Fully renovated in 2025! Just one block from the bay, this cozy beach house with a fully fenced private patio is ideal for anyone who wants a coastal getaway, while still being close enough to the attractions, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of San Diego. We have all the amenities you need, with a comfy King-size bed, full coffee bar, large patio w/ BBQ, outdoor dining table, lounge chairs. Great amenities including 2 bikes, 2 Stand-up paddleboards, beach chairs and floats. Walkable to restaurants, parks, the bay, and the beach, your perfect vacation is a click away! **No cleaning required**. Unlike other rentals, we will never ask you to clean the property. That's what the cleaning fee is for. You're on vacation, just lock up and leave, we got you!

We also have Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN as well as other free Roku apps on both the living room and bedroom TVs!

**Our parking spot is narrow so big trucks or SUVs may not fit. There are usually spots on the side street (Fanuel) if this is the case. This is a lower unit, so you will occasionally hear guests moving around upstairs. However, this is a very quiet area in general, with very respectful and professional neighbors and we do enforce quiet hours from 10pm to 8am daily. This home HAS NOT been child proofed and there are cactus plants on the patio.**

This was perfect vacation home for us! The location is ideal with only a very short walk to Mission Bay. The home is beautiful, well-equipped and comfortable. The host communication was excellent. Details about the property were precise and easy to understand. The private patio space was a highlight for us! We would stay here again for sure!

Great location close to the bay and the beach. Property was exactly as shown in the listing and had everything we needed and more. If you like running or cycling there are great paths at your door step. Host was easy to reach and very responsive.

Super enjoyable place to stay. Unit was clean, well organized and the host communicated well. We enjoyed walks on the beach and a quiet place to land after a full day. Will stay here again next time we're in the area.

Awesome Stay

Everything was just as described. Very clean. Pictures were accurate. Perfect getaway for 2. The location was exactly what we wanted for easy access to beaches and food. The bikes came in handy for cruising the neighborhood. Kevin was easy to communicate with. This was a solid stay. It deserves all the positive reviews. I highly recommend.

Thoughtful host

We had a great stay in this cute San Diego home. Bikes made it easy to get to Pacific Beach. Lots of thoughtful extras such as paddle boards, sunscreen and coffee.

Perfect location and place for a weekend

I stayed here for a weekend and the size was perfect for 1-2 people. Bed was super comfy, the checkin process was seamless and easy, tons of towels. I didn’t get to use the bikes or any extras because it wasn’t warm enough but having all of those was a huge perk.

Great Location, yet in a Quiet Residential Area

The apartment was located behind the house but entered from the back alley thru a locked gate beside the multi-unit complex. It was as shown, a bit old but well organized and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen was stocked with coffee (pod and drip), foils, garbage bags, and a welcoming bottle of wine. Extras included dog treats, streaming channels (Netflix, Apple TV, etc.), paddle boards, bicycles. The small private yard had loungers, chairs, BBQ (needs new heat deflectors or complete replacement). The location was a block from Mission Bay & Faneul Park (walking, cycling, no services), but 6 blocks from the ocean beaches with their bars, restaurants, SoCal beach scene (far for a walk, but easy with the bikes). The area was quiet and safe, with plenty of places to walk the dog. Kevin was great, occasionally checking on us and always responsive to our needs. Overall, perfect for a 3 week stay.

Great stay!

The apartment was a great holiday base. Inside, there was plenty of space, an ample closet to keep the luggage out of the way, a well-equipped kitchen - and everything super clean and tidy. Outside was a great courtyard with seating, lounge chairs, paddle boards, beach chairs, a kayak and two bikes with helmets. We took the bikes all over, but it was a little on the chilly side for the water equipment unfortunately. There is a washer and dryer in the building which was an added plus, but it is also used by other tenants (detergent and dryer sheets provided). The apartment has a nice position near Mission Bay which is about a block away. Within a 10 or 15 min walk, you are at the beach. Bus stops are also about the same distance away which was really convenient - no need for a car rental. However, if you do have a car, the parking spot is right outside the apartment. Grocery stores and restaurants are also within walking distance. Entry is via keypad code - it was nice not having to worry about keys. All in all, a terrific stay and I would definitely book again on a return visit.

Convenient and Stocked

This was a great place to stay! Very conveniently located to the bay, beach, and popular restaurants. They were fully stocked with everything you would need from water sports to coffee pods! Easy to find and easy check out makes this an easy recommendation.

Nice beach getaway

Would definitely recommend for a short stay in PB. Prime location by the bay and beach. Host was professional and communicative. Checked in regularly to make sure our stay was going smoothly. We did not have our dog with us, but it seems to be a very dog friendly unit which is a plus.

Loved our stay!

Great property, looks just like the photos. Private patio is so nice, and the bay is a very short walk away. We walked mostly everywhere, lots of fun restaurants nearby. Kevin always answered any questions we had very promptly. Lots of towels and extra linens too which is nice! Thank you, Kevin!

Great Location

Small, but clean and updated one bedroom. Great location for hanging out in Pacific Beach and Mission Bay. The provided amenities.... bikes, paddle boards, chairs, etc. are all you need to enjoy the area.

Great stay by the beach

Kevin was an amazing host. He was very communicative and helpful. His place is right by the beach where we were able to use the bikes and paddle boards that were supplied. We will be back!
