This family-friendly abode grants guests the convenience of having an on-site washer/dryer, central AC, and free WiFi.

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one free ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites.

Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

30th Anniversary

This place was perfect for us the view was amazing. Check in was easy people were really nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Easy access to the beach plenty of pools and hot tubes. Nice area. We will definitely be back.

Great vacation!

The room was very tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable to stay in. We had one minor issue with the television during our stay, but maintenance came up to address the problem in a very timely manner. It was a relaxing and laid-back vacation. Staff was helpful and friendly. And we loved having a jetted tub in the room. We will likely be returning next year.

Not what I paid for

I was very disappointed in the place. Dirty floors, rugs and furniture. Washer broke and no one responded to me about it.

Nice place but a few things were disappointing

Loved the view, looks like it's still in the process of renovating....just a few little things like trim, paint etc. No big deal. Definitely a lot nicer then some of the other rooms. Thermostat had no batteries in it and heat/ac wouldn't work. Put batteries in it and turned it on but still wouldnt work.Called front desk, waited an hour but had to cancel service request because we were leaving the room for a tournament. First night we FROZE...second night we had to open the patio door to get a breeze. Not a huge fan of the 10 digit code to get in. Had to carry around the card everywhere we went so we could get back into the room. Shower pressure was extreme!!! It's always the opposite in these types of places but my son had to have a bath because the water pressure was so intense...haha I loved it though. Would stay there again if a few changes were made :)

Not as we hoped

The facility itself is not clean and many areas have a foul smell. The parking situation is a disaster for loading/unloading. The parking garage is very tight and only one car can make a corner. I highly recommend offsite parking. The room was likely very nice after remodel, but is past time for some attention. The fridge is rusted along with shower curtains. The quarter round molding is molded and coming apart. The hot tub needs re-caulked. The large chair in the post is no longer there. The shag rug I saw negative comments about over a year ago is still there. The balcony door handle fell off soon after arriving. Overall for the price per night I would look elsewhere.

Baywatch

The stay was average to good at best. It deserves a 3.5 in stars. It was great from the aspect of the proximity to the beach. However, there were a few unfinished areas that needed to be upgraded in the master's bedroom and master's bathroom. The bottom portion of the tub was a bit outdated, the doorframe the door slides into was slightly damaged and needed painting. The most frustrating thing was the fact that wifi was not secure. We had terrible internet service during our stay. We were not able to watch T.V in our bedroom during one night because we weren't able to secure our wifi because other vacationers were on it.

Xmas getaway at the beach with my grandbabies!

Love the Bay Watch! Staff is supper friendly and helpful, Check-in was fast and easy, rm#1408 Oceanfront 2bdrm is a nice updated room and was the perfect size for us. We will be back next year for our Xmas getaway at the beach⛱ 🎄 Thank you BAY WATCH!

Nice room, but the place is a hassle

We loved having two bedrooms, two baths, and in-room laundry facilities. Keep in mind that Vacasa reserves the right to suppress any review that includes… “ Negative reviews only about service provided and not the home itself.” We stayed in tower one at the Bay Watch resort in North Myrtle Beach. We checked-in and headed to our building to unload our vehicle. There was no place to park our car to unload, so I had to pull up behind people and put the flashers in. Then, our key did not work on the door to lobby where our elevators were. And guess what, there were no carts. So, I had to walk back to the main tower to get a cart. While near the front desk, I told them that my key didn’t work and they checked my key and said it sometimes doesn’t work and gave me a code to use on the keypad. I unloaded the vehicle and went up and down 14 floors to unload, then went to park the car didn’t the block in a parking garage that was basically bumper to bumper traffic all the way up to the 6th floor. An elevator ride down, walk back to my tower, wait for an elevator, ride it up 14 floors, and I can finally relax. Upon entering the room, we noticed a strong air freshener smell. After about two days, it faded and we noticed the reason why they sprayed so much; it started smelling very musty. The front of the stainless steel refrigerator was rusting! There seems to be a moisture problem in this room. We noticed that the trim work was very poorly done, pieces were missing, nail holes were not filled/patched properly, some pieces were not painted fully, the doors didn’t close easily, floor transition pieces came loose, one of which caused my wife to trip and almost fall. Neither bedroom had an operating light switch. The transition trim entering the master bedroom is loose. The center panel on the mirrored medicine cabinet is loose and almost fell because the lower hinge is missing the screws. The trim along the tub is very sloppy and doesn’t match. I’m the handyman in the family and it was hard for me not to break out the tool kit and make some repairs to this place. My daughter even commented that the place looked like some one staged it quickly and flipped it. On our first night, there was noise and loud music until 1:45am. Every time we went on our balcony, we smelled cigarette smoke. Every time. It’s supposed to be a non-smoking facility. I went to the front desk and asked for an extra key for my daughter and got a rude response from the lady at the front desk. I had to explain that she was 22 years old and listed on the reservation and they reluctantly gave her one. Then next day. upon returning from the beach, we noticed that the showers to rinse off the sand do not work. There was a single garden hose with a broken shut off valve that was stuck at very low volume, 24hrs a day. On Thursday morning, our daughter sustained an injury when entering the lazy river due to a poorly designed, slippery and short (front to back distance) first step. She’s not a child and was even holding the railing. It’s a good thing that she was holding the railing or it would’ve been much worse. The Wi-Fi was spotty the whole time and quit working on Friday night. It was raining, so there wasn’t much else to do. Also, it was our last night there and we planned to watch movies together. I called the front desk and was referred to the number on a piece of paper that they gave me on the first day. I called the support number and got cut-off after waiting for a few minutes on hold. I called again and waited on hold for 5 minutes. Finally, I got a human who said he will put in a ticket to get it looked at and they will be calling me about it. I asked if someone would come within the next 10-20 minutes and he basically laughed at me and said “that’s not possible, there’s no one on-site.” How could they have no support on-site for basic Wi-F...

Off season

Great place to stay. Very clean and nicely laid out. Parking is as expected at any ocean front hotel/condo (and that’s why we usually don’t stay oceanfront) but the view is worth it!! Will definitely come Back to Bay Watch again.

Cozy Quiet Condo

We were very pleased with our accommodations. Room 1408 did not disappoint. It was cozy and clean. The staff were very attentive, and friendly.

The room was eh

The unit could use some TLC. The toilet lever was broken, the laundry room door is broken and the mirrored cabinet in the master was broken. We called and they came and fixed the things in the bathroom. The barstools have coverings on them but they are very dirty and so is the ottoman for the chair in the living room. The entire place needs a coat of paint-the white paint has yellow coming through-not attractive. The fridge is an eyesore since the entire front is rusted. It should be updated for the money you are paying per night. The garbage can out in the hallway was over flowing with garbage and garbage was on the side of it since there was no more room in it. It was a day and a half before they cleaned that-passing it on our way to our room was not pleasant due to the smell. We will not come back

Great views, clean!

We enjoyed our long weekend. The condo was perfect and the beds were super comfy. We loved the view off our balcony and enjoyed all the amenities.
