and I loved watching the humming birds and other birds at the feeders on the beautiful back patio. Great kitchen and location is perfect! Close to hiking and popular attractions near Tucson. The condo was very well stocked with everything you might need. Stay here and you won't be dissapointed. When we come back, we will stay here again!

From the moment we drove into Helena and Bob’s neighborhood, we felt at home. The Greens is a peaceful place with winding paths, beautiful landscaping and a welcoming feeling. The condo is tastefully furnished and the kitchen stocked with cooking tools. There are even many books to read! Just beyond the private outdoor deck, the desert spreads out to the majestic Santa Catalina mountains. We enjoyed watching the abundant local birds, including colorful hummingbirds. The location is convenient for cycling and hiking. The pool is heated with a mountain view. Many conveniences are close by including restaurants and grocery stores. Helena and Bob are responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back to see those remarkable Tucson sunsets!

Very Nice Condo in Beautiful Desert Area

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the area and the condo. The condo has a split floorplan for privacy, the beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels and fully functional kitchen and a large kitchen table for playing board games. Pool nearby. Favorite part of the condo was the back patio and the mountain views - would be very nice in the cooler months to spend out on the patio - we were lucky to have multiple monsoon storms while we were there. Covered parking was nice, especially in the summertime in Tucson. Very easy access (via car) to Mt. Lemmon and many hiking trails. We did not find any hiking trails within walking distance though. Easy check in and check out. El Charro Mexican food restaurant just up the street - excellent food and it is very easy to order takeout! And a Bashas grocery store for everything we needed.

The most relaxing and beautifully furnished Vacation Rental I have ever stayed in!

I was looking for a tranquil retreat and I found it here. First the outside - I think I must have eaten all my meals on that patio, overlooking the desert and the mountains which change colors throughout the day. I also spent a lot of time looking at the giant saguaro cactus (the really big ones which are so famous in Arizona) that is right in front of the patio, and watching the hummingbirds feeding at the feeders they have put up around the patio. That patio and the views are just so relaxing - and I would definitely recommend booking the pool and hot tub which you can have for 2 hours all to yourself. Now for the inside, I am a cook and the kitchen is a real cook's kitchen - updated, really functional. The bathrooms are also nicely updated. The furhishings are high-end/expensive, which makes me think the owners might have lived there and furnished it for themselves, and then decided to rent it out and just left all the furniture - because this is not vacation rental furniture. It is all really nice furniture. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were really good quality. Overall the place feels like a boutique hotel. As for day trips, I would recommend hiking at Sabino Canyon which is stunning and the trail is only a 5-minute drive away. There you will see so many saguaro cactus. So to sum it up, this place is very relaxing and very beautiful and I will definitely be coming back.

Enjoyed this property!

We had a lovely one week visit. Property manager Naomi was very kind and responsive. The setting is beautiful, and near Sabino Canyon and Ventana Canyon trailheads for hiking. Condo had everything we needed for comfort and the kitchen is well appointed. Thanks for a great stay!

Helena and Dr. Robert Unger have lived in Boulder Colorado for the past 38 years where Helena is a recently retired mediator and Robert a soon to retire psychologist. They are world travelers, having biked and hiked in Bhutan, Peru, Cambodia, Japan, Columbia, Greece, and Italy, to name a few. Helena remains active in yoga, language study, and political work, while Bob continues his practice and remains an active motorcyclist and bicyclist. He was the Colorado State road racing champion in the 70-74 category 5 years ago and continues to actively participate in road and mountain biking. They have two married sons in their 30s, one an attorney in Denver and the other a corporate product director currently working in Tel Aviv.

Recently Helena and Bob traveled to Tucson on a whim where they immediately fell in love with the beautiful terrain, warm climate, and the relaxed, friendly multi-cultural atmosphere of the area. They were particularly attracted to the Greens community which is known for it’s very engaged social climate which includes many social clubs and activities and has easy access to biking and hiking. They bought this beautiful condo so that they would have a warm place to spend winter time and to share it with others when they aren’t using it.
