THE Little Red River Place 🎣

The Little Red River Place is a beautiful cabin on a sprawling wooded lot on the bank of the Little Red River. We are on a rare, secluded stretch of the river, with farmland on the opposite side of the river, so the views are breathtaking!

The cabin is very private, but near a variety of activities including hiking, biking, antiquing, water sports, and local restaurants. Relax on the screened porch and watch the river go by, stay warm by the outdoor fireplace, or catch trout from our dock.

The quiet location and river ambiance was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. The three bedrooms with three bathrooms is perfect for our party of six. (Many extra beds for larger parties.) My favorite part was the screened-in porch. Great kitchen appliances and supplies. The hosts are very communicative and helpful.

Great home in a quiet setting!

We enjoyed our stay very much! This hole is almost like a tree house , in the shade all around the property. Beautiful dock and view. Plus plenty of seating areas so everyone can spread out and enjoy their time !

It’s a great place all together beautiful views easy access to nearby towns. I love that it’s nestled in the trees. The dock allows for a beautiful view of the river.

Great place!

Three night stay with friends and family. House is located just steps from the river. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. Caught a total of 7 trout during our stay. Will definitely consider returning next year!

Cousins Fishing Trip

This is a great place to stay. It away from people even though it has neighbors. The fishing was good! Some of the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced or repaired. This was our third time to stay.

What an amazing cabin!

We had a fantastic experience at the River Place cabin. It is nestled in the woods, off the beaten path. Once we found it, we could not believe how cool it was being in the woods and right on the river. The screened in porch, the fire pit and the dock are all awesome and have an incredible view of the river. There was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy some relaxation. We will definitely be coming back again!

Perfect spot on the river

Ten of us stayed in this lovely home to experience the eclipse. The house is very spacious, and we were not all over each other at all. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. We brought our food and fixed all our simple meals in. There were no complaints about the beds. I was in contact with these hosts more than I usually am, and the responses were prompt and gracious. The following is not a criticism, but a fact that may help others. If you are traveling with someone with mobility issues, there are some roots to navigate getting to the entry. Then there are a few steps that are a little challenging-the ones going into the entry and the one going from the dining room to the living spaces. The river is beautiful and peaceful. I heard 24 species of birds. We had a beaver visit on the deck. We would stay here again.

Little Red River Place

We enjoyed our stay & the home was very clean & well furnished. Comfy beds! I would suggest bringing a leaf blower if you're staying during fall. Outside fireplace was great, but bring a few chairs if you have a large group. Our football crazy men were disappointed with only one TV upstairs that had bad reception. We were warned it could be spotty, but I think they could only get one channel. Didn't bother the lades, but heads up for the males in your group during football season. The four star rating I gave instead of five is due to the condition of the screened-in back porch. It was very comfortably furnished & pleasant when we had to retreat there due to rain, but the screens were in bad shape & very dirty on one end. And first impressions would be much better without the discarded chairs in the front & side yards. Our hostess & host was very prompt in replying to our questions. They also allowed us check in an hour earlier due to the time change. It would have been difficult to unload & get set up in the dark. Thanks so much! We enjoyed our visit and would stay again. Annual Cousins Fishing Trip

The house is great! This was our second time to stay here. Nice and quiet. The fish were biting. The only thing I would change is to have a tv downstairs, for people that have a hard time with stairs. We had a great stay!

Great location with amazing hosts

This was a great find for my family. The property was exactly as advertised. Location was easy to find and private. Everyone was happy with arrangement, everyone got their own space and also had plenty of space to gather around. Every problem that arose the hosts were fast communicators and able to solve all the problems. We had a wonderful experience. I would recommend this listing to anyone who is looking to stay in Arkansas.

While the weather wasn’t in our favor as much as we had hoped, the stay was still very relaxing and enjoyable. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortable and everything provided to make this stay nearly 100% hassle free. will be staying at this location again

Sisters, spouses and cousins trip

The house is so big! We had plenty of room. The fishing was good. The walk down was a little steep when the water was down, but manageable. We are aged 55-73 and went multiple times. We sat outside by the fireplace, it was great! Great place to get away!

The owner of this home treats you like they are sharing this home with you .. will stay here again it’s awesome ,close to everything if you want to do more than fish , very well stock with cooking utensils, towels wash clothes has washer and dryer ..

Ready to go back!

This place was, in short, amazing. We chose it as a close location for family to drive to for my father in laws birthday and what a success it was! Plenty of space and restrooms for everyone, dinner on the patio and coffee on the dock. It honestly couldn't have been a more relaxing, unplugged and reconnecting experience.

Great older house!

The house is a great older house, very easy to find. It has a house just next door but still feels very private. It doesn't have a yard but has a great back porch. The backyard is a steep drop-off and the stairs (slippery when wet) are definitely a good workout. It is a beautiful view and has great fishing. The house has a lot of items available in case you forget something. It feels very comfy and cozy. We had a great stay!
