This three-story, family-friendly retreat provides the ultimate Lake Travis getaway! It's spacious and well-equipped, perfect for large groups! A rustic yet charming and elegant interior decor will greet you as soon as you step inside Spicewood Treehouse. A skylight in the vaulted ceilings floods the living room with natural light, creating the perfect spot for relaxation. Additionally, this area has a set of comfortable sofas and armchairs strategically placed near a 54" TV. Located on the third floor, the well-equipped kitchen with appliances, all the cooking essentials, and granite countertops lets you indulge your inner chef. Guests can take advantage of the mini-fridge in the bar on the lowest floor.

And if that's not enough for a unique experience, you can treat your guests to authentic Texas meals using the gas grill available. Whenever weather permits, you can dine alfresco at the two outdoor dining areas. The deck also features a swinging sofa, the perfect place to relax and admire unparalleled Lake Travis views with a steamy cup of tea. Spicewood Treehouse is all about our guests' convenience, and that's why it offers an on-site washer/dryer.

You'll be located in the gated Windermere Oaks community and only a few steps from the water - spend sunny days paddling Lake Travis in the provided canoes (there are two canoes available for guests during peak season). A community boat ramp is nearby. This location is perfect for getting away from it all, but if you still need to feel that vibrant city life, booming Austin is 36 miles away. Make sure to visit Pace Bend State Park and Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area on Lake Travis for great hikes and scenic roads.

The home's driveway is steep and this is a split level home
Loud noise is not permitted between 10 pm and 8 am and this is a dark sky community
Water levels are extremely low, and access to water from home may be limited.
Refunds will not be given for low lake levels.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
