Great home in prestigious "Winter Haven" area of Central Tucson that has been completely remodeled with new kitchen and appliances, bathrooms, tile flooring throughout and 4 bedrooms with KING beds (1 Queen Bed, and 1 blow up mattress). House enjoys privacy as it's located on a Cul-de-sac with lots of parking and a HEATED Pool (if you want to heat pool - see rules and price to heat the pool), in back yard -- close to shopping, downtown, minutes to the U of A and the river-walk . The perfect place for a short term get away or a long extended stay.

This is a very comfortable house, centrally located in a good, safe neighborhood. The house is very clean and spacious, with ample supplies. The pool and patio are clean and large, and a great place to gather. John was a welcoming host and provided quick communication.

Great family trip

This house was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Tucson. We had a large group in town for the UofA football game and it was very spacious. The host is extremely available, responsive, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

A Pool & a Pool TABLE!

If you're looking for a place for ten people to stay and have a good time, this one is the perfect price-point! Pay the extra to get the pool heated if staying in the spring. This place has four queen/kings, easy access to the University of Arizona and shopping, and speedy WiFi for the kids! The owner is a nice guy and very responsive. Great for large parties and parties! We'll be back!

Needs a little Improvement

1) The bed linens stunk of chemicals. My guess is they'd been washed in heavily scented detergent, which wasn't sufficiently rinsed out. 2) There's a pool table and we'd have liked to play in the evening, but the light over the pool table had an empty socket. Too hard to see for your shots. 3) Speaking of lights, I had to use my cell-phone as a flashlight in the laundry room as the light bulbs were both burnt out. 4) And as to the laundry room, the cleaners left a wet load in the washer, and the dryer was stuffed so full of towels, it's a wonder the dryer even worked. I'd guess it was three loads worth of towels shoved into the dryer at once. 5) There were dust bunnies and trash on the floor under some of the beds. I know this, as I had to look under the bed to get a shoe I accidentally kicked under it during the night. 6) The blinds haven't been dusted. 7) The owner is not allowing sufficient cleaning time between guests. Five king-sized beds, sleeps what? 10 people? So 5 large sets of sheets, plus washing the blankets, plus towels for 10 people, and they are washing it with a single washer and single dryer. Yet they only allow four to five hours from when one guest leaves until the next arrives to do all the cleaning and laundry. This is likely why the laundry room was unusable until we finished their laundry chores. 8) When we arrived at the agreed on time, they weren't finished cleaning from the prior guests. We had to wait three hours past our arrival

Great property, great host.

The family enjoyed staying at this spacious home. We had a party of 5 adults and 4 children and everyone enjoyed the stay. The home has two full bathrooms, which helped a ton, especially with two teenage girls! The pool table in the living room was a hit with everyone, especially the kids -- there was literally a game going on at all times. The swimming pool was great, but the water was too cold for us, so we did not use it much. I imagine that in a month or two the water will have warmed up. The neighborhood is safe - one of the adults in our party is a walker and she was waking up early to walk around the neighborhood, and she made it back safely every time :). There is also a washer and dryer, which we took advantage of to do a couple loads of laundry. John, the host, was great. He was very responsive to my text messages. He met us at the home at check-in and showed us around and recommended various activities and restaurants in the neighborhood. He was also very accommodating when we asked to check out a little later than the official check-out time. The living room furniture could use some updating, but overall the home was great and the host was great.

Great place for family!

We had a great time at this property! There were 5 of us total, 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a10 year old. We were there over spring break for our daughter's 18th birthday. She chose this house because of the pool, all the king beds in the bedrooms, and proximity of stuff to do. The house is great for active families with older children because of the pool. John was a wonderful host and and ansererd all our questions very quickly. He also went above and beyond to help us out and we were able to stay another night when our flight home was cancelled. Its close to grocery store and restaurants. Its on a quiet cul-de-sac in a nice part of town.

A great family stay

John was an amazing and responsive owner. John and Mario worked through any little issue we had. The family had a great time in the pool which was heated to a very comfortable temp. The central location allowed us fairly easy access to attractions in all directions. Thanks John for a great stay!

Ladies Spring Hiking Trip

We enjoyed our stay at John's home. The home was very clean and had everything that we needed. The location is great as it is close to lots of hiking trails and things to do. Many good restaurants are close by and accessible. John was very responsive to any of our needs and easy to communicate with. His instructions are very clear and easy to follow. He is a super host!

Clean and spacious

Thank you for letting us stay in your home. Quiet neighborhood. It was well maintained and had plenty of room and space for everyone to sleep. There was plenty of towels which is always good. The pool was amazing. Only suggestion is adding a few mirrors to the bedrooms. Bathrooms had mirrors but with 7 people it was a little challenging with everyone getting ready. Would definitely stay here again.

Family fun enjoying the pool

The house was very suitable for our family of 9. Very nice having a king size bed in each bedroom. The pool was lots of fun. The pool table was entertaining too. The first day we had an issue with the pool and John the Property Manager was very helpful! He made sure the problem was resolved very promptly. We really appreciated all his help!

House

John’s property was perfect for our stay. He was a great communicator and made everything very easy. The house was nice and the pool and outdoor patio was so fun. Even though the house was a 10 min drive from campus, it worked out and I highly recommend this house!

Spacious home with a great pool

We had a great time staying at John's home in Tucson! John was a very attentive host, meeting us within minutes of our arrival and following through very quickly throughout our stay when we had a few items that we needed. The home itself has been recently remodeled, is very spacious, and all four bedrooms have new mattresses that are very comfortable. This is a great place to stay for a family! The pool is gorgeous and our boys swam every day. We stayed for 10 days so the onsite washer/dryer was also very useful. Though the house is located in an older part of Tucson, you're relatively close to the U of A campus, historic 4th street, and there is close/easy access to the Tucson Bike Loop which is great for biking, running and walks. Small improvements I would suggest are some outdoor landscaping, as the house looks a little abandoned when you first drive up and doesn't represent how beautiful it is inside. Some new couches and dining room chairs would go a long way too. Overall we really loved our time in Tucson and would recommend staying at John's for sure!

This house is in the famous Winterhaven area, and has been completely re-done, with all new appliances. It was designed for VRBO, and has lots of space for gatherings as well as fun and entertaining areas, and a POOL and POOL TABLE. Relax and enjoy your group, while having tons of fun.

This house has all the modern Technology as well as it is close to the Walking, biking trail, Shops and the University of Arizona. It even has wifi bathrooms speakers, 2 coffee makers and lots of space.
