Relaxing week

The home was as advertised. Pool was great, short walk to private beach and check in was seamless. Just up the road is Lauderdale by the Sea which was quaint and good spot for drinks. I would recommend the property if staying in the area.

Great location, very close to the private beach

We enjoyed our 3 week stay at the Beach house. While the property was originally built in the 1960s, it has been partly updated in the last few years. The interior was very clean and tidy upon our arrival. Any minor issues were quickly addressed by the property managers. The swimming pool was nice and toasty, though I would recommend the installation of a handrail by the pool steps for added safety. We could comfortably entertain my brother and his wife in the 2nd bedroom with their bathroom access was in the hallway. The other 2 bedrooms do not have direct access to the 2nd bathroom, however and must walk through the living areas to get there. The neighborhood was very nice and provided a safe, 1 mile walk around the perimeter of this island at any hour, which we took advantage of almost daily. We would definitely consider another even longer stay in the future.

Enjoyable Stay at Terra Mar

8 of us stayed for kids' Spring Break, 4 adults & 4 teens. Great location with easy access to beach and everything to do on the east side of the intracoastal. Close to adorable town of Lauderdale by the Sea, we visited just about everywhere between Delray Beach to Ft Lauderdale. Lots of things to do, and great restaurants and bars to enjoy, just off of A1A. There's also a Publix Market and Flanigan's Liquor store conveniently located just over the Atlantic Ave bridge about 5 minutes away which was a huge plus. The dock very useful, as we docked two boats during our visit. We had a terrific time and would absolutely stay at this property again, but I will say that I agree with some of the other reviewers that the bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade. I'm fine with the kitschy retro tiling, but both baths could use some new cabinets, a bit of fresh paint and upgraded plumbing fixtures. It really wouldn't take much to make them shine. Additionally, the bumpers on the dock have seen better days and should be replaced. If you plan on bringing/renting a boat for your stay, be prepared. That said, we had a great week and appreciated the ease of communication with the property manager. I'd give the property a solid B+.

Indoor outdoor living!

Great house for indoor outdoor living. Loved the heated pool and all the space outdoor for dining, swimming, card playing, and sitting by the canal. The house is large and open with everything I needed. The bed in the master was very hard, beyond firm. The bathrooms just need to be updated. It obviously was not a deal breaker but for the price it should be a consideration. Also would have been nice to know when service people were coming. The pool guy, the cleaning lady, the lawn crew, all appeared at different times unannounced which was a little unsettling as I was working on zoom calls. Overall I loved the neighborhood and the closeness to the beach as well as my experience in the house. I would recommend to others.

Great Getaway in South Florida

had a wonderful time at the house. We were a party of 7 and the house "fit us all" - from a toddler to a grand parent. The pool was great - good size and heated nicely. The kitchen was well appointed - and there we options for us to eat inside as a group (rarely) or outside under the tent (mostly). The private beach entrance across the street was amazing. We visit just before sundown almost every day.

Excellent!

The description and photos were accurate. The house was clean, beds comfortable, linen and towels in excellent conditions. The location is lovely and the overall impression of the house was so good, that makes you want to come back.

Great property. A bit pricey

Great pool, nice canal access. We actually used their kayaks. Very nice kitchen, well equipped. Very comfortable beds and well decorated rooms. Very responsive property manager. Great dining area where we had breakfast and dinner every day during our weekly rental. Shortcomings: no soaps and shampoos in the shower. Restrooms outdated.
