Location and Luxury

LOCATION: The cottage is located in Chatham's old village, just a block from the ocean. The closest beach is Andrew Harding's and that connects to Lighthouse Beach. It's close enough to return home for lunch. NEW: The house was completely rebuilt in 2017 by a local builder, PSD. The house has a great design, high-quality workmanship and updated amenities. The gourmet kitchen opens to a generously sized family room with sofas and a dining table for 8. Upstairs are two bedrooms (one king and one with 2 twins) each with an ensuite marble bathroom. The lower level has a mudroom for beach stuff, a lovely well lit queen bedroom, full bath, laundry and a tv room with daybed.
THE YARD: The back door leads to a slate patio, table chairs, grill and a lush yard. We have beach chairs for your use

My family enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and was perfect for us. Less than 5 minute walk to beach and within walking distance to town. Would definitely book again.

Amazing

Beautifully renovated with classic cape charm, both inside and outside. Can't beat the location, and having access to beach chairs and boogie boards was clutch! Kitchen was very well appointed for a vacation rental and the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again on a return trip to the Cape.

A beautiful house on a perfect location. This spacious and bright house has everything you need, and then some, and everything is in perfect condition. Moreover, the location is equally perfect: very close to town--an easy 5 minute walk, perfect for walking to dinner and back or to get a coffee in the morning--and to Chatham light and Andrew Hardings beach. And with a wonderful host, Sue, who made the check in process super easy and who is very responsive and helpful. All in all, a great find and highly recommended.

Gorgeous house great location

We played games, walked to the beach, walked to ice cream and shopping. I enjoyed my latte coffee outside with sounds of the waves and one of many coffee table books provided. Very relaxing. We slept well! Thank you

A Little Gem in Chatham

This home is a wonderful rental. It is very clean, updated and has all the amenities one would need. It is well stocked with beach chairs, towels, umbrella and is a very short walk to the beach and town. It was the perfect place for a multigenerational gathering and Sue was extremely accommodating and always available to answer a question. The backyard is lovely and Sue has thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible.

Amazing property…perfect location. Walk to the beach and town. We have rented multiple homes in Chatham over the past 20 odd years, and this location was BY FAR the best. Owner was very accommodating with suggestions and immediately responsive. VERY sad to leave. ML PGH PA

June at the Cape

We just loved our stay at the property. House is fantastic and perfect size for my husband, myself, our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren ages 5 and 7. Easy walk to the beach and downtown Chatham, The house is equipped with beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and the kitchen is full stocked - just bring your groceries and you are set. Sue does a very nice job in keeping the place in top shape and communication with her was excellent. We would love to come back!

Perfect Stay

The property was beautiful and well stocked with everything you needed for a beach trip (towels, chairs and even beach toys). The backyard is stunning and we particularly enjoyed the lighting from the kitchen and living/dining (tons of natural light). The decor has a perfect “Cape Cod” style. Beds were comfortable and having two en suite bathrooms plus one in the basement level and one on the first floor was so convenient. I can’t stress enough how perfect this location is for the beach (a two minute walk even with my 2 and 4 year old) and a short walk downtown as well. Check in/out was a breeze and everything was clearly detailed in the binder put out by the host. This was our first long family vacation and it was wonderful!

I'll never go to Florida again

Sue's place makes me wish I could win the lottery so I could live there all the time. The best kitchen we've ever seen in a rental (and we've seen a lot), some of the best sleep we've ever had on vacation, and steps from the beach and the middle of town. Perfect in every way. Thanks, Sue. we'll be back.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spacious with great amenities. Terrific location - just a short walk to the beach and into town to the restaurants and shops. Our host Sue was very responsive and helpful. Everything was perfect and we hope to be back again!

Chatham summer vacation

We spent a week in this beautiful house and had the best experience! The house is beautifully decorated, very well stocked with all of the amenities you could need, and in the ideal location. The yard is a cape oasis to hang out. Only a few minutes walk to the beach or downtown Chatham. Sue was a pleasure, and the whole process from booking to check out was seamless. We will definitely plan a return visit and recommend this property without hesitation!

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed this property soo much. It was located 5 minutes from downtown Chatham, and five minutes from a fairly secluded beach. We even had excellent care for our electric car at the Chatham Bars Inn for two charges during the stay. We really loved the size of the home, the decor and amenities. It was luxury and beautifully stocked for our families comings and goings! We covered the entirety of the Cape for daily wandering but we were always grateful to return to this wonderful refuge with beautiful nooks - places to enjoy a glass of wine or a great book! We hope to return soon. I also loved the back yard and landscaping with flowers blooming everywhere you walk or sit. The details were catered for! It was exactly what I needed and my family felt the same way. Thank you.

Fantastic Chatham Gem!

We just finished our 3+ week stay at this wonderful property. Wow!! It is an immaculate, well appointed home that feels brand new. The owner (Sue) has clearly put a lot of effort into the design touches and furnished her home with every modern convenience you could want (brand new appliances, Apple TV, outdoor grill, etc). Great location which is walking distance to town, Lighthouse beach & CBI. We’ve stayed at a lot of homes in Chatham over the past 20 years and this one will be on repeat for us. My advice to future prospective renters is this - don’t hesitate, just book it. You’ll thank me later.

We have owned a smaller cottage in Chatham for 15 years and rented through vrbo. We have earned 47 - 5 star reviews and a 5/5.

The location is fantastic. Walk to the best beach in the world, and to dinner or shopping on main street. The cottage was completely renovated in 2017 by a world class builder so there will not be any ick moments that you find in some rentals.

The house has a great layout with family space and away spaces. The lower level has a proper queen size bedroom and a bonus room with a twin daybed and trundle. The room is great for kids to chill or watch a movie.
