Things to know:

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one free ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on property specific websites.

Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Trip with the kids

I’m a single dad with 3 boys. They loved how spacious the place was and how many pools there were. Their only complaint was that the WiFi would fail from time to time, but as I wanted them off of their devices I was fine with it. I found the resort accommodations adequate, the location was great and the beach and pools were great too. I cooked a lot of the meals in our room and the frying pans provided were pretty beat up, the refrigerator was running too cold and was difficult to adjust. Outside of my few gripes the place was well priced and someplace we would visit again in the future.

Could use some remodeling / upgrade furniture

Late check in because they were still cleaning the room yet the living room chairs were dirty and stained, walls were dirty, the kitchen table chairs were broken and I called the front desk for linen and never received it. Bad experience!

This place was a dump. It is outdated and old. Paint chipping off the walls, all the appliances and light fixtures rusted, door handle to balcony rusted n broke. They came and replaced it the next day after we complained. Doors broken, phones broke, toilets don’t flush well. Sleeps 8 but has a small table for 4. Only good thing it was a good location and plenty to do. Don’t recommend this unit and will not be staying again.

Not happy at all

We arrived early and contacted Vacasa to see if we could request an early checkin. We were told that was not available even though it was listed on the website. We went to the checkin to let them know we were here and to start the pre-checkin process. I was told they would call me as soon as my room was ready and that it would be before 4:00. We never received a call so at 4:00, I went back to the checkin desk. They said it's still not ready but let me call and look into it. I went and sat down in the lobby and was never called back up to the desk. I waited 20 minutes and went back up to check on things. The lady said oh, I never called them. Another person finally called and said I'm not sure why it's not ready yet and finally called to check on the status. Now they told her it was ready. Very poor communication. We finally went to our room which was extremely small and crammed. The fridge was filthy and had mold on the sides of it. The vents had so much dust on them, it looks like they have never been cleaned. Not a very good experience for what we paid.

Beach & Pool Convenient

The good thing about staying at Baywatch Resort is the nice size pools, hot tubs accommodations along with having the beach just feet away. However the maintenance on appliances needs to be updated and the amount of people each room sleep is misleading unless you don’t mind sleeping almost on top of someone.

Great Stay

The location is great! Resort amenities are nice as well. We visited the poolside bar & had delicious drinks. It was great for our family (3 adults, 1 toddler). The condo is dated but great for the price. It could use some cosmetic work but we spent more time at the beach & pools than inside. We would stay here again!

Bay Watch Resort

My family and I stayed in the two bedroom condo. The room was pretty clean. The bedrooms were very tight. Not much space if you have packed a lot and need space for storage. There were some scuff marks on the master wall probably from bumping things into the wall because it is so tight. I did not like the fact the master bedroom was in the front. I think the master should be located in the back with the balcony and private bath. Instead the two full size beds were located off the living room with the private bath and balcony. Our two older children slept in that room. The condo just needs some updating. Some painting, replacing the vanity in the master bedroom it had dry rooted, and the refrigerator was peeling. I think it had been spray painted one too many times it is time for a replacement. It could use more seating so families could sit around more comfortable. The view was beautiful!! I loved to walk to the kitchen/living room area to see such a beautiful view. Staff was awesome here! Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. My family and I would stay here again! Because it was pretty clean! I think for the next time we will do the 3 bedroom!

Home was awesome! Check in was challenging!!

Amenities and home were awesome! Would love to stay there again! However, there was a name left off of our reservation at the time of booking. Unfortunately that was the first person to arrive for several reasons. That person provided everyone else’s name, filled out the paperwork, provided all vehicle information and paid with their card. They also provided a photo ID and cannot access the room until the person with the only name on this reservation arrived. This cost us a lot of time as we were trying to prepare what dishes needed to be brought with us and wanted to have the room access earlier than it was. Very frustrating that the person who can pay and fill out paperwork and who’s phone number is an alternate number on the reservation and has a photo ID cannot access the room until the only name on the reservation is there. There were supposed to be two names on this reservation and this was an oversight in the booking agent. However there should be some kind of leniency in this situation at check-in.

Excellent building facilities , view and location but the unit is in poor condition

The condos are in the perfect location and we had a wonderful time at the beach but the unit has had obvious water damage and has been used very hard. The bathroom vanity had major damage to the side of it and looks like it was rotting. The kitchen appliances all have rust on them. The carpetsWere disgusting. And the furniture was all stained in the living room. This unit needs a lot of love for the price that the owner wants to get. We will definitely rent at this location again but not with this particular unit

I would not recommend

It was dirty and not maintained well. The facility claims it is smoke free, yet smoking was happening everywhere. If they question that, they just need to look at their beach access points because there were cigarette butts ALL OVER! Do your research before staying here.

Bay Watch 1009..

Very Clean, Soft Beds & Pillows, Spacious, Washer and Dryer is a plus, nice clean kitchen, 2 very clean and wide tubs with Jacuzzi, Very Clean towels and bedding.. Balcany was amazing with 2 entrances from the Living room to the guest bed room. Hot Water is a plus in the rooms after a beach day. Hot Tubs down stairs are nice and the pools are heated. Beach at night from the Hotel is really nice and lit well from the upper parts of the Hotel. Privacy and Lack of Noise is great. Room Service for Towels and Customer Service at the Front desk was awesome. Gentleman that helped us dolly up our belongings was really nice so tip them well. Parking in the garage is a bit tight but very clean and safe. 3 TV's was amazing for our kids and us to watch different thing and for gaming. Coffee Pot and silver ware looked brand new. Room was amazing and we will stay here again.. I just wished they had a Veterans Discount like most Hotels.

Fantastic Rooms

This hotel was exceptionally clean and the apartment we stayed in was roomy and had a washer/dryer, a large balcony, a huge kitchen, etc. Two beds in one room overlooked the ocean and had a door to the balcony. It was the best hotel I’ve stayed in. I did have to ask for a shower curtain for one bathroom but that just assured me they wash them between visitors. I will definitely be back.

it was quiet, allowed us to work...really liked the corner location with the extra door because my colleague had her dog and it made it safer in event she slipped out. the pools/spas were great. Heard a number of people complaining they no longer gave out pool towels as in past but that didn't matter to me as it was a work trip.
